AMERICAN DREAMS SMASHED TO SMITHEREENS

Miss American pie has a dream -
whipped cream of tijuana brass.

Groovy tunes quit on smoking grass.
Frisbee LP like steaming saucers crash.

The homecoming court is plastered.
What could possibly be the matter?

Moon rockets in flight, rock me all night baby.
There were stars in my eyes, as lala land denied.

In my crib the beatles rock me to sleep,
while Tate’s fetus stares at the Helter Skelter light.

Smashed Up Smarties

smoking pot,
drinking 'MORGAN'
its done alot,
but no one cares
at the parties,
he smashes smarties
people laugh and dare him to.
he inhales deeply
he dose it freely
nobody forced him to
he starts coughing
pot heads mocking
his insane poposterious stunt
he grabs a can
out of his best friends hand
in an attempt to get it out
fake 'homemade' coke,
and his shirt beer soaked,
he heads home wih fear
that his mother might hear
him come in his window,
his girlfreind waits
to take her place
held tight in his arms
little did she know,
that he was stoned
and out parting all night.
he put up a fight
to say that he had a right
to be free for once in his life.
If you would have known him
before i started this poem
you would know how romantic
 and careing
and shareing
and wonderful he was.

Quit My Job, Smashed My Car

Quit my job, smashed my car
My back does throb, need to learn guitar

So I can make, a silly song
And I can sing, it all day long
About how, my God is strong
So that even now, nothing’s wrong

Even though, I quit my job
smashed my car, my back does throb

Life is hard, but I’ve got God
So I won’t let any thought
Any worry or fear
Convince me you’re not near

Even when, I quit my job,
Smashed my car, my back does throb
Life is hard, but I won’t sob
I need to learn guitar

Smashed

This heart for you is filled with
love
But this heart with you is burnt
with fire
So harsh these feelings are
shattered
So hard I convinced you to stay
And so heartless u put me
astray
Could it be the way I walk that
makes u push me away
Or is it the way I smile that
makes you insane
All I ever did was to love you
With the essence of heart, I
needed you, your compassion
and loyality would do
All I ever wanted was you to
hold my hand, assure me I'd fall
right into your arms
But all you did was to smash my
love right into my face, I tried
so hard to let you see through
my eyes that with you by me
I'm complete, that loving you
meant heaven on earth, that
aint no other shoulder could
have been better to lean on
But still my love was never
returned

Smashed Within My Glass Heart

It was when the bowl
smashed,
and my hands slackened

I knew

lips were moving
a throat was talking nothing
and my eyes were seeing
what my ears could not follow

the ties that bound
had been cut

as each piece of glass
shattered into moments
of every second we shared,
a ripple went through
the tableau of my life

changing its geography
forever

my blood pours to smash
chambers of memories
and as the cymbals of your life
clash its finale

your arms are lost
and out of my reach

the knot unbinds

that first touch
the one that said no matter what?
is now sleeping
where no shadows fall

Smashed Reflection

The parody of caring
Is sentimental love—
When bliss becomes despairing,
It crashes from above.

Love’s mirror no more pleases
With smiles as once before—
It shatters into pieces…
Sharp shards upon the floor.

I Smashed My Head Against the Wall Today

I smashed my head against a wall today.
I hit it against the concrete until it bruised and now I bleed.
I’m just so damn confused and I can barely eat.
I smashed my head against a wall today.

I cut my face with a blade today.
Right above my eye.
The blood falls down my face like tears.
I love this feeling… this feeling right here.
I know this feeling is not a lie.
I cut my face with a blade today.

I planned my own funeral in my head today.
I decided I don’t think I’ll have one.
Viewing my body wouldn’t be any fun.
Please don’t think about me when the day has come.
I go to sleep dreaming of a loaded gun.

I want to die today.
Everyday.

I feel everything yet nothing at all.
I feel so small.
I smashed my head against the wall.

Smashed Like a Sandwich

Memo time
I was stopped in mid traffic
with my daughter inside of my van
Then all of sudden
A car came from behind
Hit.. smashing right into us..

As then my van
was thrown
Into the car infront
of us...

There was nothing I could do
To stop... this from happening
smashing Us like in a Sandwich

As I memo..
My daughter
Praise God
She was fine
Then I heard a man state
I am truly sorry for tis was my mistake
I hit the excellerator instead of the brake

But then
I memo
All of sudden
I was strapped
down..
I couldn't move
Nor make a sound
around my neck
was a brace
then was like a mask
across my face
but then as I felt
myself.. drifting away
I said then Oh Lord..
Am I going to die
Where am I..
then I heard a bunch of crys
Then I said.. Oh my Lord
Where am I.. did I die??? I see..
All the people whom been in car crashes
and have died.. but yet Never knew.. YOU
Where they be??? They are gone... for all Eternity
They Not Born-again.. Then they Not able to Live again
They gone..
Oh Lord Please.. Save me
As I heard Crys.. of spirits.. whom died..
without knowing.. Our Savior..
I said.. Oh Lord.. Please don't let me die
for I shall tell all.. about You
Then I started to come to..
Then I saw.. twas like a cage
across my face
my neck still in a brace
then they moved me to a table
Then I wanted to say Please..
take this stuff off of me right away
I am fine.. Truly I am..
but I couldn't for twas strapped
I was unable to speak.. because of that

Then the doctor came in
he removed tis mask
and removed the neck brace
Looked at me.. and said
move your head
I did.. I was able to
I even then sat up
I said.. I must leave
For I am Fine
I must tell others
About Jesus
For He is Truth.. He is Divine
For there are many whom not know
Whom die everyday.. in car crashes
do you know where they go??? they are gone..
For they not belong.. to Jesus
Then I got up.. and said..
I am Fine.. for tis you see I am Not dead
I am a christian.. and time tis be
I shall be Eternally Born-again..
Live Eternally

Come to Jesus
For you never know
When tis be Your time is to go
Then where will you be?
For all Eternity

Come Live with Jesus
While You have time
Don't be one whom don't know
then dies.. and spirit is gone
For has nowhere to go.. no home to Live.. again
Come be Eternally Born-again

The Story of the Smashed Eggs

Tilting was the pompous wind,
Wandering in pride,harming all hind.
She arrived under his regalia's-
Even the Wind's clothings brought her nigh.
She said she'll give me heaven and earth;
Even she did price life and death:
'Your heart will be my castle;
Even it'll be to me a sea of turtles'.
And i gave in to her:
Though was afraid of scars.
And after putting all eyes on the train,
She did indisguise hatred on me rain.
Though other ladies had bade me to dwell in their thickets:
But foolishly i placed all my eggs in a basket.

Premium Member Smashed

We were a few cars back
Just missing the wreck
Her car was smashed
No worse than she was really

The other guy had gone on to heaven
Before anyone even came
To the scene of this collision

She was an old friend
And we’d had some trouble
But that was in the past
Now… I wandered what happened
Was she going to be ok?

She was drunk as one gets
And driving way past the limit
Feeling like the 90 proof
Had made her invincible

I would have been the one
Who she crashed into to, too…
Except for the divine intervention
That kept me just far enough away
To see everything that day
Without feeling as smashed as she did!

Untitled #159 / My Wit Smashed

“Well, I guess you’ll just have to choose between
….
…
…
going to a Lady Vols game or
an Ice Bears game”
the sharpness of my wit
has been smashed on the rocks!
I swallow my tongue!

       Smashed
      into oblivion
    that pouty lip;
  You asked for it
        silently.
