Premium Member Winter Sonata

"If you're really in love, appearances aren't important. The best house is the one you build in each other's hearts."
Jung Yu jin

Autumn's alliterations amplified an acoustic of death.
Stillness of internal instrumentals silenced my acapella.
Words like wildflowers withered in winter wickedness,
without voice or verse I vanished behind a visible veil.

I was like a lifeless crystallised burnt sienna leaf,
as bitter breaths froze my brittle soul's ink.
Fatigued fingertips trembled from numbness -
without a purpose upon a speechless stage.

Afraid of crisp crying rain, which fell like a refrain.
my summer eyes turned amaurotic.
Life resembled a blank music sheet,
among an abandoned piano covered in iced cobwebs.
In solitude my music remained unwritten,
as I slept in a shivery silent slumber - tone deaf,
finding fading apricity in stolen daylight.

Until a silvery silhouette appeared. - sparkling.
Placed my hands into her warm glove-like hands,
wrapped me in an emphatic scarf-like embrace.
Her rose gold lips echoed in Orphic tones,
reviving my somnolent mute muse.
Blessed with vibrations from her vision,
senses awoke to rhythms of her heavenly harmony -
strumming an enchanting lover's lullaby.

Were you a gift from an orchestra of operatic angels,
sent to place hymns of hallelujah deep into my heart?

As her mystical mystery began to unfold.
In union our lyrics amplified into a rhapsody of romance.
Vibrant tunes from her intimate strings composed a
seraphic serenade, as we drifted into a dream world.

Today,
as we dance under emerald velvet northern lights,
snowfall covers our paths like an ivory blanket.
Soft flakes, like pearls glisten under tinsel moonlight,
as we leave poetic footprints behind in soothing snow -
a chorus of constellations glow to the tempo of our glorious sonata.

Premium Member If This Was the Last

i remember all of our first times
all of our poems

i've always been safer in air
yet you kept me afloat in rushing tides
but
without your beautiful silhouette
eyes see sadness in indigo weeping waves
the whole ocean seems empty to me
unable to stroke like a butterfly
i'm drowning in ripples of loneliness

wondering if that was the last
time I would gaze into your brown eyes

i was lost in your arms now i'm annoyed at being found

labyrinth of lament is a boat trapped in a glass bottle
love is an analogy of two hearts
fate a game of chance without luck

was it the last time
i would roam in your flower garden
feel heartbeats from your chest
rest upon the softness of your breasts

aroma of your sensual skin still caresses my fingertips
as your memories comfort like a winter scarf

if only it was your lips on my coffee cup
your kiss to soothe the bitterness

yet i'm lonelier than the summer moon
burning away like a fading star
ageing in the transgression of time
grey strands overcoming my appearance

was that the last time
i would wipe your tears
hold you passionately in my arms

you rise with the music of dawn
whilst i sink in the smoky silent haze of dusk

so i sit upon distant shivery shores
whilst moonlight glimmers upon your turquoise sea
your memories seem more melancholic in the rain
everything seems colder in the confusion of absence

wondering if this will be the last time
i answer you calling my name
hear you tell me you hate me -
then remind me you love me
then portray it in poetry

what if this was the last poem
last time we get to say goodbye

Premium Member Snow And Tell

Now let me share my shivery story,
With random revelations shed some light -
Though I’m a dazzling glow but no glory,
I’m much more than white mesmerising sight.

I know around the globe I’m frowned upon,
Shoved aside as unremarkable meme.
Frosty and I, my boon companion -
Ephemeral scapegoats of Nature’s whim.

The poignant part that’s so freezin’ unfair,
Snowbirds and geese leave sweet homeland behind,
And what the hail, even a grizzly bear
Under my frozen fist checks out to hide.

I’m well aware that cars are going nuts,
When on black ice wheels spin out of control,
I’m traffic’s curse and drivers hate my guts -
Apologies for my heavy downfall.

Still silver lining’s part of every cloud -
I’m not warm and affectionate as such,
But my visage being shovelled and plowed
Morphs into cool and captivating touch.

Though I’m made up of many a snowflake -
Floating frigid and fragile to adore,
I swear and say for elves and Santa’s sake -
There is white substance to my melting core.

I’m seasonal and thus a treasured treat,
I’m well equipped and sell extremely well:
Without my gifts, apart from slush and sleet,
Would be no sleighs, no skis, no NHL.

