"Sequence of Love"

Love possesses many faces
occurring in romantic places
culminated by embraces ...

Love illuminates the soul
intertwining halves to whole
fulfilling a human, earthly role ...

Love radiates rare quality
increasing to a sweet degree
of everlasting ecstasy ...

Love invades enchantingly
perhaps, appears repeatedly,
but only once, comes sacredly ... eventually ...

If Shakespeare Wrote Our Play

the frozen breath would stain
the night sky black,
as it swallows the harmony
of a lone cricket choir.

your skin reflects
our shroud of sweat,
your teeth sacredly protest
across my naked shoulders

in this Moët room.
The half moon comes
to rest its rays,
casting a former shadow

on fingers that climb my ribs
like desperation clings to the ladder.

A want to understand
what the other pretends
through eyes, an impatient

glance in a moment
we see a reflection;
my arms braced back
hands full of drunken awkwardness

your fingers imbedded
above my chest, owning flesh
tension can only releases this ache
while your lips search for sound

stopped by times aged hand
coming to rest on our nakedness

 (as we become giants)

Premium Member Depth of Love

Light travels at a constant speed

though bent, attracted and absorbed –

is love so different from its beaming
physical counterpart, dear wave
that truly recalls a soul's worth of gleam

the only ethereal that lingers
within and beyond~sensing even greater
paths of flight yet to be sourced unimaginable

for what is truly remembered of a valued
life

outside the breath of a candle
never extinguished for sacredly
carried

like the sentiment of a stone
at a grave-site

where two often lie

when the one departed....

Whispers of the Past

On some misty morning when the ground is wet and still
When clouds obscure the forest and creeks flow the rill
Go sacredly and slowly and you will surely hear
Whispers of the past from the ghosts of yesteryear

They talk of things that happened long before your birth
and soon they'll disappear when the mist falls to earth
You'll know that they are near by the rustle on the grounds
Watch in silent wonderment as the ghosts go on their rounds

I Drunk the Sea

Glittering was the evening Sun’s face Glided down unto the level of my surface

Wobbled were the waves of the ocean Rays reflected by the waves, for a reason

Water level was on the declining trend Enticing beauty of the scene was grand

Decline of water was at a high pace I could gaze the clear view of the space

Eventually exterminated was the sea, In a short time you may take for a tea!

Sacredly sailing was the setting Sun Though the whole drama indeed, is a fun,

As the emptied water was packed in a bottle And as if I drunk the sea, in a magic battle!

Divinity

Divinity

Divine footprints in the sand.
Divinity within your hands.
Sacredly encompassing where you stand.
Holding it all together like a rubber band.

All Hallows Eve

Ghouls, ghosts and goblins
Wicked Wiccans wielding
Spirits soaring sacredly
Trick or treating?

Pumpkin patches present
Barren by butcher’s beast
Costumed careless children
Foul frightening feast

Darkened distressed demons
Patiently persecuting prey
Evil engulfs the entities
Devouring delicious day

Halloween howls heard
From foreign fetched fans
Yearning, yielding, yenning
For a fearful frightening band

Premium Member Evolution of the Ankh

In the ancient Egyptian culture
The Ankh represented life’s adventure

Crux ansata - Latin translation
Cross with a handle, strong foundation

When Roman Emperor Constantine
Envisioned his death in a dream scene

He adapted the symbol’s meaning
To reflect violence intervening

With a warrior’s death -- sword and spear
Evoking in non-Christians supreme fear

Today the Ankh remains a symbol
Sacredly identifiable

With the power of Christian belief
All handed down from Sanskrit relief

I see the cross and eternal circle
As faith's evolution -- God's miracle

Sans Scribbling Scrolling, Scrounging Scrunching Scrying Scribe Section Sixty

the following quite quirky epistle may not exhibit the ordinary characteristics of poetry, but i decided to share this self made challenge (where every word begins with the letter "S" - no explanation can be offered why such self cerebral torture imposed, nor what motivated me to focus on the nineteenth letter of the english alphabet at the exclusion of other noble vowels and consonants.

