Kill Love

Another broken heart
another shattered dream
another helpless cry
another undeard scream
another cut to my arm
another puddle of blood
another day of self harm
another wound to flood
it kills me inside
all the feelings that i hide
i just keep them to me
so that no one else can see
see the reason for my pain
nothing will ever be the same
im tired of constantly trying
when i no deep inside im dying.

In Sandy On a Sundy

In Sandy on a Sund’y
Can’t even buy a pie
The High Street is a ghost town
From some Kafkaesque sci-fi.
Not a single caf is open
No point in asking ‘Why?’
So I’ll just go down
To the Rose and Crown
And give their roast a try.

The film set has now altered
To a Sergio Leone
The barman with the hang-dog look
Is sitting all alone.
I enquire after Sunday Lunch
His reply comes Brummily spoken.
‘No food today,
I’m afraid to say.
The chef’s right arm is broken.’

So homeward I trudge
To a can of stodge
That I’d been keeping handy
And I curse the day
I decided to stay
In this Sabbath-subserving Sandy.

The Google Boys

I remember the Google Boys
Such a long time ago!
Working in a neighbors garage
With Rocket Science to make their web go!

So I started bragging as LOUD as could be
Out on the Internet for all who could see
Next came a knock on my tiny front door
Two Google shirts that I do still adore

So thanks Sergio
And Thanks, Larry too!
Not a day shall pass
Without prayer for You!

God Bless my precious Google Boys, Judy

Premium Member The Stargazer

On the sandy knoll he stands, a solitary, forlorn figure gazing at the sky. It’s a clear night, and hundreds of stars shimmer like fireflies pinned to the firmament. His eyes fix on one of them, a twinkling pinpoint near the center that seems to give off a faint amber glow. Looking at it distractedly, he wonders what star it is, which galaxy, how many light years away. He has been mired in a persistent gloom brought on by a bad breakup which life in general has done little to lift, and in his pensiveness, he yearns to be where he is not.

                                                Stars congregating
                                            A salve of reticent lights
                                                Melancholy vaults

He imagines not only life but a much more advanced civilization on the amber star (the distinction between a star and a planet he’s in no mood to dwell on), an unknown utopia in the wilderness of space where unhappiness has been bred out of the entire race, and where there’s no war, no loss, no hate, no love, just a perpetual lightness of being maintained by wisdom and moored to omnipotent technology. He wishes he could leave everything behind, and go far, far away to that beckoning star.

                                              Soul with starry eyes
                                        Thoughts retreat into night sky
                                                 Fantasy of flight

The star he’s gazing at is in fact not a star, but a planet in a spiral galaxy 4.5 million light years away, which would not be visible to his naked eye if it weren't for the light from over 5,000 near-simultaneous explosions that have obliterated civilization there in a nuclear apocalypse. Before life was extinguished, the planet’s inhabitants called their galaxy the Milky Way, and the planet itself, Earth.

                                            Man-made suns flashing
                                           Perpetual night descends
                                              Light flees into space

Premium Member This Bitter Wave

As blue waters of March quiver a chime,
Near the paling ledge of Triste's harbor
Where so many stars flicker, quite sublime
On fallen crest…it hurts a whole lot more.

Near the paling ledge of Triste's harbor
I observe the dreamer inside me ache,
On fallen crest…it hurts a whole lot more
To drink, to sip this bitter wave and break.

I observe the dreamer inside me ache,
For this masquerade of glee chafes my soul
To drink, to sip this bitter wave and break;
Recalling my Nana… dug in the knoll.

For this masquerade of glee chafes my soul
Where so many stars flicker, quite sublime
Recalling my Nana… dug in the knoll.
As blue waters of March quiver a chime,

Airplane Mode

Today is one of those days where I need to put my phone on airplane mode
I don't want to be disturbed until my pain goes
I just want to take a day off from the world and sit in the same clothes
This isn't an argument or beef I promise we will remain bros

I'm not lonely, but today I'd rather be alone
Unless Demi Lovato wants to realise I exist and hits my phone
Give me today to re-energize and spend one day without desire
Let me peacefully watch my favourite movies A Bronx Tale and Mrs Doubtfire

I'm good by myself today, there's no need for conversation
I want to sit back and watch my favourite Cristiano Ronaldo and Ronaldinho compilations
I plan to relax until I get mad at conceding a last minute goal on fifa
Maybe have a few cans of beer and order a pizza

Sorry world but I've had to switch today's plans off
Please don't attack me for it, I'll get so defensive you'd think I'm Sergio Ramos
Today is just one of these days where I don't care to be disturbed
This isn't an everyday thing, but every so often I will renew these words

Taking It All In For What It's Worth

parmesean shrimp pasta and loaded cheese grits
southern chicken tenders and rice pilaf
hot buttered cornbread and butterscotch pudding for dessert
two bottles of water, some multivitamins, and an alluring oceanfront view

a unique collection of music i made similar to an 8 track i had in the early 80s
let me see....morning sunrise-weldon irvine....lovely day-bill withers....
moonlight feels right-starbuck....kiss you all over-exile....the tide is high-the paragons
....simple things-minnie riperton....look around-sergio mendes and brazil '66....
a little stan getz, a taste of michael franks, and an alluring oceanfront view

i sit here now in complete silence
a few people with flashlights are having a good time like i am
race, color, and presentation does not matter here in this vibe
i fall asleep with a smile of pure contentment on my face
i do not worry about the inevitable departure
i do not worry about what is waiting for me when i get home
i do not even worry about time or place
i just amass myself in the heavenly bliss of the moment....thank the Lord....and rejoice

The God of the Last Minute

The last minute wonder.
The nick of time saviour.

