My Soul Is Stirred

I read Your Word
my soul is stirred

Father God, I present this plea
how can mere words have such impact?
The light comes on and that’s a fact
which puts men’s thoughts to inquiry.

How can mere words have such impact?
You formed the world with “Let there be…”
Christ spoke to winds and calmed the sea
The light comes on and that’s a fact.

I read Your Word
How can mere words have such impact?
unless your Spirit speaks to me
The light comes on and that’s a fact.
my soul is stirred

my soul is stirred
I read Your Word

======================
If I have just one more drink
(slightly stirred but never shaken),

I can drown them. They will sink,
if I have just one more drink.

This time they'll stay down, I think
and for once, I will awaken

(if I have just one more drink),
slightly stirred, but never shaken.

In Tenebrific Night I Stirred

"Darkness is but a door, scary not because it opens,
but out of fear that it will never close."
                                                by: Johnathan Jena

In darkness, I sleepily stirred, petrified with fright
at the sound of raucous roaring beasts in the night
Creepy things crawled on me. I shivered at the sight
A bell tolled as demons tried to tear apart my heart
I floated on a stygian river, troubled by my thought
watching a specter aiming at me with a deadly dart

Phantoms danced on my bed until my pulse grew weak
My wretched end was near. My death they'd soon seek
In gloom of this macabre scene, voices began to speak
Ghouls wailed and pounded upon the bedroom walls
I cowered when werewolves howled within the halls
In this tenebrific nightmare, I heard thunderous footfalls

My teeth were chattering as the house began to shake
more violently than a volcanic eruption or an earthquake
Before my burial song would be sung, I prayed to wake
There was a deafening crash from just outside my door
I was near the point of fainting, then woke upon the floor
Beside me lay the crumpled page of Poe's sweet 'Lenore."

Crabo Stirred Up a Hornet's Nest

Crabo stirred up a hornet's nest
Called up Vespa for music fest
                                                Vespa bit the bullet
                                               Crabo braised a pullet
Faced the music they were so stressed

Shaken Not Stirred

i Was never looking for love
i Was never a big fan of it really?
cause i see a lot of lucky people has it
but they don’t treat it fairly

Some use love as a weapon
to cheat and bring a lot of grieve
And the more love they receive
their appreciation for it decrease

I meet a girl and fall in love
But she just didn't concurred
So now although my heart broken
I’m just shaken not stirred

Every one I know, says to me
You are really a very nice guy
But to love I’m just the one
who Can’t find it no matter how I try?

Life has so many roads to travel
and not every one will reach the end
we go on with our life's not knowing
what awaits us around the bend

So right now I can’t see the future
My visions are still very blurred
But I will never give up on love
Because I’m just shaken not stirred

There’s some one for every one
That’s what’s I keep on believing
And if you to closes your heart
Love would not be able to walk in

i try to tell her that i love her
but my words become slurred
and i watch my hope of love
flying away like a bird

So I will always love this girl
with the sweetest voice I've ever heard
And No one will know I’m hurting
Because I’m just shaken not stirred

I always been a fan of James bond
Think he’s a very smooth character
With his cool charming domineer
So it’s him I try to model my self after

So while many are losing patience
Some will even use a bad word
Me I will be cool as James bond
with a martini shaken not stirred

Soup Creek Toasts
Marmite cocktails are delicious I've heard
They are the hippest cocktails being served
So to raise a toast
Tell Jenna the host
Mayor Tom's sure to be shaken and stirred.

Just Ice Shaken Not Stirred

What is a word what do you re call
When reading or writing it
Does it mean any thing at all
One definition of justice is fairness
Many say no such thing exists
Or maybe you didn’t shine
You didn’t top the lists
At that all important interview
Where you didn’t show your best
Whichever way you read it
You didn’t pass the test
Is justice ever dealt with satisfactory
Conveying innocence as their plea.
Felons would wholeheartedly disagree.,

I'Ve Been Shaken But Rarely Stirred

I've been used and abused, mistreated and mislead,
so many times before, it's wonder I'm not dead.
Been thrown downstairs, pushed through the door
knocked out a window, flattened on the floor.

Been raped and defiled, bled from wounds made,
the cuts that bled soundlessly, those scars did fade.
Life hasn't been great, but I've never bailed...
I've fought to the end, and my life has prevailed.

I am a survivor, and I always land on my feet.
I don't put up with ******** found on the street.
I'll never give in, never give up, never stay down;
I'll keep doing what it takes, to make my life sound.

You think you can beat me, you better watch out!
I'll fight to the finish, I'll beat you no doubt,
cause I am still alive and I got what it takes
to make sure I survive without any mistakes.

Who Stirred Troubles In Paradise?

He heard of a Halloween party
being held in Paradise,
so with incredible speed
he was bound for Heaven...
regardless of the outcome!

Would God ever allow a fallen angel...
enter those gates, where holiness reigned?
Satan had to invent clever tricks,
or he would never participate as others did...
and wouldn't God Himself have recognized him?

Well-groomed and fetched in his attire
as a meek monk in brown tunic...
he resembled the authentic friar
whose purpose was to disrupt harmony...
would he have suceeded or failed?

And indeed he succeeded in his foul plan
by turning all the guests against one another!
Cupcakes, sugar apples and lollipops went flying...
as they were tossed with harmful intention!
Who ever hear of troubles in Paradise?

Angels notified God of such daffy behavior,
demand everyone to apologize to their angry God...
how would Satan hide his disguise facing the Omnipotent?
Had he considered the consequences of his foolish disarray?
Yes, he did with a plan carrying out vengeance!

" I have welcomed everybody to join this party,
but someone has caused disorder and confusion!"
God rebuked the gathered crown looking somber.
" The guilty one come forward!" He ordered enraged.
There's was a stillness more profound than peace itself!

Out of the debating crowd, a monk stepped out,
walking slowly...afraid of facing the wrathful face of the Almighty.
" Say your name!" God requested little sympathetic.
" My name is Satan...the disobedient angel whom You expelled!"
" It was beacuse of your envy that I did that!" God replied.

"Once again, I've tried to defeat You with my craftiness,
and failing I have realized how mighty You still are!" Satan admitted.
" I will leave this holy place, unworthy of my cunning deed!"
And in saying so, Satan departed with a disappointed, saddened look.
Why didn't God accurse him? Was his time at hand?

My feelings a blend of the best berries,
But leaving me all alone to spoil,
Just means it’s your own fault
For making me the most sour I can be.

My mind a source of essential nutrients,
But leaving me all alone in the ark,
Just means you’ll have lost someone
Who once nurtured you better than others.

The last days and the bright sunshine setting
You can see the stars in fading sunlight.
When the sun fades, moonlight lever shining.

Not as mates, more as buddies we're waiting.
Not just cautious buddies or close friends sight.
The last days and the bright sunshine setting

Wildlife takes time and quaint is quieting.
Birds nest in treetops as cascade the night.
When the sun fades, moonlight lever shining.

Don't miss this time; on my shoulder leaning.
Autumn leaves turn auburn and frost soon bright.
Ending day and glaring sun are setting.

Stick together like a blade storm darling.
When the moon moves, the sunlight remains white.
When the sun fades, moonlight lever shining.

Laugh when you write about river bending.
You and I in each other's eyes peering.
The last days and the bright sunshine setting.
When the sun fades, moonlight lever shining.
