Miss Friend

I LIKE TO BE AT SCHOOL
THE REASON IS THAT YOU

YOU MADE ME THE COPY OF YOU,SEE
THE LOVE FROM YOU WAS SO FREE

OUR FRIENDSHIP DEPTH IS HIGH
CAN CROSS EVEN THE SKY

YOU WERE THE SILKY DAISY
FOR MEE TO SMILE EVERYDAY

YOU WERE THE MILKY MOON
FOR ME TO WALK SAFELY AT NIGHT

YOU WERE THE CLASSY TUNES
WHICH SUIT ON MY EVERY MOOD

YOU WERE THE SCARY MOVIE
WHEN I'M ALONE IN HOME

YOU WERE THE STUDY PARTNER
WHO GOSSIPS RATHER READING

TOU HAVE BEEN STINGY LORD
FOR ME TO KNOW THA VALUE OF BUCKS

THIS MAYBE THE END OF THE POEM
NOT THE END OF OUR FRIENDSHIP...

Tangaroa Whakamiharo

E marino ana te tai

Hei whakaora i te hunga
He waahi hakoakoa
Rere ana to wairua whakamahu, he waahi muna, he korowai paataka kai.

Oktoberfest - Munich Madness

Welcome! everybody now
Europeans, Italians and otherwise

Wild birds all set to crow
Intent on pretzels and gnocchi
Liters of beer and wine prevail
Local foods will make you drool

Party-goers in the groove gear up
Arriving with cheers - Huzza!
Returning guests and those on tour
Teetotalers too we will admit
You are welcome; come and stay

Lederhosen and dirndls, dress apparel
Initial parade complete with confetti
Kicks off the breweries' lark
Every first Sunday, a costume parade

Trendy tents offer entertainment
Historic foods, mostly deutsch
Even children enjoy rides and flume
Reservations you will prefer
Early evening tents may close
Should safety cause concerns

No first-timer can turn down
Ox on a spit and all things potato

Thrills last for more than a fortnight
Oompah music always crescendo
Munich Madness - groups perform
Oktoberfest yodeling, give it a go
Regulation insures your beer -
Real German malt lager
Official toast, “O'zapft is!” - Cheerio!
We will party like there’s no tomorrow

Island of Love

Oh! My Cyprus, You isle of tempestuous love,
Love, kindled by a sunsets fiery flame,
This love inspired isle, brings folk from afar,
To rest in your arms on a sun drenched shore.

You fill the air with your floral fragrances,
Bougainvillea and Jasmine to stir the senses.
Folk came in search of love and grace,
'twas all found in your lovers embrace.

Oh! Aphrodite, arms outstretched,
Rise from the foam to seek your quest.
Petra tou Romiou to Adonis' Falls you ran,
Your Adonis awaits and your love began.

My time, this time is so finite,
For days from now I must take flight.
Keep calling me love, for one day soon,
I will be caressed by your sun and moon.

Hoeveel leuens, hoeveel sterftes

Revoles

Why is it that we keep going round on this ride
you wanting to control me
have to always be on your side
the world dose not revole around you see
so stop trying to make me believe
that without you my sun wont rise
when all you do is decive
I cant even look you in the eye
I cant stand the lies tou tell
to make your self look true
so stay there in your self made hell
cuase I am done with you

Olympic Games

The understanding race
Much competition to face
The disappointing loss
Frustrations tou must toss

The skaters dance
The underdogs chance
The pressure of perfection
The judge's selection

The winner's adulation
Stands for a nation
The cheering crowd
Grows ever loud

A skiers mistake
Acceptance one has to make
The pair skates
The hand shakes
How beautiful they glide
How nervous inside

A Forgotten Language

This is a 2 Language poem, 3rd language is also a blur
 (Funny fact. my dummy poem.)

Oh Mon Dieu je suis comancer oublier a parler francais!
Oh my God I. Am. Beginning. Forgetting how to speak French.

Tou. Mai's francais est aller
All my. French is. Gone

Je. Comprend. Past. Du. Tour.
I don't. Understand. At all.

Comment est sa river . Cest impossible
I do not know how it happened. it's impossible.

Well that's all I remember how to write so far but at least speaking is not that forgetful oh yeah my 1native language is not that far behind, for French is my second. My father found out oh boy it will be a lecture even of me being 40yrs old gosh.

Don't Play Funky

Standing there with your glistening hair,
miniskirt tempting all eyes around,
say you’re just going out the unwind
with you friends, hottest club in the town.
Looks can kill and I’m thinking that you
mean to draw every wandering eye,
as if you do not have a man here,
as if you’re on the hunt for a guy.

Don’t play funky with me, girl,
don’t play funky with me,
I got standards too, girl,
that how it’s gotta be.
Don’t play funky with me, girl,
don’t play funky with me,
I know what’s in a ‘girl’s night,’
tou ain’t cheatin’ on me.

