A Girl Who Sells Peanuts
She floats on the saffron shore
holding a bamboo basket.
Her heart beats
within the shelter
of peanut shells.

Toys and text books,
picnics and pamperings;
all collided on a wall,
but death dropped her
to be tossed.

The girl in a dirty frock –
she sells parched peanuts
for coins...

The Bloke Who Sells the Bait
Another long weekend’s upon us and we’re ready, set to go,
To get amongst the bream again, along the river Tambo.
Our adrenaline is rushing and we’re really bloody keen,
To celebrate with fishing while, we’re toasting to the queen…
And when arriving Friday night,
We were told the fishing’s...

Who Buys,Who Sells

Heck they move, the busy market murmured
Down they went to the Pub sell,
In with spontaneous drive look they;
Who buy,who sell the the market Cries,
For with no hook it quit like of hermit-crab,
At noon it is seen crying,in ecstasy did yell
Like of SHAWORO(A Yoruba:name for...

She Sells Goat's Cheese, Not My Favorite
she sells goat's cheese, not my favorite
plying the beach ramada to ramada
at times she sits with me
lowering the basket from her head
her clothes are worn, patched
i roll eggs, beans, chorizo into a tortilla
hand it away, she always accepts
then throwing her arm over the chair
she begins...

Premium Member Good News Sells Too
Here's the Good News, our world is awash,
in wonders and beauty life cannot quash;
Like laughter and love, kind words, Turtle Doves,
Bar Mitzvahs and birthdays, baptisms and first dates,
Promotions, Grand Openings, healings and yodeling!

Still more Good News...
Our world is awash, in kisses and hands held,
Tests...

Sex Sells
You asked,
“Daddy, where’d I come from?” in your cute and charming way
The time was early morning ‘bout 6 bells
Confused you looked at my reply I guess you had to bat an eye
When I turned and said, “Because my dear, sex sells”.

You sat there for a...

Sex Sells
They say Sex sells
Thats why half the world strip down when they've got nothing Left to tell
I was writing this as a Joke, but jokes hold a lot of truth
Never thought I'd say this, but I'm tired of girls stripping down for views
Posting half naked...

Premium Member A Store That Only Sells Leggings
A store that only sells leggings.
What? How is this even possible?
In this economy? What would keep it in business?
Serious, this is as ridiculous as a store that only sells
Mickey Mouse stamp pads. Crazy!

The posters say the entire store costs ten dollars.
Is this...

She Sells Death
He cheats on me by night
And beats me by day
Oh what shall I do about this fray
Well I know a lady who sells death
One bite and in Hell he shall lay
The concoction is simple not hard to make
Slow cook it a hour and ten minutes...

Premium Member USA Sells Out on an Ally

It is the second night of Passover.
Biden and team, supporting Palestine?
And accusing great Israel of genocide?
Please pass me a tall, glass of cyanide!

Our strongest ally, Israel tossed to the ground.
While AOC cheers on rabid, violent protesters ?
Universities, some, only online for semesters!
American leadership is miles...
