On Display

The rising sun is on display
For anyone to see
Though few are out to notice –
Just the lucky ones, like me.

The past few days I can’t describe
Its color – like a mix
Of neon pink and orange-red,
A hue that does transfix.

It hangs there in the sky like that
For minutes, that is all –
A glowing and transcendent orb,
An incandescent ball.

Yet as it inches upward,
All that color changes fast.
Such beauty overpowers;
Seems it isn’t meant to last.

The folks who show up later,
When the sun has drifted high,
Do not realize what they’ve missed
By letting magic pass them by.

Euphoric Kiss

Yore of moments pass
From within the eve
Of mazarine
Heavens celestial body

Pulse of heatwave passions
As spell are cast
Of star gaze
She, upon the auspicious me

Sultry eyes, twinkle yet
Flicker, dance ablaze
Thus, traverse I must, to kismet
Walk the red fiery molten flames

Searing coals forthwith transfix
Become sweet rose nectar lips
"The possession" her magical ruby charms
Burning deeper, is the intoxicating sip

Crafting to rise, crashes walls, hearts aflood
Waters washing ocean's staves
All that is runneth over
Burgundy bloods liquid glaze

Monsoons from out of lives
Two souls set love drenching free
Quicker to intertwine
Endowing testaments, hence to be

Thus, through fibers core wildfires reign
Eruptions into ritual
What ancient fates once withheld
As such escapes pheonix touch, euphoric kiss

Love, the Illusion

There's a rehearsal in the castle, cult party masquerading on the dance floor latin verse sermons the words heard will entrance you, transfix you,
The devil advances towards you and sits you around the marble table where we talk about our carnal instincts and every situation that we find ourselves deep in.
Morning star calling from the depth of his evil pits where I sleep on bed of nails just to hammer down my dreams with something more uncomfortable than standing on ya steep cliff.
Cold and lonely only having ghosts here to speak with about the meanings of life and the lies that we keep hid.
Within controlling moments of emotions that we sink in and sync with relations on a basis of us needing to create a status where were being with each other cos we're linking and we discover that we break it...... now we're seeing our relationship sinking it sinks to the deep abyss
My vision is impaired by unclear scenes I'm witnessing and feeling sickened to the stomach from the butterflies in flight when my gut instinct senses some lies from bad vibes I'm like
Am I jumping to conclusions straining to think straight brain becomes a nuisance
Am I jumping to conclusions the illusion of love is still just as intrusive.

And I'm tryna figure out what to do brain doing figure eights tryna draw up clue to this mad moment
I feel clueless in bad moods, usually I'm living as if I've something to lose
And now I'm tryna figure out what to do blaming you isn't saving myself from the truth proving our pacts broken.....
......Will I think logical or act on emotion when I'm tryna figure out what to do brain doing figure eights tryna draw up clue to this mad moment
I feel brutal in bad moods, cluelessly now living as if I've nothing to lose
And I'm tryna figure out what to do thinking of a better way to proceed to see all this bull through re-evaluating recent events judging my errors bearing in mind I'm civil and often couldn't be fairer
Anything I tell you isn't out of a conscience I'm conscious but I'm hurting inside and this stomach aches constant
I've put up with this nonsense dealing with ghosts
Like sometimes it bothers me and sometimes it don't

Premium Member By the Stream Beside the Meadow

On a grassy bank beside a trickling stream
I view her ebony locks of which I've dreamed

Naked she is bathing in translucent crystal clear
As I long for her shapes to shadow me near

This short distance between us in natures surround
For soon we will be in clinch on her sacred ground

Whilst all around there are sounds of wildlife lush
It leaves you in marvel as it quietens to a hush

I turn my head in this most dreamy of place
As I capture her beauty that nature has graced

The cooling waters from the pure running stream
Cascades down her body this fluid supreme

Her ebony locks down her body caress
Naked to bare we have no need to undress

On a blanket of tartan we kneel down as I dry
My love, my lady as we look into our eyes

Shaped undulations awaken thoughts in my mind
As I lightly touch my dreams start to unwind