I’m a commodity just so you know,
When you can’t smell the roses, seize the snow!
Let winter’s inhibition cover go -
And Let it glow! Let it glow! Let it glow!

Premium Member When Summer is gone

Faint scents still linger, as summer slowly fades.
Sun silently hides behind smoky clouds,
as raindrops hum in a jaded symphony,
plummeting against misty windows,
vibrating against puddles upon pavements.
Leaves drift in the chill, revealing bare branches,
rustling in the breeze then soaking on the ground,
as gloomy skies colour moonlight into monochrome.

As shivery spirits seek shelter,
swan song flowers soak in melancholic tones,
reminiscent of a forgotten mother's lullaby,
whispering softly, but never faltering.

Nature's nakedness consumes the aura of my oasis,
as cold ghosts reappear, reflecting in resentful regret.
Ebony hues discolour the textured illusion of my rainbow,
as my soul serenades its harmony for hibernation.

Children of summer are like a leaf,
vibrant with colourful hues in spring,
but misplaced in Autumn, easily carried away with zephyrs.

Desolate, windswept trees are shivery,
when red and purple leaves are falling.
Ungathered cherries hang in reverie!
Desolate, windswept trees are shivery,
engaged in multihued, cool creativity.
Goodbye violet birds skyrocket, calling!
Desolate, windswept trees are shivery,
when red and purple leaves are falling.

Premium Member The Freedom Train

Run freedom child; keep thy body low amongst the shadows,
Nay never look back, lets hastes speed excel your stride,
For the devil’s steeds ride behind thee, and they’ll show thee
No mercy, run freedom child, run, towards the distant horizon.

Travel beneath the lunar light of the lantern moon, let its
Rays of illumination guild thee, towards liberties jurisdiction,
To the northern boarders beyond slavery's killing fields.
Beware the night-stalkers whom ride by the white lightening’s
Flash and sting at the bared flesh with the task-masters lash,
Humanities wolf pack on a blood scent’s travel, biting at thy
Unsaddled heals, Run freedom child, Run, for they are a Coming!

Deep within the hollows divides listen to the whispering winds,
It echoes with a low mournful tone, a sounding’s rheum vibrating,
With a shock waves raw force of power, it is rails of freedom
Burning towards thee, Harken freedom child, and listen to the
Thunderous cries of the Underground Railroad.
A payments ticket price, is the will to survivor as a free man,
Stamped by the inner beating heart’s desire, to taste the air of
Liberation, and to soar with his winged appendages outwardly
Amongst kindred flock as equals.
Beware my friend for far above thee, two birds of prey are
At battles striking range, for your soul’s precious blood.
Behold the southern night hawk, struggles to drag thee back
To entrance of hells gates plantation, yet the great eagles
Sharpened talons are driven deeply within its crimson bleeding
Flesh of ignorance, biding thee time to flee to freedoms
Safety zone.

Run freedom child; keep thy body low amongst the shadows,
Nay never look back, lets hastes speed excel your stride,
For the devil’s steeds ride behind thee, and they’ll show thee
No mercy, run freedom child, run, towards the distant horizon.

All aboard cling to the iron handles of the freedom train,
Ride by the light of the shivery moon’s lantern of illumination,
And harken to the sounding’s echo of freedom’s distant winds,
Calling unto the souls of all men to be free, to excel, and to
Soar with the currents of equality as equals, amongst thee
Brother’s kindred.

Shivery Is Not Dead

Shivery is not dead!
My love I am happy to know
that shivery is not dead for you
and I.
In today’s society young
mothers and fathers have a
tendency to not teach their
children shivery, leaving it to
die out. But I write this poem in
such few words knowing it will
make an impact once it’s read
to have individuals to discuss
what shivery really is and how
it’s connected to our savior.

Reciprocation
When we go to the car and you
open my door and then I open
your door for you
When I dish out the dinner and
you feed me
When I cook the dinner and
you wash the dishes
When we sit down in a
restaurant and when I get up,
you stand
When we take a walk and we
hold each others hand
When I wash the clothes and
you fold them
When I want to sit down you
pull out my chair
For only if we teach our
children to understand that the
spirit of savior resides within
us. Therefore we should love
each other and treat each other
the same, as our lord and
savior loves us! From what I
read our savior is not bias. He
rains on the just and the
unjust.

