Best Take Care Poems
Today is all we need worry about
Tomorrow will take care of itself
Yesterday is gone, no changing that
Good advice for our mental health
So many factors can influence us
And create a mood we can't hide
Being strong in the face of adversity
Shows strength of character inside
The news of the day is ugly at best
Depressing as world news can be
It can make or break the kind of day
So ignore it and set your heart free
Intestinal fortitude is what we need
Nothing more extraordinary than that
To face head on the challenges to come
Move forward, let nothing distract
Before closing I feel I must add
It's in everyone's power to succeed
Intestinal fortitude and a strong desire
Once you have planted the seed
Today is all we need worry to about
Tomorrow will take care of itself
These days my home is a disaster where no neatness is mastered.
For years I did the spic and span scene for a spouse who notices
only the TV screen and our part alien, completely annoying teens.
I eventually deciphered my efforts made none of them nicer or wiser.
I realized that to remain a cleanliness and organizer striver would sooner than later require I take a daily tranquilizer.
In time, I learned my bed was quite a smart desire and the
art of long naps was my perfect mood equalizer. So, why brood
over other family member's feelings when my own felt nicer.
There was a time when dust bunnies reduced me to shame
but, now they’re just fluffy cuties that I individually name.
Whereas I once frequently behaved like a total grump
because all treated our dining table like the local dump,
I now idly ponder when the pile will style a solid ceiling thump.
Home-nest chores of potential upset-tests no longer interest my
new style, but soaking in the tub attracts my delight worthwhile.
My bathroom has become my private, pampering isle.
Magazines to thoroughly savor, tempt me in a dream-flavored pile.
Within that little room I’m managing a pampering cocoon.
Once upon my stress time, I would be cryin’ over clothes
not ironed and family tried neither soothing or inspiring me.
These days my ironing policy is that such is pure folly
and that only laundered attire need be desired. I no longer
grow vacuum sore ‘cause rooms are too trashed for dirt to hit floors.
I am learning to keep my child-like, spontaneous smile
despite any and all house or family trials.
If in this lesson I succeed, that’s all I really, truly and mostly need.
I wish to live and love centered in a state of relaxed
‘cause that’s where my spic and span are truly at.
Take care of the matter now
You are going to run out of time
Opportunities will go away
And you will be left in a bind
A whirlwind will form
Along with massive confusion
There will be a state of turmoil
A dark scenery with frustration
God Will Take Care Of You!
Whatever struggles or trials you’re going through.
God has already promised to take care of you!
Whatever situation you’re in...
Maybe there’s “no way out.”
God remains faithful! This is what he’s all about!
Perhaps it seems like all you’ve tried has failed you!
God is here right now!
His works surround you!
The situations in life that you may face you…
God is there! He is powerful and he loves you!
Won’t you invite him in, to take control?
And allow his peace and joy to fill your soul?
Everything that you need! He has provided!
His desire to help you,
has already been decided!
You can trust him to take care of your problems!
Whatever they are… He can solve them!
God’s word remains solid and is a true foundation!
His words speak peace to any difficult situation!
The awesomeness of God rings loud and clear!
He’s here to help! He’s always near!
He’s someone you can give your trust and believe in!
His blessings in your life... You can receive them!
He’s here right now … Won’t you call on his name?
With him in your life…
Things will never be the same!
He’ll bring sweet peace and joy deep within.
He will always be the one you can truly depend!
All praise, glory and honor to God above.!
Please touch us with your mercy, grace and love!

I'll take care of your heart,
Till we put the pieces back in place and love away the scars.
I'll take care of your heart,
Till we are tired of the night sky and counted all the stars.
I'll take care of your heart,
Till the world goes dark and the sun refuses to shine.
I'll take care of your heart,
Forever, if you'll take care of mine.

< Once there were two monkeys in a tree
Abandoned by their own family
A hunting they did go
Bananas they did tow
For munching while watching the show glee
Singing and dancing to happy tune
Along came an hugh frigging monsoon
Wiping out daily stock
Grapes bananas what crock
What's next grooming by pack of baboons

“Take care of yourself first.”
That’s what we told my mama
When my daddy had his strokes.
Seven long years by his side,
Caring for his body, paralyzed.
Fearing for her health we said:
“You can’t take care of daddy
Till you care for yourself first.”
That’s what we told my mama,
Until my daddy died in 1985.
“Take care of yourself first.”
That’s what I told my wife
When her mom’s simple operation
Became a septic laceration.
As she tirelessly cared for mom
I feared for her well-being.
“You can’t take care of mom
Till you care for yourself first.”
That’s what I told my wife,
Until her mom passed on in 2011.
“Take care of yourself first.”
That’s what my wife told me
As my mama slowly wasted away,
Physically, mentally, emotionally.
And we willingly provided the
Loving care that she deserved.
“You can’t take care of mama
Till you care for yourself first.”
That’s what my wife told me,
Until my mama left the scene in 2015.
Take care of yourself first
When you experience the worst,
For if you fall apart, for certain
You’ll be someone else’s burden.
Don’t let anyone
say there is no way
for you to do what
you truly want. Go
do that thing today.
Read a book, see
a show; visit
a place you meant
one day to go.
Make yourself
happy. This
you must do.
Each day -
pamper
YOU.

