Streaks of Fire
STREAKS OF FIRE
only dust
remains
no life on display
an infernal hell
farewell hope
blackened
within
a tarnished cause
compromised
beneath its glow
this rendezvous
perseveres
a sympathy
to carry forth
undeterred
intent to divest
& manifest
but yet
survive
as a famished shroud
of vehement dissent
to the wrath
that once
was worn
THIS IS AN OPEN(organic) FORM VERSE without grammatical symbols the ' open' relies upon 'the one breath limitation' & so inherently requires the 'reader' (reciter) to input and respond thus making the form a two way interplay and often a unique interpretation by the enigma so derived
