Seeds are Time Capsules - Seeds protect the survival of species from generation to generation even after all the living parents have died. Seeds are nature’s time capsules!

Note: Seeds protect the survival of species from generation to generation even after all the living parents have died. Unlike animals that can only reproduce from living parents, seeds can remain alive to allow the species to survive long after all the parent plants have died.
Seeds are nature's time capsules!

Listen to poem:
Seeds are nature's progeny en-capsuled. Life's germ in suspended animation, Awaiting the trigger to grow, scheduled By warmth, rain, season to spark gestation. Tiny seed has script to create tall trees Using DNA code coiled in germ cells. Shoots sent skyward, roots down, through the soil squeeze To play out the process, the code foretells. Seeds stored for decades remain viable Kept in seed banks to save diversity, When tree survival unreliable Through habitat, climate adversity. Seed banks are time capsule stores, that sustain Old species, with chance to spring up again.

Indeed they are, John. Do you think there is a future for humans with cloning and Cryogenics or will humans out evolve themselves. You know, if man in the year say 3000 manages to reproduce a human egg from the 21st century. How different do you think that offspring would be, physically and mentally? Taking in to consideration the rate of technology and the affect it will have on humans?
