Premium Member Breathtaking

Beholding the golden skies of each new honeyed dawn makes me
Rejoice to know I shall never bear witness to two that are tantamount.
Each time the flaming sun dips beneath the sea when setting, I am
Astounded and completely in awe of each breathtaking experience.
These daily interludes are the precious gifts of our loving Father.
His remarkable creations, in all facets of life are joyous to my heart.
Traversing the rolling rapids in the depth of the Grand Canyon, or
Ascending the heights to reach the crest of a snow-capped mountain
Knoll, there lays before my eyes all the new vistas I've yet to explore.
I anticipate with reverence having my breath taken away even more.
New and wondrous visions will be restored to us on Earth one day.
Glorious and breathtaking sights that will surely take my breath away.

Castle On a Hill

Castle on a Hill Contest
Sponsor: Nayda Ivette Negron

Chateau with elevation inclined on top of the knoll

Ascending into the citadel where the Prince reads his scroll

Sloping down toward the guards who need to patrol

Tower laying on the highest bluff for all the land to see

Lady Isabelle, so beautiful with sparkling eyes, I’d agree

Eminence of dwellers bowing down to the manor's decree

This castle looks like it was made perfect and built for a King,
 the height carries a fortress for all the land dwellers to see,
the rising of the orb skyline compliments the coming of Spring
a perfect home for a princess…and now a family of three.

Stairway To the Stars

Step by step,
Taking it slow,
Ascending higher
Into paradise unknown.
Reaching the stars,
Without fear,
All I can think of,
Yes, i'm getting here.
To my new home,
Only dreams are made of,
Today is the day,
Heaven draws near.
Each step I get closer,
Salvation awaits.
Taking this path,
Against the worst odds,
Redemption from my sins,
So I take this journey, on the,

Jubilation-filled journey awaits me this New Year and its wondrous days

Assured by my Almighty God*, commencing in January with His anchoring grace

Nourished thru His love, mercy and care's wondrous ways

Upholding me verily to overcome challenges along life race...

Ascending upward joyous service-heights, I press on with fervent faith's pace

Rejuvenated and revived toward grateful blessed worshipful praise

Yielded to my Lord Who knows what's best in His omniscience-rays!

*Genesis 17:1 ... I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

Premium Member Great Escape

Geared by God, greeting gracious glow
Ready is my spirit for rejuvenation revival
Empowered to exalt Him with praise ecstasy
Ascending against apprehending arrogance
Triumphant toward thanksgiving trust.

Extricated from exhausting selfish expedition
Settled is my soul, secured by the Saviour
Chained and clasped around His clemency
Attaining faith-affirmed service approval
Pursuing heavenly profits, perfectly precious
Exchanging the ephemeral for the eternal*.

1Peter 5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

Rose From the Ranks

R-ose from the ranks,
O-vertook as the night fell;
S-uccess you did achieve,
A-ttaining a higher level.
L-ow position you once held
I-s elevated to the next;
N-ew function you fulfill,
D-ivine duty that you
A-nnex.

C-limbed the tree of triumph
A-scending in ecstasy;
L-ife's destiny is written,
E-nding up in victory.
R-ose from the ranks, took every step to improve;
A-dvanced through the grades, accelerating your move.

B-oosted and highly headed
I-nto another promotion;
N-ever ever did you boast,
U-nder the break of dawn.
Y-es, on sixteenth September she remains in member's phalanx;
A-ccept the well versed woman who rose from the ranks.

New Dawn Has Broken

N-ew dawn has broken
O-n twenty-third September;
N-ight has already turned
I-nto morn beautiful
E-ver.

M-orn has just broken
A-fter the dark ceases to exist;
R-ise of the sun begins,
A-scending from the east.
S-hadows have turned
I-nto sparkle in your eyes;
G-ray clouds in the sky
A-re getting white so
N-ice.

C-ockcrow has started,
O-pening the big occasion;
M-illion mirth is brought
B-ecause of the jubilation.
A-nother day is breaking,
L-eaving the dusk behind;
I-mmeasurable brightness
C-reates a zone in your mind.
E-arly light you can behold, as you feel the seventh heaven;
R-ainy evening has passed, new dawn has broken.

Gregg Rose Not From Rio

G-regg rose not from Rio,
R-ealizing the uncovered truth;
E-ven if he looked like Latino
G-reat was the place of his
G-rowth.

D-etermined Gregg gave it all,
E-xerting each and every effort;
L-eading a life toward victory, bringing to him some sort of comfort.

R-isen from the Philippines
O-n September twenty-second;
S-uccessful Gregg was glad,
A-scending from far eastern nation.
R-isen not from beautiful Brazil,
I-nstead from province of mango;
O-riginated from Zambales, Gregg rose not from Rio.

Fly Like An Aeroplane

J-ust fly like an aeroplane,
A-scending into the cloud;
Y-earn to reach the zenith,
S-oar high above the crowd.
O-nce you fly like an aeroplane, people watch your rapid rise;
N-othing can stop your takeoff before the gazers' eyes.

C-ome into the point of departure,
L-eap from the concrete lane;
I-n the morn of February tenth,
M-ay you fly like an
A-eroplane.

Words of Art

A-scending sun in the morning
N-ewly shines its light;
N-ighttime has just turned
I-nto a day burning bright.
E-ventide is out of sight,
L-eaving no trace to find;
Y-ou cannot see its flight
N-or can you keep it in your mind.

M-onth of joyful January
A-ppeals to me for writing on;
R-hyme of acrostic is sent to you
T-wenty-fourth early dawn.
I-nto your soul and spirit,
N-ext to your mind and heart;
E-ver inspiring lines
Z-ealously convey the words of art.

A Beautiful Scene

J-ust another morn breaks,
E-arly sunrise has begun;
A-scending from the east,
N-ew light brings much fun.
N-ight cold chill is over as the twilight fades from sight;
E-vening shadow passes by to let the flame burn so bright.

M-arch twenty-fourth turns fine
A-fter the storm goes away;
R-ain stops from falling;
C-lear clouds prove your
H-appy birthday.

M-ist has just disappeared,
A-ir haze is nowhere to find;
C-harming views seen in you
A-re truly easing my mind.
Y-ews in the vast meadow
A-im to stay evergreen;
N-ice image of the rainbow brings colors to a beautiful scene.

On the Way To the Top

C-limb the highest hill,
A-scending from the ground;
M-ake it to the summit,
E-levate safe and sound.
L-ive up to the expectation, trying to do what is best;
A-pril twenty-ninth morn, your birth God will bless.

J-ump and fly into the air,
O-ver the clouds up high;
Y-earn to soar into the star, reaching the wide blue sky.

A-im for the precious prize;
N-ight of failure passes by;
S-hadows of doubt disappear,
A-s well as moan and sigh.
N-ew dawn comes shining, after the dark dusk is gone;
O-ne day will surely break to bring joy, laughter, and fun.

M-eet the bigger challenge
O-f your life beneath the sun;
R-ising to the occasion,
A-sk God for the race to run.
L-earn to sleep well at night,
E-arly then you'll wake up;
J-ust walk in the right path,
O-n the way to the top.
