Am I dreaming
or have I dreamt myself awake
I can’t seem to discern
between real and fake
What’s right
What’s wrong
which direction
should I take
Am I reasonably responsible
for the many mistakes I might make

Backward bouncy walking
Crazy ticketed talking
Following the run
in a pretty girls stocking
Unafraid of...

My Train of Thought Now At 36
we stimulate our minds for our intellect to grow
becoming more technical
remaining spiritually slow

so we face trials and tribulation
crisis and complications
praising God, while serving Satan
expecting love when spewing hatred

our faith is dissipating
until its totally forsaken
for miracles we pray
yet and still we disobey

missed lessons
means blocked blessings

wrong...

Find the Strength To Say Goodbye - Losing My Train of Thought
Lost in a sugar-coated lullaby
Lost in a bloody reverie…
Losing control…I lost my train of thought
Watch out – I will hunt you down like game…I’ll watch you rot
But, I will remain downright distraught
I yawn non-stop
As I awaken from my solitary cave…
You’re sleeping beneath the surface...

Deserted Train of Thought
A train siren screams in the desert
Impoverished by strangers' intentions on board
Desert winds howl at a fictitious moon
As my door is rattling with ghosts without names

I jump into the passing train with my restless mind
What if I can't grab the handles and fall into...

The hypnotic thrum of the wheels
Drumming smoothly along the tracks
Inside the early morning hush
Broken by the rare stifled cough
The casual rustling of a newspaper
And the whisper of sporadic conversation.

A body slumped against the window
Business papers being scanned
Earpieces inviting oblivion to the outside world
Anxious glances thrown...

(way of the World) My Train of Thought At 21
visualizing moments from my past
i had friends that were too fast
and now they're pushing up grass

some pulled triggers to prove they were'nt punks
got sent to prison to spend their lives on jail bunks
in this world of wicked people
its seems like um walking a tightrope between...

My Train of Thought
My train of thought
Seems to stop abrupt
Arrives at every single station
Fills to its capacity

And with a push and shove
Passengers unload
With a barrage of every other question

What shall I proceed, to be, asking myself
The "what's or when's or how's" and such
Only that they...

Train of Thought
I came across a dwelling in the dark forest,
outside there was a rickety wooden fence
Ravens perched, evil in their eyes gravest
black, as black as night, I must commence,
the gate swung back and forth creaking,
felt compelled to enter, unknowing the fate
that would become of me, fear...

I Lost My Train of Thought
I lost my train of thought thinking about you. They say love hurts but i haven't
experienced it. I can't eat or even sleep. My world is falling apart because of you. It
hurts to know that your half way across the world. We just got married...

Lost In Train of Thought
There once was a fellow of Beccles abode
Who tackled a crossword wherever he rode.
But fully absorbed and in deep concentration
The poor chap would rarely alight at his station!

Train of Thought
I sit in the back of a traveling train
The exit to the left guides me to the thoughts in my brain
So hop on board to take a ride
On the train of thought with me to see what's inside

You might not be...

Train of Thought
They told me things
That left me on memory's wings
Long ago ...
When I write I show
The white eye of the page
Things that my own heart caged.
The almond like a miser
With its nut, the sun like a fire
Stoking my gut,
The journey that dawn my history
Snatched from unmuddled...

I think I won’t write any poems today
Let some ideas fester and come to term
It’s not that I don’t have anything to say.

Many of my thoughts make me squirm
Some ideas, temporarily lost, will return
Let some ideas fester and come to term.

Rarely do I have an...
