There is something about matter
that keeps me spellbound,
enamored to its most exquisite blooms,
oceans, forests and mountain streams.
It holds who I am, gives me shape
and form, a home, a place in which
this awareness within me
can live out a life and from which
I have grown.
I am in awe of its compositions,
in love with its colors, perfumes
and sounds, the touch of warm skin
and the sweet taste of freshly
harvested fruit. All is matter.
It is a source of pleasure and joy
and yet inflicts equal measure
of suffering through loss and pain.
But what is matter
when scaled down
to its essence….mere particles
that can be smashed apart
to decay into ghostly spirals.
Is this all I am, a quantum
equation at my core. Or is it
a Creator's gift, the stuff
born out of the act
of a conscious mind, eternal
in some mysterious way.
And so it is with me,
beside the beloved river taking in
the last light of the day.
Full of hope and doubt
I see this lovely world slowly
slipping away and wonder
whether if this is all there is
and nothing more
or will I awake from this dream
as I may have done so many
lifetimes before.
Realization & The World Religions
Christianity
Petro—Peter means stone
Jesus made a pun:
Upon this stone I build my church
Unto you I give the keys to the Kingdom
Hence Peter—The First Pope
Jesus “He is my Rock and Salvation”
Judaism
The Mitzvah—God blesses every good deed
The Buddha
sits under a bode tree,
Surrounded by swirling forces of greed,
temptation, and evil intent
Desires which are the source of all suffering
Through meditation he extinguishes these desires
like he would a fire
What remains is the pure,
ecstatic bliss of endless, inextinguishable love
Krishna’s Dance
represents the lifeforce constant change and flux
The vital, joyous force,
casting off our collective part of painful illusion,
and sweeping us ever onward in an endless, journey—Nirvana
Islam
Allah—The One and only God—Allah is good
Muslims worship the God of Noah, Abraham,
Moses, David and Jesus
Peace be upon them all.
However, it is certainly true that Jews,
Christians and Muslims
all have different concepts of
Almighty God
Realization
From my deepest self I reveal
an emotional rapture of the combined sacred oneness
Enamored in love is how I truly feel
note: Monotheistic religion starts at the core wherein one
God created the world and its people because He loved them!
Polytheistic religions also have love at their core.

The noise of the day
has subsided and folded
into a quiet
under the soft covers
of a July evening.
The eyes seem to resist
the particular and instead
focus on nothing
but the sum - the glow
from shore lights
smudged on water,
the dark sky powdered
with translucent clouds
and the faint filaments
of stars strung out overhead.
Tonight, I don't want
the granular detail of things
to steal my attention
but to enjoy the blending,
the stand back meld
of colors, of each stroke,
forming a picture transcending
its parts. I want to feel
the evening being
put together
into a boundless whole,
to be beyond
the smallness of myself
and be absorbed totally
into the mystery
of the composition
What if the world is full of love
Accepting of God's message arising from above
What if the world is full of laughter
Knowing there exists a glorified hereafter
What if the world is full of truth
Fills the minds of all the youth
What if the world declared no more nasty wars
Much healing to amend all divisive people flaws
What if the world now all together as community
With each other develop affectionate perpetuity
What if the world lives in harmony with nature
Ascendance of the soul enhanced a joyous stature
What if the world is full of happy smiling faces, brows no longer furrowed, worried
A gentle pace of movement in a world no longer hurried
What if the world is full of kindness supporting when we fall
A world that's full of freedom allowing each proudly to walk tall
What if the world fulfils untapped loving potential
What if all the what ifs morphed becomes existential
WHAT IF.........
To be blessed
May the Lord Almighty set me free
To peacefully pace in His island’s lee
When the vice storms in a lusty surge
And Eden earth is thrashed with its scourge
When ethics to the right, to the left, adrift
And loosely swings in the tiring rift
When trains of thoughts on logic cease
And apothegms of love are trampled apiece
When war and war and war and no peace
And themes of strife are the best release
When peacemakers procrastinate
And terms of truce wholly terminate
When vacant words are in phoniness drenched
And policy pageants of the world are clenched
When nations forswear ingenuous deeds
And on travesties their heartache feeds
When hearts are sullied by Lies and Sins
And eyes deny afflicted beings
When stingy hands, know none to lend
And on vagrant feet sufferings descend
When man misdoubts “where is the Lord”?
And “when will He drum his heavenly chord”?
I pray to the Lord to set me free
For a blessed soul, I wish to be
Someday I’ll sit and talk with Father Adam.
He will have the answers to some things that bother me
I’ve seen the world in all God’s awesome splendor
And I’ve known God’s precious gift of living free.
He will appear to be much older than pictures drawn by man
And remember, we never saw him as a child.
What was the discontent that altered his intent
And brought all mankind out of Eden to the wild?
I have seen the pain of being shackled
And many ruthless tyrants’ atrocities.
I’ve witnessed all the wrongs that sometimes come along,
When people cannot live together peacefully.
I’ll see concerns on Adam’s furrowed brow,
That eons haven’t erased, somehow.
I will hear him as he wonders how
The world became what it is now.
I’ll ask him all about his family
And just how all this came to be.
The beauty of man’s home in Eden
Has turned into the chaos you now see.
We’ll have the time to answer the questions history brings
But, somehow, we cannot approach the one that bothers me.
So, I’ll clear my throat, take one deep breath,
And ask, so innocently,
“If you had known what the effect would be
Would you have eaten the fruit from that damn tree?”

