Premium Member Thundering Falls

Whirling, whirling, whirling along distinctive paths
originating somewhere farther back, beyond the crest. . .
foaming frenzied water (once but mere faint streams
as placid as our souls before we met)
now travels faster, faster,
gaining in strength and intensity.

Beneath the glow of an amber moon,
we, young lovers, lie where we have fallen
in this jasmine-scented night.
In our rapture, we hear the rushing streams converge
and make their sudden dip.
Thundering, thundering, the frothing water falls. . .

Our hearts, like the streams,
have become as one,
pounding, pounding. . .as the beautiful cascade
plunges
plunges
resounding endlessly inside our heart and mind
this splendid night.

Premium Member the thundering quiet

the slowing of life_
eyes stare beyond this world
oh, the last gasp ~
then, the silence
the thundering quiet
a loved person now becomes "the body"
the soul has left
a stone statue reposes
I weep ...
my grief forever to be

                      Loud
                as thunder
       crashing between clouds-
          it strikes

                  silence-
              deafening lovers
                   after the quarrel

The Grey Is Thundering

(30/11/2013)

It was only white and blue in
the sky
Then the soft grey starting to
replace the white
Over the wind, the blue shooed by
Sun is glad, at home relaxing
with the bright
The then-soft-grey is darker now
White and blue have given
their bow

Again, dark grey has won
Has pulled curtain on the sun
Bluffed and kicked colors to be gone

The thunder is roaring to
celebrate
Feeling sad, the rain is pouring
its cry
Darkest shade of grey,
Rambling in thundering to sing
its victory

Thundering Thoughts - Punny Poem

I know it’s shocking, and you’ll be like “Watt!?” but it’s true and i’m ex-static and you should be too. Light it sink in Faraday or two, don’t be so direct for there are alternative views. Let’s charge towards a higher current, and flow with The Field. Ohm not relatively speaking, we have to heal so wave goodbye to those conditions and give them no further energy, electrify your life transcending entropy. conduct the truth like a Tesla coil, resistance is futile, striking down from the divine- if you only knew the magnificence of 3, 6, and 9. It won’t divert, or subvert to the outskirts, the truth Herz. Once you understand the gravity of the situation you’ll transform your habituation to one of productivity, synchronicity and synergy. No re-Morse or regrets, peace be with you for infinity.

In Sky's Thundering Heart

Within high airy clouds,
   No dust chokes the throat;
   Sails a white rising boat,
Far below dark shrouds
   Covers evil that gloats!

In sky's thundering heart,
   Upon a majestic throne;
   A soul weeps so alone
And prays for another start
   Not cutting in the bone.

With a violent airy rush,
   Storm gives relief;
   From pained broken belief,
Rises a calm, loving hush.

Within this fine blessing,
   A song soon graces,
   Smiles on those faces,
Of two lovers confessing;
   Missteps in saddened paces

Within high airy clouds,
   No dust chokes the throat;
   Sails a white rising boat,
Far below dark shrouds
   Cover evil that gloats!

Thundering Sky

Lightning after flash
                                      thundering sky threatening
                                            Ice melts in to drops

A silence
Drawing
Drudging
Driving
Drumming
Drilling
Louder than
A drone
Rushing like a river
A mill
A power plant
In a hurry
Wild with fury
Roaring past
Resounding
Late for the
End of time

Premium Member A Thundering Reflection

Rocky Mountain Thunder they call it
The unmistakable thunder and growl
of thousands of Harley's reverberating
through the highcountry fairgrounds,
               shockwaves rippling the air.
this was the year it would finally happen...
                   ...my Tattoo
Gleaning through hundreds of designs
my heart leapt at the sight of
            a dainty little hummingbird
              small, tasteful, unobtrusive
                 my hearts' joy and delight!
When a voice, gruff and gravelly from
too many years of cigarettes and rot gut whiskey
whispered over my shoulder
"A tattoo should reflect your soul"
I turned to find myself face to face
with chocolate brown eyes in a leathery, wind tanned face
                        ours eyes locked briefly
He turned away without another word.
Three skulls spanned his shoulders
One facing right, the other facing left
as if searching for something, or someone...
...the one in the center, facing forward, almost grinning,
the words "Lost Soul" written within
a Harley emblem below the skulls,
reflected the whistful look I had seen in his eyes.
I watched as he walked away,
while the three skulls and that emblem
seemed to change shape with every step
melting into one big grinning skull
His words echoed in my ears,
                   "...reflect your soul"
                   "...reflect your soul"
Then, they wrapped around my heart
                 ...My Hummer..!
I knew I had found the right one for me.
And in that same moment,
       the skull on his back....

                        ...winked.

Rain and Snow

RAIN AND SNOW
I hear the sky thundering,
And the clouds weeping,
The clouds are draining sorrow and refilling joy
While we all on the earth enjoy .
Now the clouds have gone and the sun is shining brightly,
And has the rainbow rightly.
Now it has gone and the clouds have come ,
But it did not rain.
(I thought of making this the poems refrain.)
But nevertheless it snowed,
And joy from our hearts flowed.
Here was the first snow perfectly timed
We had a snow fight as the Christmas bells chimed,
Soon we went to our homes,
And out to play came the snow gnomes.
And as again I hear the sky thundering,
And the clouds weeping,
I remember the day I had so much fun,
When I was young and cared only for fun.

Premium Member Thundering Blunderbuss

Thundering Blunderbuss!
What is a platypus?
Looks like a beaver, but
Has a duck's bill.

Fairly cute little guy,
Ornithorhynchidae*
Lives in Australia, is
On the no-kill.

Semi-aquatic and
Strangely neurotic, it
Lays eggs like birds and has
Venom like snakes.

Weirdly amphibious,
Bio-fluorescent fur
Webbing between the toes,
Strong swimmers make.

Technically, this is a Didactic Double Dactyl
since it’s full of educational goodies too.
A double dactyl is a form of McWhirtle, but
apparently, it is also a form of black death.
Switching to the McWhirtle on a hunch, lol.

*6 syllables, rhymes with ‘guy’ (like or-ni-tho-rin-ke-die)

Thundering Heard

I feel fairly lucky,
for where I am.
even yell out my name loudly,
for who I am.
so what! if I crave,
for a little attention.
I won't stop to rave,
though I won't have your affection.
not content at being the lightening,
and fade into the darkness later.
I want to be thundering,
heard after (I am gone).