Room full of people, how could I be lonely?
these days it's harder than ever to find a true homie,
I'm trying to keep a grip, but I'm losing it slowly,
filling our voids with mediums of instant gratification,
how do you not see the ramifications?
we've been desensitized and overstimulated
our thoughts and subconscious inculcated
by news feeds, timelines, snapchats, and the latest,
pseudo friendships masking this hiatus,
can we talk about something besides other people?
it would be different if it were positive, but it always seems to be fecal,
do you realize the power of your thoughts and words? gossip is lethal,
where's the smart girls at? I'm over all these (drunk) barbies
And, i've had enough of the bars and house parties,,
I just wish there were some more options for a social affair,
Don't get me wrong though, I've had more than my fair share
I've been down that path and it reeks of despair
honestly, does this generation even know how to have fun sober?
You can't talk to a girl without a buzz and you expect things to be kosher?
Look, i know we're young, but I won't settle for mediocre,
Don't run from yourself, it's only harder as we get older,
is anyone else with me? or am I just blowing hot air?
put down your phone, turn off the tv, read a book, that's a dare,
i'm nowhere near perfect, I'm just trying to make ya'll aware,
time is so precious, quit wasting it, take care!
Home is where the bricks are,
The warm southern musk
Rafting through the wrought-iron.
"Hebert blew it again,"
They moaned, hurt in the heart,
Ragged from hurricanes.
Find yo way to yo mama's gumbo,
Still warm through the window.
I gave you my heart
Though everyone used to tear it apart
I trusted that you would keep it whole
And that that would be your biggest goal
I let you enter though scared as hell
I allowed you to break through my safe cell
Where I went every time to escape
From every single heartbreak
When I told myself that I refuse to ever open that gate
Yet you came and I opened that gate
And you set me free from all the hate
Months have passed and you kept if safe
From each and every crazy wave
I was convinced that you aren't like the rest
And with no doubt I knew I loved you best
I gave you my heart to keep it safe
Then all of a sudden you became that wave
That hit my heart
Until it felt all ripped apart
What happened to the guy I met and learned to love?
The one I could once completely trust
I wish someday to hold him again
The only question now is when?
When I finally had enough?
And decide to take back my love?
I deserve more than this
And that is what I truly miss
You gave it all once remember
And my life simply couldn't be better
Please take care of my heart and mend it too
Else I HAVE to take it back from you
Through all this and all the rest
Not once have I ever loved you less
Take care of my heart and mend it too
Else I HAVE to take it back from you
Even if it’s the last thing I want to do
I forgive you your mistakes and I don’t love you less,
But this time you really need to give your best.
In God’s loving kindness---
Take care of yourself prayerfully
…settled in His graciousness
While you share His goodness
Of blessings’ bountifulness.
By God’s supreme authority---
Take care of yourself serenely
…acknowledging His Word’s certainty
For you to teach with integrity
His truths’ infallibility.
Through God’s sure direction---
Take care of yourself circumspectly
…upheld by His protection and instruction
Before you help the needy in their affliction
Toward triumphant problem-solution.
With God’s perfect wisdom---
Take care of yourself steadfastly
…guarded by His granted freedom
As you lead others to His kingdom
From vanity’s boredom.
For God’s praise---
Take care* of yourself responsibly
…enclosed in His wondrous grace
In proclaiming the Gospel devoid of doubts’ trace
Testifying about redemption and eternal life’s brace.

Sponsored by Caren Krutsinger; judged on 7/28/2018.
I have searched for truth and wisdom,
And in all that I have found,
The teachings of our savior,
Ring most true and profound,
Take care in what you think,
Take care in what you believe,
Take care in what you share,
Take care in what you receive,
Yes I do know better,
Than to lead others astray,
Whether due to my fears,
Or that of which I am afraid.
I do care what I think,
I do care what I believe,
I do care what I share,
I do care what I receive,
And should my careless words,
Cause you unrest and concern,
I humbly ask forgiveness,
As I face the fire that burns.
For I do care what you think,
I do care what you believe,
I do care what you share,
And I do care what you receive.

Take Care Wally Cleaver
Wally: Watch the hair!
My faculties are under arrest!
I have been subpoenaed by a Board of Inquiry!
Namely, Mr. & Mrs. Parents of OMgoodness Boy!
Begins the questioning! (blah, blah, blah)
Ward: WHY!
Retorts!
Wally: But dad (blah, blah, blah)
Empathetic.
June: Well, why not?
In-kind.
Wally: Well, mom (blah, blah, blah)
Backroom deliberations begin!
Ward: Ohh! Don't give me that look!
June: But my dear he's just a kid?
Ward: I'll even accept the concept of a Billy the outlaw
as there is some hopeful measure of action,
good or bad, but that's not the conclusion you're
drawing is it, sweetheart?
June: I know I've been turning my back on this, and
once I've turned around, there you are, not a
happy camper, our families, friends, and
neighbors, are all staring back at me, so I've
decided to let you deal with him and I'll stand
by whatever the ruling you decide to enact.
Ward: Well, Mr. OMgoodness, we hereby sentence you
to collect all of your electronic devices and game
cartridges and put them in a large box, then
you're going to clean your room, the garage,
and the yard, then mow the lawn, rake the yard,
then water the plants, after you're done, take a
shower and come down for dinner.
Wally: Wow, that's what an execution feels like.
Ward: No, think of it as a life sentence.
Wally: (sigh!)
June: We love you, honey.
Wally: I know that mom.
Ward: Oh, and by the way, I want to see your computer
keyboard in that box and I'll come around when
you're showering to lock it up in the attic.
(Later that night)
Ward: Good night son.
Wally: Good night dad.
June: Good night honey.
Wally: Good night mom.
(Bedroom doors close, and a computer light comes
on as a young MIT wannabe, clicks on settings and
presses "Online Keyboard")
Whatta day! Brutal, just ... brutal!
It'll be a long night ...
Good night Beav!