We live in a changing world
even within our own lifetime
so much has not remained same
nobody's safe with so much crime
God created this world for good
so man could enjoy its fruit
but sinful man's ruined it all
with evil and selfishness it's root
There's no respect for man or beast
profit fills man's heart as number one
youngsters don't respect the elderly
so chaos reigns everywhere bar none
What God must think of this
looking down from heaven above
at all the mess it's become
breaking His heart of sovereign love
But His judgement is approaching
it seems so very near
when wrongs are put right
then God will reign that is clear

Imagine a world where nothing matters
Think about it for a second, really
No questions like, was it worth it anymore
Not seeing the point of a world in tatters
Consider; if no one felt any fear
And people with confidence and no doubt
If they carried their dreams above themselves
Knowing how useless, all that they hold dear
Envision this world of variety
A kaleidoscope that creates a self
Picture each individual lonely
But deep inside there is homogeny
Day after day the cosmos continues
Then a final day where nothing matters

Quiet allows me to see..
all around me, everything..
gluttony, kindness, hypocrisy..
all at once, knowing.
In silence one is with Spirit.
In silence one can learn.
Why then all the world noise?
Can't you see your bridges burn?
They babble and babble and babble on
while i quietly observe.
They hustle, plot, help or scam..
I see clearly what they serve.
Disgusted with some, Delighted with others.
Everything around is Not as it first appears.

In the middle of the universe, I stand
Writing verse but canst understand
What shall I choose for my muse?
For there are a plenty to choose
The stars and constellations scattered
The sky vast, oceans watered
Earth with a green hue shine
Where upon live me and mine
Day and night take turns
In blessing this place that churns
Resonance of life so blessed
By man it canst be messed
For he is the one to decide
To forgive and forget the pride
It is of him I must write
Who hath created this sight
Of beauty and blessings divine
Which aint for us to define
In the middle of the universe, I stand
As understanding dawn in my mind

I want a world;
where no children suffer.
Where there is no hunger.
No children are harmed.
I want a world;
free of hate.
Free of greed.
Free of racism.
I want a world;
where there are no wars.
Where unity is law.
And spirits are healed.
I want a world;
Where humanity is common.
Where cruelty is rare.
Where love is unconditional.
I want a world;
Where truth is spoken.
Lies are forbidden.
Deceit is unheard of.
I want a world;
Where women are respected.
Where they are equal.
Where they are cherished.
I want the world that the Great Spirit gave us.