Waking on down the street at your side,
we pass a man and you look away,
looks awkward and I come to realize
that both of you have something to say.
You don’t talk much of what went before,
it gets hard to learn much about you,
wearing a mask don’t make it better,
I’d rather built things up on the truth.

Don’t play funky with me, girl,
don’t play funky with me,
I got standards too, girl,
that how it’s gotta be.
Don’t play funky with me, girl,
don’t play funky with me,
everyone has got a past, girl,
so stop lyin’ to me.

You’ve always said you’re liberated,
and gonna go take charge of you life,
land a blow, make sure all the world knows,
never ‘sink’ to being a housewife.
When we pass kids you think I don’t see
the warm glow that comes into your eyes,
yet you insist you’re not into it
when you so want to give it a try.

Don’t play funky with me, girl,
don’t play funky with me,
I got standards too, girl,
that how it’s gotta be.
Don’t play funky with me, girl,
don’t play funky with me,
I know that you want children,
why not have them with me?

Don’t play funky with me, girl,
don’t play funky with me,
I got standards too, girl,
that how it’s gotta be.
Don’t play funky with me, girl,
don’t play funky with me,
we could make a good thing, girl,
if there’s some honesty.

Advice To Young Men - I

I.
The world that you’re coming into
has never really cared
about who you are ‘deep inside,’
there is no money there.
Your teachers and parents praised you,
because that’s what they do,
the great weight of reality
was never told to you.
You’re unique, but not that special,
you must find skills of worth,
otherwise you’ll have a hard time
surviving on this earth.
t’s not because people hate you,
or that they ‘keep you down,’
ot’s because all are struggling,
all fear they soon will drown.

Don’t think that you can hit it big
With some real clever scheme,
trust me, it’s all been tried before,
get rich quick is a dream.
It’s hard work and tenacity,
real success comes from grit,
the pain of it beats weakness out,
you’ll be better for it.
If you don’t work, you will not eat,
that is the old cliché,
it’s true enough, but there’s much more
I think we have so say.
To not work and live on hand-outs
got from the government,
keeps you alive, but not much else,
it kills all moral sense.
All sense of your adulthood will
just wither on the vine,
you’ll always feel inadequate
in the back of your mind,
knowing you can’t sustain yourself,
that your own efforts fail,
that others must take care of you,
by them you must be bailed.
Either the shame grows in your heart,
and you feel pathetic,
or worse, you hide, and blame others
which just makes your soul sick.
You start to rag on those who work,
pretend they put you here,
ignore knowledge counter to this
in an eternal fear
that you might have to look and see
how your choice made this hell,
to hide from lacking dignity
tou tear them down as well,
And make all suffer what you do,
make all people live a bad life,
so you won’t have to feel the pain
of trying to live right.
What’s left will be a withered thing,
a ruined shell of man,
it’s best to realize starting off,
it’s best to understand
that men have to be productive,
that we were made to build,
best to work hard and start that cause,
before your soul grows ill.

You Never Let Go

When I was on ma own things was bad.
When am alone I was sad.
And the world came crushing on ma bad.
And the loud noise banging in ma head.
But it was that bad cause I was sad.
I had no hope so it makes me mad.
But you came crushing at ma feet.
When I was alone cause I was sad.
When it always bad I will get mad.
But you didn't let me go.
So you didn't let me know.
Cause you didn't let it show.
So they won't call me freak.
Cause u are always always meek.
I love ur loyalty.
Oh you treat like am royalty.
You told me when bird fly they crash.
Not only me many many have clash.
With their souls.
With their minds.
But when it get hard.
Tou u didn't let go.

If You Could See Through Mine Own Eyes

If you could see through mine own eyes
You would see what I could see
You would know That I Love you with all my heart
You would know you are the better half of me.

If you could see through mine own eyes
You would know my love is true
You would understand the way I am
You would know why I do the things I do

If you could see through mine own eyes
You would see how much you mean to me
You would know how I dream of you
You would know we are meant to be.

If you could see through mine own eyes
You would know you are my entire life
You would know you are my guiding light
You would know how happy tou make me.....My Darling Wife. x

Gods Angel

You said i hurt you that cant be true for god sent me an angel when i met you. Angels cant be hurt god wouldnt let that be so when i turned away from you god brought his angel back to me. And then i pushed you even further away so god came his self one day. He told me that his angels would never come to any harm and he knew this angel would be perfect in my arms. He told me son you better listen to the words i say because your angel could not come back some day. That i best open my eyes and see this angel that he sent was mine. If i didnt want her then there was plenty more waiting for her in line.
He said now boy im not trying to tell you how to live your life but you turn away from her again and ill make sure this game you dont win. As he was leaving this was his last words to me. Now you go and you fight for our angel and she will be your guiding light.
So im here now telling you my heart belongs to you im not sure what you will say im not sure what tou will do. I hope its not to late to tell you i want only you. But if it is then i will accept that knowing you have always been true.