Our adventurous hands now in wandering roam
Amidst the greens and colours in this harvest home

Beneath the blue, two torsos in mix
Feelings of desire have us joined in transfix

Pleasurable movements like soft rolling waves
Cresting in the breeze as we internally crave

Our love heightens in joyous serenade
By the stream beside the meadow, our love displayed

Soul-Mate

how sweet the love,
 of the soul-mate soul,
who generates love,
 that i can't hold,
to transfix her,
would be my measure,
the natural cuddle,
burning pleasure,
my mind,
the thought does mold,
like brainwaves,
yet of old,
the caveman has control,
of the never,
 maybe never?
goal...
not clever:(
droll...
endeavour..

Premium Member Caution

Don't transfix me with a gaze that shakes
my complacency and threatens to resurrect
feelings I let die--actually bludgeoned to death—
eons ago.

Don't speak to me in that seductive tone,
reminding me that I am flesh, not a well-oiled
machine. Don't touch me with demanding hands
that seek the warmth and fulfillment I can't,
or won't, provide.

A final warning:
If you must try to summon forth a dead or
dormant thing, do so not simply for the challenge
of conquest.

Awakened things must be nurtured.

Premium Member But If I, With the Finger of God

The candles are extinguished today and the crucifix covered in black
for the One whos life was once bludgeoned with ignorance and greed
As He readied for heaven, he took each heavy Pontus whack
for sake of a world that could not accept nor believe, His Holy Creed

Some repented while others shouted profanities and ignored His tears
as He carried the Cross towards His final resting place, He slowly wept
the sky, grueling dark unbending, did not shed the rain nor smear
while His laced up sandals walked the sand without God's intercept

"But If I, With The Finger Of God," He once implied before he died
but this was not to be, for the Son of God belonged to man's transfix
He walked through throngs and herds as he closed the great divide
they watched, as clustered Halos grew around His bloodied Crucifix

But If I, With The Finger Of God could wipe away His pain
be more then just a writer recalling His death with ink and quill
The world would be changed as I know it, and He would Reign
Yes He is the One who died but also, the One they could not kill.

Premium Member Bounces

Like scramble eggs wanting over easy
Life bounces
Go with it, Bounce high bounce far
Bounce for bouncing
We are here once at least in this form
Today human
Tomorrow sparrow
Yesterday butterfly
Sitting inside my front screen porch
Mellow is the mood of my neighborhood
The sound of shoveling echos in the distance
I taste the day and savor the calm
Sunny and warm with a giggling breeze
And a lonely cooing of an turtledove
The sound of shoveling mixes into the moment
scraping the sound, spreading gravel
tap tap tap, it ceases
A lazy car moseys down the road as if nowhere to go
And my eyes transfix on the lovely figure
of a young teen girl walking slowly and surely
With no modesty of clothing or vibe
Indeed youth is wasted...
Troubles or pleasures life goes on
The night will shade
The day will shine
Life bounces either way
back and forth
high or low

Premium Member Feathered Dream Catcher's

Within a catcher, dreams do scream
feathers redeem
man's sullied soul
sweet dreams the goal

Within their vanes they transfix
each demon lick
each channeling's
imaginings

Within the web they flutter, curs
nightmare mutters
beaded offerings
each feather sings

Premium Member My Sweet Shereen

How is it that you're beautiful
I really do not know
Your dad and I are average
we do not have your glow

Could it be true, some goddess genes
got somehow in the mix
When you walk by, I see the eyes
Of all the men transfix

You've got the curves; you've got the class,
and girl you have appeal
I'm sure those boys who see you near
Just wonder if you're real

I know I'm just a silly mom,
who likes to praise and dote
But when I see you next to me
I cannot help but gloat

This Mama Bear is happy for
her daughter is a Queen
and like her name, she's very sweet
my darling girl, Shereen

My Gold Dream

Journalism!
My gold dream,
So out competing it's.
Sighted by a crowd.
Embraced by few.
Outrank on screen it's.
I love journalism!

