Best Submerse Poems

One Veteran's Day

firkins and gherkins and whistles and shoes
cluster bombs, punji stakes, death in the news
choppers chattering
napalm splattering
a carpet bombed mind with asian war blues

cracked vinyl records and medals unworn
black and white photo, ex-soldier unshorn
wheeling chair
graying hair
a beaded necklace with peace sign well worn

tobacco stained fingers shake with a curse
lips pull a drag with help from a nurse
flares ignite
will he fight?
a battle goes cold, memories submerse

wheeled to a corner, he stares at a wall
that others can’t see, for him it is all
locked within
he can’t win
a war without end... unspeakable gall

**I am a nearly seventy year old mother, grandmother, and great grandmother..I enjoy going to the seashore for vacation..I have always enjoyed picking up seashells and wondered if they all had names..Well, there are over 15,000 different kind of sea creatures that live in those shells and some have not been named..

Home Is Where the Ocean Is

Summer is here once again.
The breeze is warm,
I smell salt on the wind.
The same sandy beach between my toes,
The same waters I learned to swim.
Sun burn on my nose,
To the Ocean I dive in.
I submerse myself in the waters of the Atlantic
Warmer than the West Coast Thankfully
Cold, I simply cannot handle it!
Further out I paddle faithfully,
For my mother ocean to keep me sane,
this is my therapy,
to soothe this migraine.
This place gives me energy,
a weakness with a name.
Pleasure Island, NC.
A place hidden with fortunes
and undiscovered fame.
Never could I stray from the ocean
my passions would never be fulfilled
and I would never be the same.

Dedicated to my Dad on Father's Day 2013
The man who introduced me to the ocean and educated me about it and gave me reason to love appreciate and respect it.

Premium Member Deep Within

Lubricate my lips,
venture deep within-
Submerse in nectar.

Romancing Spring

Come to green mother

Naked, willed and wild

Visit the bed of death

Where circles hide

Submerse senses in the newborn

Aroma and cinematography

Tease the skin with warm wind

That tumbles and tingles dry

Cradle the baby’s breath slowly

As it toddles and cries into a bouquet

Beneath a marbleized sun

On the beauty of a bashful April day

Premium Member Snail Boating

Wading the Meramac River near Jesse James’ Cavern with my son…
I espied an adventurer who in stature was so very small to us.
Before me was a snail using a leaf like a catamaran to sail the squalls.
Now birds love to eat snails, and fish love them, too.
So I ask him if what he was doing was truly right for him to do?
Wasn’t it so very dangerous for a small snail, I imparted to my friend?
But he just laughed, and continued to enjoy himself… as off he went again.

He said Life wasn’t made to last forever, he wanted to enjoy it while he can.
Life can throw you for a loop like the motorboats’ wave that just then came in.
It’s all in the adventure, and what you ultimately seek to do.
The fun is in the living, and the excitement of seeing your plans through.
Joy comes from the accomplishments and the stories that later you can tell.
True living comes from besting the elements in any way you can.
It also comes from helping others… and teaching them what you know.
It comes from riding the waters as the waves thrash and the mighty wind blows.
There’ll always be waves and dangers no matter where you’re at.
And I’d rather be here than where I once originally sat.

It started with a flood about to submerse my little twig…
So I climbed on the last leaf and took off just like this, right here, you see.
Then he gave a wave to someone behind me, from where I so solidly stood…
And eight little catamarans came zipping by my legs as quickly as they could.
He ask if I would be so kind as to walk and stir up a few more waves…
So I laughed as I walked around, watching how they were so happily engaged.

This Is the Day the Lord Gave

This is the day the Lord gave…

I will give thanks at all times!
To submerse us in his gladness!!
To anoint our mind with his love and to let his perfect love rest upon it.
To put on the garments of praise and to let his righteousness
Stand in our stead.
To say this is the Lord’s work, it is his doing!
Let us go out in peace!

To let him be the seat in my heart in the noon time!
To let him be stayed upon me at all times!
To give glory, honor and praise to God!
Here on this day on a page in his story!

Today is the day the Lord gave and he will fill it to the brim!
Let the cup run over, Lord, let the cup run over the brim!
Give us your rhema word for we are thirsty!
Give us your bread today, so that we will share it with others!

Today on a page in his story!
Today on the day the Lord has given!
Today on the day he gave us his breath!
Today and everyday he fills our cup!
Let us be joyous and let us always be glad in him!

River Life

Rivulet streaming like a free verse,
the current’s reveal love’s babbling brook-
Branches fallen, my true life’s calling
craving the flow of waterfall's look.
The ebb flow leading me to immerse,
imagination is all it took-
River life captures, blissful raptures,
as the torrent keeps flowing transverse.
I quietly touch the soft texture,
for rain does the gentle river thirst-
Nature’s creation, fabrication,
fascination guides me to submerse.

