The.isolated moon in far arc of her epogee,
As she searches Earth's surface in cold winter's hemisphere,
She bites her tongue of protest of what she will never be,
And throws sharp knives of jealousy into the atmosphere.
In the cold moon's distant musings, her echoes can't be heard,
And but for the crunch of snow, silence waits for morning sun.
A blizzard has filled a reservoir, and so needs prepared,
Yet moon added sparkly diamonds to selfish pleasure's run.
The winter moon shivers with knowledge that her days will end,
And a yellow moon will rise during six months of the year.
The anguished, tormented moon whose dark murmurs now portend,
She will vanquish the yellow moon, and once more reappear.
Anguish comes to me in the night,
With deep sorrow, I always fight;
Tears sadly, I cannot repress,
Grief tormented, I must confess.
Why do I have to live this hell,
In sadness will I ever dwell;
My life is one full of unrest,
Grief tormented, I must confess.
Ever, will I leave this lament,
Let go, and live in the present;
In poems sorrow I express,
Grief tormented, I must confess.
In a lovely cyber-world lost,
And from poem to poem tossed;
I pen my weeping in excess,
Grief tormented, I must confess.
And in gentle hands my words fall,
Before I can fly, this girl must crawl;
Each kind word is a sweet caress,
Grief tormented, I must confess.
I stand talking to the long past,
Tombs call to me, haunting and vast;
In writing, I share my distress,
Grief tormented, I must confess.

Within these four walls secrets kept
Memories festering, emotionally crippling
Screaming, turmoil, and madness
Chaos and chaotic people sting
Dreams of shouts for freedom,
Emotions built and have died for a reason. His
sadistic unconscious goal of desire. I beg,
“Please No More! “
My empty words echo only to be heard by these four walls
Refuge under my tear stain pillows,
abandoned by my own shadows long ago.
To sleep in comfort of dark shadows
So no one sees how I’ve slept
Keeping a smile camouflages my emotions
Unexpected fear has made me wept
Grief affects my mind and soul
Divorcing myself from the self-distraction gateway
Showing me there could be a better way forward
Instead of retreating into the four walls to stay of arms way
Spotting something bright in the deepest recesses
Swallow my fears, force myself to understand flirt
Allow myself the luxury of breathing in the human rainbows
Gleaming suns warmth eternal comfort

A tormented soul
I’ve never felt worthy of love
I’ve always been a tormented soul
When you grow up without seeing
A loving relationship by your parents
You don’t learn how to love
The tension was always thick
You could cut it with a knife
Parents shouldn’t stay together
Just for the sake of their kids
If you don’t love each other
It damages us
We learn from you
When we do find love
We don’t understand it
We run from it
We hurt everyone around us
Remorse isn’t enough
We become bitter
And lonely
Never understanding what went wrong
To be forever tormented
By what we don’t understand
Do I blame my parents
I guess I do
You thought you were doing the right thing
Not letting your kids come from a broken home
But we are damaged
Nobody is really to blame
We just hope for love
For someone to teach us
What it is to love
But when we let ourselves be vulnerable
We feel unworthy
We become cold and distant
Because that’s what we saw growing up
That is our normal
To forever be
A tormented soul
Sad Death Of Her Lost, Tormented Lover
As I walked out into bitter cold rain
Skies rush down to send even more hard pain,
No worry, torment was long, long overdue
For my extreme folly abandoning you.
Castle now has no water and no bread
My heart weeps and wishes first to be dead;
So missed, warmth of your soft gentle touch
Nothing else does this wretch miss as much,
As you look down, pray a new song for me,
Chase away dark blues, setting this soul free;
For once, this earth's deepest true love was ours
Long before I yielded to lustful fires.
My darling, I have now reached icy river bank
Dive in to be free, giving you my thanks.