At Hells door I lay.

A willing candidate for destruction.
For I had exhausted my wealth on the acquisition of wild pleasures.

There His grace found me.

Those amazing hands that dragged me back to life.
That love that fed me with the living waters.
That Jesus that transformed me into a living stone.
That Jesus that made me a holy nation.

The God of the last minute.

In total disarray, my life was.
At its lowest ebb, my joy was.
At its dying breath, my faith was.
At a crumbling state, my security was
With a firm padlock, my doors of favour was shut.

I encountered many tragedies,
Tried many remedies.

Ran from pillar to post.
Huge debts, my purse grossed.
To the world, I became a ghost

At the nick of time.
God's favour came.
His blessings rained.
A new song, He put in my mouth.

Olorun Sergio Ramos.
The God of the last minute changed my story.

after all, all we have is time, so dont' hate on me

If i haven't mentioned it, its all in good fun anyway, even this little rhym
I'll look back on it one day when not so young and recall

Thoughts For Sergio

Thoughts For Sergio

................................
Memories of the all the good times,
our way to make it through.....
In this time we feel such sorrow,
hearts filled with thoughts of you.....

For all the times we will need you,
for all the times we will cry.....
If love alone could have saved you,
We'd have never said Goodbye....

In life we loved you dearly,
in death we will love you still.....
In Our hearts you hold a special place,
no other man can ever fill.....

If tears could lend another way,
for loved ones to feel no pain.....
Ours would flow like a river to heaven,
and bring you back to us again.....

Our family chain has been broken,
a missing link ..never the same.....
Until God calls... then one by one,
We will be linked again.....

While in the beginning there is such agony
Internal screams...so deep.....
In time begin fading.. allowing smiles
For not as often.. will we weep.....

You.... as a man
Imprinted like no other.....
One of a kind

Dirty Laundry

Follow the money
Sergio Magkitsky did,
now he’s dead
Offload the stolen money offshore,
safe from regulatory confiscation
Hide the digital footprints
tracking back
to innocent Russian blood that was shed
Don’t get looped into
a diversionary sound byte
Keep following the money instead ...
Dirty money getting laundered clean
Circulating back
into the filthy hands of the enemy
Block the flow with well-placed sanctions,
shut the door
to the underground corruption being done
Following the money
will put your life in peril
So you always gotta stay
two steps ahead
Sergio Magkitsky didn’t ...
now he’s dead

Thats No Way To Break My Heart

You walk into the room
like you never left
you hug me as everythings okay
i let myself forget
as i fall for you agian
i look into your eyes
you hide your pain so well
i look into your heart
my name has faded
im suddenly scared
i cant hold on forever
for nothing more than this

Premium Member Spaghetti Westerns

There was a great filmmaker from Italy.
The man’s name was Sergio Leone.
He made a famous western trilogy.
These three films were all quite good.
They starred an American named Clint Eastwood.
“A Fistful of Dollars” became something to adore.
The next film was titled “For a Few Dollars More”.
The most famous of this cinematic trilogy
was the flick “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly”.
They were about a man with no name.
Each film launched Clint Eastwood to fame.
These three films were set in the American West.
As westerns go, they are among the best.
All three films are considered of quality,
even though they were shot in Italy.
On the television, these films occasionally show.
“Spaghetti Westerns” became a term we would all know.

Craving

strolling through a driveby
see a cutie standing by
wearing a pair of jeans
could be levis or sergio
whatever,
i'm loving the scene
just like in a love song
when a guy sings about yearning
to get into a gal's jeans
and see what's inside
i'm feeling that way now.

Premium Member Dear Sergio

Ever since Mr. Dutile asked us to sandwich our desks together, I haven't
been able to sleep or eat. My mom made her famous crisp lasagna the
other night but I didn't eat a bite. I went to my room feigning a stomach
ache then wrote your name all over my binder. I can feel my cheeks hot
as I write this but I must say it or combust. You make my heart melt like mozzarella and when you smile at me, you make me feel like the prettiest
girl alive. I know I am not Julie Panuccia with her revlon lipstick but I was hoping, you felt this way too.

So here it goes, "Would you go to the prom with me?"
Before you say no, I must ask you one thing, "When you slipped me that silly note along with your hewed pencil, was that you making a pass?
I figured maybe ?

Soooo, if they answer is yes then on prom night I will ask the D.J.
to play "My Eyes Adored You" it was playing the day I ran
into you on talent night. I almost dropped my books at your feet
I believe I fell in love that da. I hope you feel the same way too