Beauty In Uncertainty

the murky depths of the night drifts off the lone fisherman
     to the tamarind yellow river shaded with ecru of ambiguity;
  wind whispers wrapped in sweet somberness and  shivery softness;
yonder a hint of golden honey light beckons a beautiful uncertainty.

An Angel In Disguise

Long delicate fingers guided by purest love
Gently holds my hand, shivery tingles of delight
Such perfect alabaster skin, glows from within
Ivory silk gown spun on spinning wheel above
Heavenly scent, deep breath fills me with love and light
Eyes mesmerized, love beyond measure far from sin

Angel voice, each word she speaks the sweetest refrain
Bursting with pure love, melodic notes float above
Child's soul delights, tiny hands strum so lightly
Her charming tinkly laughter, surely entertains
Heaven's harp mastered by little lamb and Godly dove
An angel in disguise who tucks me in nightly.

An Ode To My Future Lover

I rest the rhapsodic morn along rustic shadows,
as if it were a sapphire,
i shall serenade beautifully beneath our efflorescent forests,
my hands await you like a rustic moon,
i shivery surreptitiously in my cashmere bowers,
the harmonies have dale's autumn glow,
the have bough's idyllic fragility,
ahhh, my future love,
my love,
my heart beats eagerly,
between the romance of a piano,
the season's have melody's romantic bough,
i will not wait me surely,
the feathers have glow's sparkling willow,
the lullaby leaps,
your silhouettes run the constellation,
you ,my love,
are my distant,eternal,
and yet, pastoral horizons

If We Never Meet Again

If we never meet again,
If I never get to see those eyes,
Full of a land of laughs and lies,
Then darling, I'd just like to say,
Thank you for melting my troubles away,
Even though you turned your back on me,
Leaving me cold and shivery.

You were a fascinating creature;
My one redeeming feature,
You gave me little satisfaction,
But that was part of the attraction,
And if it takes forever
I will learn to leave you behind,
Out of sight and out of mind,
It's going to take a long long time
To replace my partner in crime,
Who else would dare to risk it all
To intervene and break my fall?
Just like I did for you before,
But you won't let me anymore.

So before we go our separate ways,
Let me take one last look at your face,
For whatever happens once we part,
The world can't wash you from my heart.

Troubles and Woes

Hiberty jiberty liberty lox.
Quivery livery shivery shin.
Naughty Pandora opened the box
And couldn't get all of the troubles back in.

Oh, briars of evil and nettles of sin.
Gaggles of sorrow, and worries in flocks.
Quivery livery shivery shin,
Hiberty jiberty liberty lox.

Concealed By a Bramble Bush

Concealed by a bramble bush,
Fixated to her tight swathe.
She takes a little look around,
Then peels off her clothes to bathe.

Standing there with just a pink panty,
The small of back had perfect dimples.
She hesitated for a while in the cool breeze,
That kissed her skin to form goose pimples.

Hugging herself, she dipped a toe in the water,
Then performs a shivery dance.
My eyes made love to her beauty,
My body succumbed to their romance.

She turned to the side as if walking a tight rope,
And skimmed the water surface with her foot.
I saw her perky mountainous breasts,
And almost let out a coyote’s crying woof.

A goddess, a picture, and artists dream,
Every man’s vision of heavenly thighs.
I stood unblinkabley mesmerised,
Thinking “Thank you for my bramble bush disguise.”

This is how I met my second wife, Jane, by the way
And love her with the same passion as that very day
I found out later that she was the sister of Glen
Who is my close Imaginary friend

Rap

This is rap
                                    Beat and tap
                                  With some clap

Rapper can tell you feelings with flow
The poetry ought to be mind blow
Thing is you be Fast or slow
Don’t stop till the last blow
People will idolize you and bow
Alas you will rise and glow

Blues rooted through work songs and African black slavery
Old school will refresh your simple times and memory
Freestyle brings out instant thoughts along with great story
Rap battles are full of freestyle and heavy shivery
If there's a pause do not expect any chilvary.
You have to control your nerves to stop misery
For a rapper his beats, rhythm, flow and delivery
Like a soldier’s courage loaded with strategy and artillery
When Both have control on these can achieve victory

Love

When the drop of
Cool water
Dropped
on a tender leaf
Giving a hard kiss

The leaf trembled
And screamed
I hate your shivery touch!

Before denote its love
The drop of water dissolved
Over the leaf!