In A Dark, Dark Room
Tormented in a pitch black room--
Smelling the foulness in the ground;
Flickering shadows in the gloom
That feed upon me, all around
Bound hand and foot, with neck exposed,
Tormented in a pitch black room,
I only slept, when coffins closed,
With nightmares of impending doom.
I heard above a muffled boom
My eyes assaulted by the light
Tormented in a pitch black room
Never more will I fear the night
I signed on with Van Helsings Free,
Hunting vampires from tomb to tomb.
I rescue others, lost like me--
Tormented in a pitch black room.
Here I sit alone; confined to my prison cell
Locked away from the world it is a living hell
I know I should be punished for taking someone's life
I should have forgiven the man who stole my wife
Now I have time to sit and ponder my crime
Total isolation, my life devoid of sunshine
Wish I could turn the clock back to that fateful day
The events of that night are on constant action replay
Now I’m just a pathetic soul
Life is on hold I am no longer whole
Devoid of human contact, only the prison warder
Not allowed visitors even my beloved daughter
No one is here to see the silent tears I cry
Day after day confined, my life is slipping by
Tormented by realisation of my wasted life
Oh to turn the clock back and forgive my cheating wife

My dear, the one whom rest eludes;
whence comes to you spirits at night,
these specters that harass your mood
and plague you when out are the lights?
Is there no pill or wonder drug
that eases you like a friend's hug?
From eve to eve you are beset;
and assailed by your dreams and fear
of the Reaper's looming onset,
which prompt your nightmares every year.
Like your nightmares, nights annoy you,
then irk, vex, and thus destroy you.
The Angel of Death's ghostly presence
disturbs your rest though you protest;
it reaves from you the assurance
that you are safe and not unblest.
But, my dear, I am here to tell
you,—that for you there's no death knell;
that you're beyond the reach of Death:
for God safeguards you forever,
and gives you life with every breath,
so that Death harms you never, ever!
And know that I'll be here to defend
you for all time until Time's sure end.
I woke to the raucous roaring of beasts braying in the night
Creepy things crawling over my body. I cringed at the sight
I fought off diabolic demons who tried to devour my heart
Shadows snared me; I was tormented with troubled thought
Phantoms played on pauper's graves 'til my pulse grew weak
I was petrfied with fear, knowing my death they'd soon seek!
Ghosts and ghouls wailed at me, and scratched upon the walls
I cowered under the quilt when werewolves howled in the halls

8 Lines of Spooky Rhyme

Peace has gone from my heart like a thief that is lie in waiting ready to emerge from
hiding as result leaving me frightened and confused. I am paralyzed from
uncertainty, and my mind wonders as if I am in shocked from the sudden impacted
from being mugged by the unexpected thief. The peace of my heart is snatched
away without a question, if I should relinquish it or not. My heart lies naked without
the covering of tranquility. I feel so cold and scare not knowing if my present state is
indefinite. I am vulnerable because the secure housing of my heart is gone, and
maybe forever. The foreboding of calamity lies at the entrance, and I am panicky
knowing what the future entails, frighten because it has not yet unfold.
Hades and Tormented Souls (the Dwelling)
(presenting a fragment of the second part promised)
Where the dark wind blows, lies abound
deep into a ravenous, hellish pit.
Lost souls cry and moan deep under ground
under evil torture each must submit.
Dark Hades, ancients called this gloom
agonizing souls, cast into Hell.
Hideous monsters working in every room
death's stinking odor the smell.
Shrill cries from pain immensely great
as tortured minds see so clear.
The miseries they and others sadly ate
embracing the dark seeds of fear.
Panic in one room, terror in another
burning brands searing souls.
So sweet the agonizing cries for mother
as demons reach their goals.
Each torment according to its worst sin
eyes gouged , for depraved acts.
Hearts sliced, tossed into a burning bin
tongues torched for lying facts.
Hands crushed for stealing other's gains
whips slashing across bloody backs.
Every torture imagined for greater pains
even burning in oil soaked sacks.
Deepest level, reserved for special guests
darkest demons there get to play.
Inflicting deeper pain by evil's requests
to those that thought never to pay!
Where the dark wind blows, lies abound
deep into a ravenous, hellish pit.
Lost souls cry and moan deep under ground
under evil torture each must submit.