Journalism!
Adventurous it's.
Sounds of rockets in netherworld,
Not about to transfix a journalist,
But only sought-after,
I love journalism!

Journalism!
It's a dream in me,
A dream of gold and my cheese!
I want to fit in the press shoes,
Now I got to write, report and broadcast.
Journalism don't gravity me!

Wilst Thou Marry Me

Fairest of the fair wilst thou be as wife
For thy breathe though lips elixir kisses
Our future can allow me true immortal life

I see mine eyes transfix and I am lesser free
A willing prisoner of a royal court
Unto passion's spells and gazes slavery

As winds of change bow me to mine queen
To feel the fables of inner beauty
The Gods of blessings that they bring

And loss of love becomes, mine only fear
Also time, the marble pillars standing
Still, grandeur when thee do appear

One is to dream of love passed the morrows
Be a man and mind never deviating
Setting straighter than Eros and his arrows

To deep, pierce through the soul to heart
Binding all of us whole altogether
Like the morning shadows to the moonlit darks

This nomad here and once, now a cease to wander
Outward towards scattered raging storms
But, in the eye the treasure is love of lover

And I must call thee mine dearest dearest wife
Surely I canst pay Venus, or then the piper
But, under heaven what cost shall be much higher

But, mine entire heart which I give thee
A chance to hold an angel, I ask from bended knee
And through out the world words echo "Wilst thou marry me"

Fishing the High Country

A body of translucent blue spreads before him,
reflecting heavens of stark purity.
He flicks his shiny offering towards depths unknown,
and cranks the oiled reel.
Time pours slowly,
as the reflective lure moves through crystal waters.
Again the motions transfix thought,
cast, retrieve, move, repeat.
Until abruptly, something strikes the silver flasher,
now the dance is on.
The light weight pole bends to unspoiled water,
as the luminescent trout hurls its body above the water’s surface.
The aquatic life’s attempt to dislodge the three pronged hook fails.
But fish and man have met stares.
The dance intensifies,
a run is made,
line is peeled from spool.
Deeper the fish plunges through roiled waters.
But he will tire,
and face his likely death.
He ceases his desperate struggle.
The distance between predator and prey withers.
The angler now reaches for his worthy prize.
He captures the weighty fish through jaw and gill,
and lifts his prey from liquid home.
He has acquired what he sought,
but he knows that he must not devour this mountain rarity.
Gently, the fish is revived in the cool water.
He is released, and the two part, not as enemies,
but as two strangers,
who met in the fading twilight of the evening rise.

Premium Member Female Olympic Gymnasts

Running into a fixed object
Must send senses into conflict,
Yet girls hit that horse at full spree.
Watching female gymnasts thrills me.

Parallel bars seek perfect catch,
Sailing, holding forms few can match,
Then sticking the mat easily.
Watching female gymnasts thrills me.

Girls transfix on a four inch beam
Where flips, splits, and cartwheels are seen.
Bodies rip and zip moves freely.
Watching female gymnasts thrills me.

Floor routines spark my excitement.
They toss, fly, leap in amazement.
I become spellbound with pure glee.
Watching female gymnasts thrills me.

Spry bodies do things mine will not
With talent hot and grace on spot.
Gymnasts defy known gravity.
Such sights give goose bump thrills to me!

Tam Lin Tangled

Tam Lin Tangled

Branches tangled, know of Janet, Peggy and of Margaret too
Tangled up in blue, when elf acknowledged primal love
The one that’s true and savage
When taking Margaret down
Bundled in her black apparel
Who knows what bent her father had, to warn her not to go
The forest is steeped in secrets and naked to the touch
Broken branches and virginity
Babies come on Halloween leaves at evening
Horses ride above the trees, white and black and brown
When Margaret and her kind
Come open to reality and tumble down
Tastes that burn, built by fires on the twigs
Creatures that turn, scurry through the leaves
Transform, transfix, become there, something other
Succumb, as elfin king and queen
Beneath the broken branches of the trees, begin