The Fifth Element

The sea
Seems to stretch for infinity
There are sailing war ships upon the sea
Even among roaring cannons they still shine with beauty

The battle of two great navies takes place on the sea
Blue Falcon the commander of smaller navy
Kalandar commander of opposing navy
Each of the two is tempting destiny
Blue Falcon looks at enemy ships angrily
It is they who turned his life to misery
What worse they stole eye that to Falcon is holy
Stronger than any army

Blue Falcon has smaller navy
And is slightly less experienced in sea
But if bold plan takes hold path to victory
He can see

The eye is physical manifestation of dream of divinity
The fifth element where first can be
One of four on Earth, or the element of destiny
Or any other element being first the eye last element would be

The same for every base it would be
The ultimate in universe mesmerizing in majesty
True essence of all it offers power freedom and longevity
The Falcon crew fights bravely

Even if some are pirates scourge of the sea
But fifth element deciding factor will be
And getting it back is the key
Extraordinarily

As blue falcon comes close to Kalandars’ vessel eventually
Facing each other’s broad side they will be
Falcon on blue falcon shoulder is not irony
And that falcon the will be

Savior of whole blue falcon’s navy
As it sacredly
Takes flight above the fire drenched sea
And in its talons it grabs the eye which property
Of Blue Falcon is rightfully

As fifth element back with Blue Falcon will be
His navy
Will score great victory
And Kalandar will be forced to flee

But it is Blue falcon’s soul that straightened his destiny
Despite his many faults it showed incorruptibility
Thanks to it and his pet he won this victory
And his presence is great but his spirit was always free

Premium Member Breaking Through Nationalism

Yuval Noah Harari
suggests that Nationalism's
Big Three Nemeses are fear of
nuclear holocaust,
degenerative climate trends,
and Business As Usual disruptions
of eco-politically salvific technology.

When I first read this list
of his global Three,
the one that stood out
at least for me,
to potentially
break through our tendency
to see through lenses
nationalistically
is Earth's great climate pathology.

Still,
all three are LeftBrain dominant,
StraightWhiteMale privileged,
Patriarchal-Capitalist nationalistic systems
of scientific reductive-rooted secularism
and defensive
extractive-infested
militarism.

Aside from a home habitat
in WholeEarth Crisis,
extinguishing all hope
of future peace health
is our cooperative multicultural wealth
regeneration,
our ability to distinguish
which of these three
is most transparently
exploitive and disempowering
our SunShine EcoSystem,

To dialogically determine
which is most polyculturally vulnerable
to inflaming
already repressive Patriarchal/Capitalism,

Which is most unenlightened
and monotheistically RightWing
StraightWhiteMale
LeftBrain dominant

May also be the unholy Fascist fascinated
demonizing ecowomanist healthy choice
and Earth as sacred Goddess
panentheistically denying,
Holy Nature/Spirit indigenous defying,
climatically degenerative Nationalism, yes,
but also, more fundamentally dualistic,
AnthroSupremacism
over ecofeminist healthy wealth
of fertile sacred Earth

Where monoculturing climate "change"
may become most easily defined
by Yanged out RightWing predation
fueled by a competitive economy
of hierarchical
from-above produced
and massively media marketed scarcity,
rather than from-within
ecological healthy robust wealth integrity.

Then again,
I could also see win/win opportunity
for health as wealthy polycultural activity
in co-immigrating away from global fear
of nuclear nationalistic hostility

Emigrating toward global polypathic thrival
post-secularizing revival
of sacredly uniting cooperativity
principles of Eartherapeutic Energy
as healthy integral international democracy,

NonViolent Communication fueled
by
and for
and with Whole
Holistic
Holy EarthTribal
win/win systemic
authentic
intricate
exquisite sacred global integrity.

Premium Member Atheist Riddle

What is the difference between an atheist and a panentheist?

Atheists cannot discover any signs of divinity outside ourselves
While the panentheist uncovers what organizes interior landscapes
and exterior climates.

In Buddhism we have a principle of Emptiness
and a correlated principle of Interdependence.
Atheists stop rather abruptly with the Emptiness platform
while panentheists are bogged down by all us Interdependents,
sorting through co-dependent relationships
but without the therapy bills

Emptiness feels like an unfamiliar but theoretically endarkening relief,
like co-relational belonging
before association turns into sour longing loneliness.

