Atheist Riddle

What is the difference between an atheist and a panentheist?

Atheists cannot discover any signs of divinity outside ourselves
While the panentheist uncovers what organizes interior landscapes 
and exterior climates.

In Buddhism we have a principle of Emptiness
and a correlated principle of Interdependence.
Atheists stop rather abruptly with the Emptiness platform
while panentheists are bogged down by all us Interdependents,
sorting through co-dependent relationships
but without the therapy bills

Emptiness feels like an unfamiliar but theoretically endarkening relief,
like co-relational belonging 
before association turns into sour longing loneliness.

So maybe a LeftBrain empty atheist
is also a RightBrain interdependent polytheist,
and the two together are a panentheistic Buddhist.

There is no inconsistency here.
just two faces of eternally timeless
human longing to divinely belong,
just as time is lost to sensory review
when it becomes most sacredly replete.

Other than that, one is harder to spell
and takes a whole lot longer to say.

Stephen Pennell October 2, 2016 at 3:28 PM I look no deeper than there can be no creator when you see starving children, cancer, wars, etc you live you die the end As a way of life Buddhism as a lot to offer attended meditation classes for about 5 years and was impressed with the outlook on life. When I serve starving and permanently hurt children, when I watch the not-really-news-this-badness, when I struggle with public health care and health development security, and climate health v pathology, I cannot see or even hope to find an omnipotent creator, as we do not yet have omnipotently win-win ecopolitical creation-regeneration powers, or we do, together, but we have not yet sufficiently organized these cooperative economies into a global climate network for health sustainability.