Ancient Egypt

Nile stretches like serpent from abyss
Because it nourishes the desert it reflects universal bliss
On its shores Cleopatra gave Mark Anthony a kiss
Where she turned a ruler from a princess

That is where the ancient Sphinx whispers riddles of old
Whoever answers them will have more than just gold
This is where God Amun Ra looks down on earth when day is about to unfold
This is where ancient pyramids only surviving ancient wonder are precisely it to behold

The pyramids are a tomb
But this is no place of just death this is a womb
This is no place of gloom
This is place where glory of Pharaohs soul will bloom

For his soul will not simply disperse
But be one with Amun Ra secret and sacred universe
Where with very God pharaoh can converse
And in the eternal light and perhaps ultimate good submerse

This is the culture distant and unique
Having great offering to those who knowledge seek
This culture rose when closeness of suns’ binary star was at its peak
Ancient but advanced pyramid was stepping stone to essence of soul force of which divine winds speak

Galactic Emotion

Is this feeling galactic?
Or simply lactic?
Your presence is celestial
These emotions, extra terrestrial
This feeling is inexplicable
Ignoring it would be despicable
You are my brightest star
I can't imagine you far
for you are the center of my universe
And in my love you shall submerse

Into My Mind

INTO MY MIND

Monochrome images swirl and collide on the surface of my mind,
round and round they go through the loops and coils of my brain.
Slowly they submerse themselves in colour, so much colour more
than in a rainbow.

Every image and sight I have ever seen is in here all waiting to show
themselves when the time is right.
The alcohol I had earlier helped so much to create this massive trip
in my head, I see a billion faces all at once, the power of the human brain
is awesome if only we knew how to use it, people could fly and swim
forever in their minds.

I spiral and glide down the dark alleyways and doors that lead to different
times and feelings all so alive in their own little place.
This is my access to the collective mind of the universe and of everyone
who has ever lived and who ever will.

Distance

Love is the most beautiful thing
But sometimes love can seems ugly
And Love can make you hurt and cry
When you miss the one you love so badly

And you can feel so very empty
And you wish to hold them so much
And they’re so close in your heart’
But you long just to feel their touch

And though it seems to take forever
We know that our day is on its way
When we hold on to each other
Its where forever we will stay?

The way that we love each other
No distance is too far, or time is too long
And though it hurts to be apart.
It only makes our grow more strong

And when we talk on the phone
No one wants to say good bye first
Saying l love you a million times
To see who can say it the most

And waiting is hard but I don’t mind
Will be alone as long as I have to
For I will pay any price if it means
Spending the rest of my life with you

The distance are getting closer
For our love are spreading ever so wide
And you have the power to touch my heart
And bring comfort to me so deep inside

And on the day when we meet
In your love I will be submerse
And will be like a desert traveler
And you’re the water to quench my thirst

And as the magical power of true love
Permanently erodes the distance
The pure simplicity of your touch
Burns the fire of our fairy tale romance

" Hello world to those whom will read this and listen
I sense Tomorrow is the Future...

Best that is to come

Alas, I sense within my sight… devastation among the right
I sense tomorrow an Antichrist shall come, submerse and trick us all
I hear the battle cries, I see the soldiers die saved and unsaved ones
I touch the tattered, dead flesh of the abominated kids
I hear the screams of the mother’s whom runs with their children undercover yet still they nurture
I sense Tomorrow is the Future
Most people will be conclusive
Humanity riddled in pains and pangs
No longer knowing their names
I sense tomorrow an Antichrist shall come, submerse and trick us all
I hear the battle cries, I see the soldiers die saved and unsaved ones
I touch the tattered, dead flesh of the abominated kids
I hear the screams of the mother’s whom run with their children undercover
Animosity, hatred and killings most sisters and brothers, brother to brother
No single food products to eat, unless you receive the mark of the beast
The future is the period of time that will come after the present
Former things that will happen then tomorrow will be happening
I sense Tomorrow is the Future
In it the future I’ll see…
Blood running warm down the streets
I sense Tomorrow is the Future
I’ll hear men, women and children the elderly crying
I sense Tomorrow is the Future
I smell the carnage of burning flesh, that of what’s left
I sense Tomorrow is the Future
I taste the lasting vestige lasting last leaf of Lavender
And upon my eye I look up in the skies
I see the clouds part
As the Lord My Jesus descends from on high
I sense Tomorrow is the Future Now
Alleluia"

Make Me a Subconscious Prophet That Doesn'T Know

Get all your biblical metaphors
all the meanings of angels of justice and death
the names and numbers
and metaphors of meaning of witchcraft
and everything mankind pays attention to
from beasts to prostitutes
and go forth and make them riddles
make them meaningfull journeys of contemplation
only the subconscious can percieve
Like a magician subtly giving away his tricks
never give away the answer to the riddle in all obviousness
but be sure that somehow it can be thought through

With all of these puzzles
I'll submerse myself into meaning and imagery
this language of mans esoteric seeds
of emotions and pleasantries of everything
of divine interventions and life lessons
of buildings that stand tall
of every language culture and creed
I'll read them all
one by one
I'll ponder them all
and sleep them away soo deep
and tomorrow
I will become a prophet of tomorrow
one that doesn't even know

as i follow your lead
of all this imagery
of hot topics
and metaphors everyone disguises
sliding from place to place
I will say the answers to the riddles so openly and honestly
in this spotlight
and the future we're not m,eant to see
we still won't will be revealed
and covered again
and another chapter of where we came together
to uncover mankind's seeds
to slide away innocent
to know nothing
to create a future mystery will have taken place
and this was a part of your writing legacy

your gift to me
my gift to you
and tomorrow we will discover something
and maybe they will do it again
but no one will ever compare to the subconscious pedastools
we are about to achieve!
