If you go with me,
                                      todays special is
twice around the moon and back.
                               Gathering stardust for your collection,
                                    just you and me.

                                Learning the constellations,
and making a few of our own.

                                And when we return,
we'll write a book and become
                                        learned people.
And if the special doesn't fit,
we can have hot dogs and beans.

Today’s Good Deed

In your open hand
I placed a red rose petal upon it

You looked up at me in puzzlement
Curiosity won over fear

I replied “ the rose petal fell from the sky”
As I tried to capture and hold, it fluttered to your hand

I am sorry, was not I… simply the wind
You smiled retrieving your hand back to the pen

umm, ummm , excuse me miss
Sorry to disturb encore

You looked up, maybe even wishing me gone
I looked down, how does one fix that frown?

These by the way are for you, please, absorb the fragrance
Twelve lovely red roses

Oh but now your face is the absolute same color
Your frown is a smile

Alas beauty has fallen onto beauty
The mist of yesterdays tear, evaporates

but but but stranger man, why me?
The rose petal was a sign for us both you see

You so wished to know there is kindness in this world
I so wished to make anyone at all smile, even but for a moment

So you see, we both have achieved a goal today
I bid you good day, wishing thee well with flowery bouquet

Off I went, across the street, lurking in the shadows
Following close behind, almost empty street

Behind, a wire quickly wrapped around the neck
I slit the throat, blood spurting to the skies

Shock and wonder, why why why?
Death though came fast, I walked away

The roses made her smile only for a moment
Ah but her stalkers death by my hands.............

Shall wipe the sadness and frown
Her fears you see, I just drowned

In blood

Todays Modern Lawyer

Hidden behind one of a billion screens
Sits todays modern lawyer
Lines of code query through the possibilities
Finding the best-fit affair

His personal attachment to the case
Minimal, yet filled with burning passion
His native tongue
Aggressive vulgarity
The overwhelming platform of communal ignorance
Reinforces his arrogance

Todays modern lawyer radiates omnipotence through words
His persuasion isn’t in a courtroom
Nor is it on a piece of paper

It echoes through the minds of the mindless
The minds of todays modern lawyer

Todays Special

I eat black beans on burnt toast,
I take communion from a broken
host.

Premium Member God the Only Solution To Todays Problems

Harvest the hearts and souls
Of every woman and every man
Preach the word
Make them understand
God is the only solution
To today's wicked constitution
And the ever increasing problems
Mankind faces everyday.

What we are seeing in the world today
was foretold in the bible
Long ago
Please don't turn away
seek the truth and the truth
Will set you free
It'snot a mere myth
But reality
Don't get left behind.

Learning Friendship Upon Todays Society

Everyone around me is so down in mood,
Not a single smile to shine through,
Everyone in hand has an electronic tool
 Is that the new rule?

Thinking talking has been erased,
And replaced.
Not knowing the joy of distress-
When in happiness.
While using the voice to talk
 While on a walk.
Laugh at each other's little jokes,
Have a bit of fun it doesn't hurt!

See that stranger opposite you,
Go start a conversation,
It doesn't have to be considered as flirtation.
You may receive admiration,
Maybe all this was written as a
 'Meant to be' notation.
You may never know
Unless you act in this Situation.

Unless you keep your mind wide awake,
You will might your heart quite vague.
Just like everybody else’s,
Who is in the same placement...
Think they have a complacent.
And uneven sense of consent,
For a brand new
Knowledge attachment.

 Set that target to yourself,
Keep a smile on your face.
Anyone you see on the road that looks they're alone,
 Experiment and say hello.
If they choose to ignore,
 Go ahead and move on.
 Not with sadness mode on,
But with happy mood all along.

Cheer up! The world is isn’t against you,
There will be people to respect you,
 Don’t expect a quick connect.
 Look into the prospect
Keep Self-restraint,
In the end it will all take effect.

Yesterday Are Todays Memories

Open your eyes see the beauty of dawn,
Let the pleasure ease the pain
Of forgiving yourself.

You could not have guessed walking away,
The devastation would cause
Unending guilt feeling .

Forgive yourself you did all that you could
Smile , remembering good times,
Walk tall life still goes on.

Todays Kids

Why don’t kids today,
Play outside everyday.
Frolicking in the sun,
Making their own fun,

You couldn’t keep me inside,
No matter how you tried.
On a bike or in the Bush,
On a skateboard with a push.

You just can’t get some kids outside,
Behind a cold computer they hide.
Gaming on Facebook or instagram,
Collecting all the friends they can.

Socially inept and physically awkward,
Can our species ever move forward.
Not if you think of survival of the fittest.
It’s now more like survival of the fattest.

Into words, my innermost thoughts oft flow,
while some are held hostage in word escrow.

For words, once I’ve spoken, cant be retrieved,
So I cautiously speak leaving no one peeved.

Todays Love, Yesterday's Fate

These pills keep me alive,
these pills take the pain away
like yesterday's lost to fate.
Some greet me with a smile,
some are trapped in dreams.
Let us sieze today,
fall into one anothers arms,
fall into one moment of fate,
remember when and the why.
soon today will be gone,
soon tommorrow will come,
with or without us.
Today take me as I am,
love me for today!

Todays Child

the first day you entered this world
my eyes looked you over
my first thought in mind was who is this child

you are open for suggestion but will you take head
