Premium Member A Seed Is a Time Capsule
Seeds are nature's progeny en-capsuled.
Life's germ in suspended animation,
Awaiting the trigger to grow, scheduled
By warmth, rain, season to spark gestation.
Tiny seed has script to create tall trees
Using DNA code coiled in germ cells.
Shoots sent skyward, roots down, through the soil squeeze
To play out the process,...

Time Capsule Reverse Form
Will this be consider one
of the pieces left
behind in a puzzling world

I ask who will judge or go
into this time capsule
for themselves just
to find out what was going
on or what they have miss
in a world that was destine
to a system that in some way
we all...

Time Capsule
You try. Everyday you try.
You get up, search, write, you hit apply.
You do the same cycle; wash, rinse, clean.
You hope that in every solitaire, a reply will come after.
You wait, and wait, and wait.
Sometimes, you get nothing, sometimes you get objections.
You try. Everyday you try.
When...

Mrs Time Traveler and Mr Time Capsule
Submerge into the ocean of an unforgettable history
Love remained as a time capsule
Drown into depth, someone has evoked the same memory

Being alive is being a fool
For an umpteenth time she stumbled
Love remained as a time capsule

Falling for the unfinished story which yet crumbled
She creates...

The Time Capsule
If you could leave behind a time capsule
What kind of things would it hold
It could be something brand spanking new
But to them, it would still be old

Would it be some kind of music?
Maybe your favorite song?
Not any of that beatnik stuff
Well, cause, that would just...

What Is Time Capsule
WHAT IS TIME CAPSULE

I am sixteen stealing my father’s cigarettes.
Learning an independent thought is not valued.

Turn the attention spin. This is a kissing game.
Pucker up. This is going to be a disaster.

A smooth whistle, I don’t think he will disapprove
if I drowned until...

ME CAPSULE

Prudence incarnate
Enticing and exciting
Reckless / selfish

Compatible up until
The consumption of chemicals
The emotion blotted, the romance killed.

Imprisoned by her
Enamored and rotted
I writhe in her field.

Lost and forgotten
Heart-lorned and haunted
By her intensity
 Shadows lock her heart
The moon, the night
Nothing shall keep this apart.

Except for ourselves.
Except...

Poetic Time Capsule
Poetic Time Capsule

The words you see from me are
not necessarily a reflection of how I
feel at that given moment.

Sometimes they are a reflection of
a way I felt at a prior time, a moment
caught in a poetic time capsule that,
for one reason or another, was not
released...

November 9th 2006 Edmonton Alberta Canada(Time Capsule Poem)

Whats in the news today
and how much snow is on the ground
they say in the paper there is 2 600 homeless people
in my home city
but word of mouth and the people who work in the centers
estimate its more like 5000

so I ask
is this...

Time Capsule
This is a flag planted in territory I could not hope to control.
A buoy dropped in space that will never be sighted again.
A desperate note protected by a fragile bottle in the fathomless oceans.

Why does a craftsman labor to build an instrument that he knows...

My Mind,
A Time Capsule
Written: by Tom Wright
1/27/2016

With the clock un-laboriously doing its thing,
I start today with blank canvas.
No chambered thoughts, tarrying from the dark side.

My mind functions as a stopgap time capsule,
Where is interred each thought,
Concisely framed, that my existence lay’s in.

Occasionally I...

Time Capsule
Written: by Tom Wright
February 2015

I carved a name upon a tree,
Like a time capsule, I thought.
In twenty years, I returned,
But God, the great time keeper,
Thought this was not to be
For upon my arrival,
I found the tree had burned.

Time Capsule

I am lying in this bed in this room.
My bedroom has become a tomb.
A time capsule of the past. Of days that didn't last.
My children have chosen not to visit me or call me. They have left me in this tomb of yesteryear.

Hoping for...