Well there are many, many
portals and gateways from
this world of the living to
the WORLD UNSEEN
where demons and ghosts
walk among us not only
in the night but in the
daytime too...
Could be they've attached
themselves to you just
because they find you some
kind of an amusing new
kind of plaything and you
are familiar with the occult
and the oui, well don't you
know it is a portal, a gateway
for them and then the haunting
begins, cold spots and goose
bumps on your skin disembodied
voices telling you to do bad
things and your stuff has been
moved from one room to another
again...
You hear wicked laughter behind
you, you turn around to find no one
there, could be because of you're
a sensitive and wise in the ways of
the occult, no wonder they find you
an amusing little plaything but then
again it can happen to any of us
demons and ghosts are here, there
and everywhere 'cuz there are many,
many, many portals and gateways
from the land of the living to the
WORLD UNSEEN!
I live in a world of my own,
My image, carved in stone,
No one else can touch what I see,
I dream alone, my home within me.
I play upon mountain tops, and jump off steep cliffs,
My world splashes colour, and constantly shifts,
I dream with eyes awake, in light,
And walk on starlit shores by night.
Imagination is my right, and the essence of my being,
And constantly my mind betrays the truth in what I’m seeing.
Body seated, face a stare,
You’d never know that I’m not there.
Alone we wake, and free we rest,
Join me and dream, about life’s best.
Don’t be afraid to fall from the sky,
If life’s a dream, you can never die.
So the next time you’re sitting, bored and alone,
Exist in bliss, for life, is your throne.
It is Christmas time, for what do I wish;
For what hope or dream does my soul anguish?
Is something from my list under the tree;
Something chosen especially for me?
I wonder what good things we’ll have to eat.
Apple cake with walnuts would be a treat.
Some peanut brittle or chocolate fudge,
In pecan pie with whip cream I’ll indulge.
I’ll hope to have my family gathered around
Opening gifts making a paper mound.
We’ll take a drive, enjoy tinsel and lights,
Make memories as we gaze on the sights.
Yet midst the holiday laughter and cheer
There are lonely masses living in fear.
Poor, worried, abused, tired, haggard, and spent
In search of cash to buy food and pay rent.
Where is hope for these lives torn and shattered;
Who live each day, depressed, weak, and scattered?
Perhaps abused by those proud and greedy,
Who use their labor yet leave them needy.
God promises good things to these oppressed,
His merciful love will not be suppressed.
The wealth of the rich will be adjusted,
God’s balancing justice can be trusted.
Others are trapped in our sin sick culture
Where dark sadness hovers like a vulture.
Guilty of trespassing, hence they must pay.
With so large a debt they wilt in dismay.
Is there hope for these who have misbehaved?
Is there any way their souls can be saved?
Is help on the way? Then let’s hear the story!
Tell me please, is there a word from glory?
Yes, to these lost, broken, sinful forgotten,
God sent his son, His only begotten.
From the crib to the cross his life he gave,
All our mistakes and failures He forgave.
We need not perish in this world of strife,
But with faith in Jesus have eternal life.
God sent His Son, the world not to condemn.
It’s Christmas, may the world be saved through Him.
I Thought Of You Today

I thought of you today,
Which I do everyday,
But today was special
Because we had blue
Skies and the sun was
Shining, it made me
Think of you.
I thought of you today I
Wonder if are proud of
Me and the decisions that
I have made.
I thought of you today
I wonder what this
World would be like
if you Were still here today.
I thought of you today
I wish you were here
Because of all the
Crazy things going on.
I thought of you today,
I miss the letters, notes,
And the fishing trips
We took.
I thought of you today,
And all the things we
Use to do like Camping,
Swimming, talking,
Watching TV together,
Playing cards, and
Playing Dice.
I thought of you today,
And I realized we had
It all when you were
Around and now that
You are gone it's not
The same.
I thought of you today,
I also realized that there
Are a lot of you I did not
Get to meet, but I hope
You liked me.
I thought of you today,
And I know that the
Greatest gift God gave
Me is for me to have
Had you all in my
Life.
I thought of you today,
I love you and I miss
You all.
I thought of you today,
And realized that you
Did me a favor by
Allowing me to
Know you all.
I thought of you today.
