Best Sleep With Poems

Can I Sleep With You

Incurable insomnia had perturbed my eyes
Negligence had destroyed your hopes too
You were drenched by a heavy shower of sadness.
Till My bare lustrous skin approached your hours
Your hands gradually caressing my dynamic curves
Long black curls had fallen on your shoulders
The ecstacy of my passion reached its final hours
Emotions ran down to my neck
You were drugged by a blissful kiss
Isolation was broken with this union .
Endless nights spent in your arms
Loneliness was ravaged by the kingdom of happiness
I slept in your deep tranquil eyes .
Till the moonlight disappeared in the lonely sky .
This rapturous dream was beautiful and true
Can I really sleep with you ?

Sleep With the Dot

“You won’t be satisfied’
-That was the voice i heard
and i turned the pages of the manuscript,
one by one;
and it featured the pearls impreganted to them
	turning gold
dissecting the conglomeration of foresaken words
	foxed by (un)bound faith,
          berarted by depraved independence…..

i was apt to imagine,
         the emblem of affable federalism
interfering the transmission from the scriptures,

		The (--(SCRIPT)--)

Don’t shower any light on me
For i am afraid,
	If i can make any pretence at eating;
You stony eyes; don’t gaze at me
i won’t be moved by your stagnant glare.

Six days ago,
it had rained heavily
		-A Divine Rain.
And now,
Though the clouds of darkness
  encompass the darkness,
there may not be a rain today
and sweat may again adhere to my body
pleading for its liberation from self.

Even with the door left ajar,
i will not enter the garden
		experiencing severe drought
As i know for sure,
there are only a few white chessmen left
       on the chess-board
   spread across the cryptic sky.
The reverberations of enchanted hymns
             dissolve in my ears,
           plugging my veering mind,
drawing the thin atmosphere into nullity.

But…
For how long will I lie this frigid bed
                 obsessed with wounds,
                     resisting the warmth,
in the air of sustained captivity!?

I should arise now….
   I must arise now
        with my black apparels on
to see the Reverend old man guarding the pious fire
And I’ll make sure
       my maid doesn’t wipe out
the blood-stains clung to the floor
For,
I’ve to come again to smoothen the wrinkled bed
          and to depart,
                        forever….

Sleep With the Stars

sleep with the stars,
and you'll awake in the sun-
shine at night, and you'll arise,
in the morning's beautiful light

like dew on the grass,
you cover me
like petals on a tulip,
you complete me
like pebbles on a beach,
you surface me
and like air in the sky,
you surround me

walk to the moon,
a smile may appear on your lips,
the journey is worth your while-
so right this time,
fly with the eagles,
and you will have lived free

like a tide in the sand,
   you engulf me

walking or running through my day,
visions of warmth on your smile i see-
and i feel,
                i YEARN,
you long to be near me the way that i am
when we are together;
belonging and being, i am with you,
feeling and needing, you live in me too-
dance with me on the dark side on the moon,
and they shall see us shine;
dance as we do in our dreams,
for i love you and you are mine

the ways of our days are clear and secure,
my enemy is time i am not with you;
my enemy is a dream and to wake up
with you not near me,
but only in thought,
and not in sight-

your soul is my sweet friend,
my i m m o r t a l i t y is your heart,
           my love is forever you

Sleep With This Sky

SLEEP WITH THIS SKY

I want to make love to you underneath Aurora's dance,
beneath the vail of pink and green that flutters, not by chance.
I want to trace your supple lips while clouds boil from afar,
and while entwined by your sweet kiss and neath Capella's star.

I want to hear thunder boom while you whisper in my ear,
fall stone deaf, to lightening crash, and darling words of cheer.
I want to swim twixt sky and earth and splash in our red clay,
to taste that you will linger here and vow that you will stay.

I want Aurora's curtain light to sway upon our thighs,
and take two souls in one to sail, in wispy midnight flies.
I want the comets' shower, in a brilliant cosmic storm,
to ride us hard in splendid fall, and paint Monet in form.

I want the smear of white starlight and earth against our skins,
to trust our joyful loving in the shadow of the Twins.
If we should wake, to our own quake, but languid in a dream,
then our time here, might disappear, but hold us in its stream.

Sleep With You

All I want is to be with you
Baby that is a fact
You know I want to sleep with you
One day we will do that

Until then I am satisfied
With fantasizing 'bout
What it's like to enjoy the ride
Before I turn you out

Sleep With a Producer, - and For Sure, After

Sleep with a producer, - and for sure, after,
Become a greatest actress, and no other way!
And what to do a male, who want to be an actor,
Who not a talented and he not yet a gay?

Sleep With Angels

As you lay your head to sleep
May you have Angels at your feet
To watch over you all night long
Singing softly Angelic songs

May they hold you in Heavenly light
When all is dark, take away all fright
From all monsters and things unseen
May you feel the brush of Angels wings

So say your prayers and go to bed
And know there is nothing here to dread
For God has sent from up above
Special Angels so full of love

Sleep with Angels, love

Today I Will Sleep With the Light On

Today I will sleep with the light on
The dark in my mind doesn't want to see any more dark

Today I will sleep with the light on
I have to block my mind from thinking. ..anymore

Today I want to sleep with the light on
And not see the shadows in the dark
I don't want to feel any ants crawling on me

I want to sleep in the light and wake up in the light
I want to wake up to the beating of my heart, ready to make another record for the day

After Baby Baby, Baby, I Wanna Sleep With You

What war songs will you sing?
About the war that was to end all them?
Over There, Keep the Home Fires Burning,
When Johnny Comes Marching Home?

And next

The White Cliffs of Dover, I’ll Be Seeing You,
Don’t Sit Under the Apple Tree?

Danced we fast and slow,
Where did the war songs go?
While we were sobbing goodbyes
To a new lullaby.

And now, will a new generation
Find no songs of hope are being penned?
Deadly scattered wars on global plains
Will you sing a song for these?

Where is the poet’s verse in song
Of these threatening days,
Wars and rumors of war

	Without melody;
	Without Verse
	Without End
	Silent

Coffin: Sleep With Me

Sleep with me here,
Stay by my side,
No sun or any light can hurt our eyes,
We'll be alright.

Take my hand,
Hold on to me tight.
You are my heart,
We will be warm tonight.

Pull my body close to yours.
Let me take in your scent.
I want to feel your warmth against me.
This will be a comfortable night.

Sleep in this coffin forever.
We shall always be together.
No one can bother us,
for we are apart of the dead.

Whoever You Sleep With

Flaming heat of
lust
     surrounds the both
 of you
       Even while the
rain is falling outside
      the fires still glow within
If you want to continue
     You must make some
concessions
             Straight or gay
it matters little
     All that matters is
that two spirits have
     touched
Does the mind control the
body?
    Or is it vice-versa
I am betting on the latter
   Well, whomever you sleep
with
    I wish you peace

I Sleep With Ghosts

I sleep with ghosts
Who stand and watch
They don’t interfere
Just stand and stare

I don’t always see them
But I know they are there
They patiently wait until the time
When I will join them

Just standing there - watching.......

Sleep With Me

You came into my bed
The texture of the doona, what delight
We smashed the patriarchy
Lived on the commune
Gaia, Theia, the moon

Why don’t people say what they mean?
Tell me anything, you said.
and so I said it.
You laughed and went to bed