So maybe a LeftBrain empty atheist
is also a RightBrain interdependent polytheist,
and the two together are a panentheistic Buddhist.

There is no inconsistency here.
just two faces of eternally timeless
human longing to divinely belong,
just as time is lost to sensory review
when it becomes most sacredly replete.

Other than that, one is harder to spell
and takes a whole lot longer to say.

Premium Member Appreciated Americans

My latest President
also appreciated Americans
he may never meet
or hear
or smell

Not to mention out to get
ever better tasted,
with or without informed consent,
not so vulnerably seen
or transparently felt
with copassioned
trauma-free intent,
yet not actually met,
just yet

And
I am confused
that any President would feel
he needs to say this,
as if appreciating Americans
were a partisan platform
advocating politically
and economically unusual
universal health
and safe global wealth
resiliently inclusive policy priorities

Sacredly patriotic
EcoMatriotic regard
for nutrition-based
economic historical
polyculturing
cooperative space
for competing against divisive time

Wu-wei YintegralPower/YangLight
sacred/secular
transubstantiating neuro-sensory
WinWin/WinLose/LoseLose
co-mediating
eco-political communication grace

I readily concede
this unbecoming space,
I could be wrong
but I can at least imagine
Donald Trump
feeling and believing,
although jaded
disappointed
and dispassionately,
that he appreciates
all those NonWhite
NonStraight
NonPatriarchal EcoFeminists
he has never met

And would just as soon
not change his monopolistic bliss
to CounterCulturally encounter Othering
dark ignorance,
just yet.

I don't know if it is a positive
or negative coronary corollary
to further extend
this metaphoric analogy

Yet Trump,
unlike Biden,
could never get
a multiculturally gifted American
he has not yet met

But I would bet
it would be hard to vet
EarthTribe residents
too healthy to ever regret
not having had the pleasure
of meeting many Trumpian Americans

Cold greetings
likely best to forget
we all come from somewhere

Matriarchally sacred
as an interdependent
health care safety net
includes imaginatively appreciating

All those Others Othering
unfertilized good eggs,
and thus not yet met.

Premium Member Disordered Sons and Fathers

May all sacred,
but not quite omnipotent,
fathers learn this day
as we impatiently correct
our stress-disordered sons

That respect is earned,
so maybe disrespect is too
positive and negative layered
for and against authority
for and sometimes restlessly against
repeating Business As Usual
white middle-class dadisms:

You snooze
you lose

May apply to your lethargic
chronically anxious
thuggish
couch-surfing
cannabis-fed son

And yet feels counter-intuitive
for babies
and us great grandads
who need our outside rest
away from commercial
too lit up
and loud
and relentlessly plastic
inhumane degradations

In such a rabidly anxious hurry
to wait for inevitable pandemics
and genocide,
floods
hurricanes
tsunamis
forest fires
drought
dry river beds
famine
insomnia
rabidity
insurance company bankruptcy
government balkanization
supremacist tribalism

Silent self-medicating snoozes
feels like a healthy alternative to:

capitalist narcissism
anthro-supreme monotheism
monoculturing nationalism
painful survivalist isolation
demented diseases
species extinctions
self v other criminalizations
weaponizations

May feel like hoarding safety
for defense-oriented males
on a bad day
in a depressing moment

Become
yackity yack disrespectful
feeling entitled to rightwing exclusively define
"real [unwoke narcissistic] men."

Yet quietly hiding
under these sacredly respected
and secular unrespected unsuspecting layers
of diverse manhood hues and warring cues
lie traumatizing patriarchal cultures.

Capital co-invested resilient climates
prefer cooperatively active integrity
over passive faith-based respect
and dramatically traumatic disrespect
and unenlightened
stress-triggered verbal unrespect
accelerating competitions,
dis-integrity
unhealthy desecrating excommunications.

Consecrating sacred solidarity feelings
learned today
converge synergetic need/want supportive
resonant polyvagal
resilient communication systems
searching for win/win reconnections

Even when sometimes disrespectfully correcting
my pre- and post-traumatic
stress disordered father
son.
