Premium Member Rain Streaks Down Window Pane
rain streaks down window pane
 sadness echoes in thunder's roar
 teardrops falling from cloudy eyes
 yet in some distant place
 laughter colors sky with rainbow

Sometimes In silence
I question citrine stars~
what streams beneath
murky waters,
Is hope still flowing
through rusty ripples,
why do we live
in an orb
of sheer blindness,
would the wind
ever seize tunnels
behind the black hole,
or are we destined
to narrate novels
too narrow and unseen
for the naked eyes.
Whilst the earth...

Exciting... inviting...
   Skywriting...
Anticipation's wing
   Horizon's swing

Eyes peeled on the Heavens
   Murky darkness imperceptibly
                    whitening...
Lighter, lighter
   Brighter, brighter

Streaks of...

Streaks of daylight
	bouncing off colored glass
dancing bobbles of light
 	splash across the wall

Streaks of sunlight
	streaming through the prism
dancing rainbows of light
	splashed across the hall

Streaks of twilight
	twinkling through the tears
dancing with merriment
	splashed across your smile...

Lightning Streaks
The lightning, it was over bright,
streaks through dark clouds and thunder sounds;
exposing itself —enchanting.
The lightning, it was over bright,
with imminent incandescence—
a ravishing sight on the grounds.
The lightning, it was over bright,
streaks through dark clouds and thunder sounds...

Red Streaks
Red streaks
I brush you onto my canvas
What will you become?

Red streaks
On another canvas
What have I become?

My paint drips like blood
So familiar
All too familiar

A droplet caresses my forearm
So many red streaks
Past and present

Red streaks
Some to create
Some to destroy...

These Streaks
I clear these streaks
so none can tell,
Your quiet breath
adorns each word

I pause all darkness
for any willing peace
I pierce each soul
...and still look for you...

STREAKS OF FIRE
only dust
    remains
 no life on display
an infernal hell

farewell hope
   blackened
        within
a tarnished cause
         compromised
beneath its glow

this rendezvous
 perseveres
         a sympathy
 to carry forth
undeterred
   intent to divest
& manifest
    but yet
survive
as a famished shroud
of vehement dissent
            to the wrath
that once
         was worn

THIS IS AN OPEN(organic) FORM VERSE without grammatical symbols the ' open' relies upon 'the one breath limitation' & so inherently requires the 'reader' (reciter) to input and respond thus making the form a two way interplay and often a unique interpretation by...

Streaks of Green
she climbed a big man
hoping to be suffocated by flesh
and not have to think
you can't rescue everyone her husband said
wisely
he turned and walked to the barn
leaving her with streaks of green
on her face...

Dull Blue With Light Streaks of Gray
Depression is a dull blue with light streaks of gray.
It feels like sitting motionless for hours.
It sounds like the never-ending plunk of water falling from a spigot.
It tastes like stale bread with placid water.
It smells like dry colorless chalk.
It looks like a still pool under...

Two Streaks
Two streaks mark my week,
Claw at my lungs, skies look bleak,
Cast me down a viral inferno!
Fahrenheit 105 but without the yellow

Fever and dilemmas poison my bones
Echoes of madness within their hollows
I hit the hay early and the sun rays burn weak
My eyes sting with nakedness...

Streaks of Grief
Haunted by whispering calls ~ a torn leaf lifts its soul to the sad sky

snowflakes streak gazes…
infant endeavours are made~
muting icy words
slipping in the honest frost…
sorrow seeps upon spirits

grieving
ebony eyes~
wrath simmers a cold soul,
mind stranded in a cyclone haze…
anguish

 Forms of poetry;...