Previous Note from the Acheron poem:
Previously presented was part one-
The Tumid River of Acheron (the journey) Part One-Revised.
The journey into HADES by way of crossing the Styx.
The river Styx is actually an offshoot of the Acheron
that splits into the Styx and the Cocytus.
Part two now has two lines written. It will be titled ,
Hades and Tormented Souls (the Dwelling)..
I have no preset limit to the second part, may be
longer or shorter. I suspect it will be even longer.
I hope the readers enjoy this write. I wanted to do
something dark and move away from all my love, romance
and Nature writes. A bit of variety to stir my
imagination...
I have made several corrections to this poem in the last
few days.
I can no longer suppress this deep loathing
That writhes and churns, flogs and smothers
Every loving and tender sentiment within
My sullen mind;
Once filled with vain gaiety and vain desire,
Now embittered.
Isolation can make weak even the strongest souls,
But a noose to the neck will not ease this pain,
For Death denies such true repose.
Then tell me, how can I ever be at peace,
When alive the guilt kills me so?
What’s this heavy weight? If I could see it,
I would launch it from my chest.
Do I not deserve a reason for cradling such a thing?
Do my shallow breaths not catch your attention?
When my arms begin to slacken,
Could you not offer a deterrent?
Do you observe me with a biased gaze?
A wry smile at your lips, for the final heave.
Tell me why I suffer, you created me,
I can not fufill a purpose that eludes me.
How many years? Can you not give me that?
Am I to stay subjugated?
When my arms begin to crumble,
Will you ready a noose in their stead?
And when that begins to splinter and break,
Will my heart be next?
Do you think it fit to anchor it to my soul,
When all else fails?
Can I get a reaction from you?
Or do my words fall flat at your feet…
Would you strike out at them to knock the wind from me?
Is that what I just felt?
Why is my load so heavy and unyielding,
When people around me breathe so freely.
Am I to balance the weight of the world?
Joy- I understand the concept,
But is that all I paid you for?
Can I not sample it, or would you cut out my tongue
And leave only the metallic taste for me to savour?
Still… You say nothing.
Well enough of your silence, now it is I who am bored.
Watch, as I free your claim of me.
If I die, I’m blessed to be rid of all.
Can you feel the strings go taught under my grasp?
Can you feel the chaos, soon to be a promise.
No longer will I let my questions be unrewarding
I gave you faith and carried your burden,
Now have it back.
I ALWAYS HAVE BATTLES,RAGEING IN MY HEAD.
IM ALWAYS THINKING,I'D BE BETTER OFF DEAD.
I JUST WISH THAT ONE DAY,THAT MY MIND WILL BE FREE.
OH WHAT A WONDERFUL LIFE,THAT WOULD BE.
THIRTY NINE YEARS,THE SPAN OF MY LIFE.
IS ALWAYS FULL OF TORMENT,AND STRIFE.
I PRAY TO GOD EVERYDAY,TO HELP ME PLEASE.
TO GET RID OF MY ANGER,AND MY MENTAL DISEASE.
I FILL REALITY SLIPPING AWAY,UNTIL THERES NOTHING LEFT.
BUT MY INSANITY,AND EVENTUAL DEATH.
WILL I BE REMEMBERED,WHEN IM GONE?
OR WILL I BE FORGOTTEN,AS TIME GOES ON?
I ALWAYS FILL ALONE,AND AFFRAID.
I CAN'T CARRY ON, THIS CHARADE.
I WILL ALWAYS HAVE, YOUR PERFECT LOVE YOU GAVE TO ME.
BUT ITS JUST NOT STRONG ENOUGH,TO SET MY TORMENTED SOUL FREE.
Her stillness adapts to the realness.
Humble on top of greatness
Struck by an obsessed illness
Caught in a pain, rendered by weakness
Pleading for forgiveness
Reality was never bought, yet always taking
She had remembered her forsaking
Sick and now steady shaking
The ill-gotten syndrome is now awaking
This was an authentic chiller in the making
Brought down by so much fright
Reckoning exists in this fight
The aliment discontinued overnight
The hero bones have made it alright
A once dwindled destination is now bright
