Best Richness Poems
He smiles at me.
As though the weight
Of psychedelic visions
Were insubstantial
And inconsequential;
A trivial thing.
Broad-shouldered emotions
Mushroom through
Organic momentum
To greet my pain,
A throbbing haze
That is my post-script.
Narcotic serenity
Wraps around my brain,
Slurring everything
In my tilt-a-whirl scene,
Until the funhouse
Sweeps me away.
I feel myself shrinking
Like Alice In Wonderland,
But I am not afraid
Of the beautiful myriad,
Understanding how addictive
Compulsiveness can be.
Opulent pleasure
Invades my space,
Stinging reality
With a new perspective,
Numbing submission
In a morphine choke-hold.
Sound and color bend,
A sensational delight
Of exotic flairs
And pendulums humming;
It’s unlike anything I’ve known
Except for his smile.

Free verse
The crave of the leaf to reach its goal
To capture the rays of the sun
As it enriches its soul
To live for a season
Greened full of life
At the end of it's cycle
It brings new life
Browned and creased
As it hangs by a thread
This canopy of life
In seasonal dead
Drifts to the ground
In a spiral twirl
Joining a carpet
On this earthen-ed world
Time will decay
This seasonal joy
Its nutrients left
Nature will re-employ
As Spring returns
And a new born is bloomed
Knowing that its future
Is already doomed

LORD, You have inspired me to depend on you,
Making me cleaner, simpler, smarter,
And the best in my field of interest.
The essential ingredients that You have given to me,
Are; Salvation, authority, gifts, talents, abilities,
And the great potential to produce,
to revolutionize my life and change even
The most difficult situation there is.
You have taught me how to meditate
And renewing my mind daily on
Your most holy words,
Trusting in You with all my heart,
Leaning not to my own understanding,
In all my ways acknowledge You,
And You will always direct my paths,
And my future will be successful,
For the blessing of the LORD,
It has made me rich,
And You have added no sorrow with it.

Verse
I've given up a lot
To fight for things that I believe in.
Now and then I've won,
But now and then I guess I've lost.
Always traveled lightly.
So many places that I've been.
I wonder sometimes
If the fight was worthy of the cost.
Coins are in my pockets,
But far less than I would like.
Many dreams I've had
That I'm sure never will not come true.
It's getting hard to walk.
Sure as hell can't take a hike.
But I am rich, my friends.
As long as I've got friends like you.

The richness of my love defies belief
Luxuriant and silky are my dreams
With warmth and passion sweet I hover near
Caressing hands and kisses flow in streams
I nourish hunger of the deepest kind
The darkest secrets of your soul reveal
No need to feel ashamed or hide away
Your brokenness with love I will conceal
The fantasy you dare not breathe a soul
For fear your need will meet unbending heart
Now whisper softy in my listening ear
And let me bring to life its every part
I am your Passion Queen, give in to me
Now part your lips and let me give a treat
Yes, take it in, and savor now my breast
For it’s been dipped in honey ever sweet
In jasmine perfumed bed now gently lie
As hands dripping with oil your body tease
Entangled in my hair, your hands command
My lips and mouth that hunger now to please
Desire will not wait a moment more
I give myself to you to be possessed
You sink into warm softness of my core
A mutual release of bodies pressed
My heart the only candle left to burn
Your body bathed, you’re now enticed to sleep
Before you’re whisked away to dreamland fair
I whisper promised love, an ocean deep

A spiritual richness blossoms within
When love is shared in a spiritual way
The moment selfish lust is cast aside
Giving His spiritual love a home to stay
For His Living words are very priceless
They are the truest of jewels to hold
They make your spirit to shine radiantly
Much brighter than diamonds or gold
Begin your day within His perfect blessing
Always seek His spirits love to daily hold
And wherever each day you might travel
Along side of you His spirit will also go
Remember love the Lord God with all your heart
With all your mind, and soul, and strength
And in keeping with that, love your neighbors
As yourself with the love within God did plant

Prose Poetry
The richness of life, its most intimate associations
are shared with a partner
as the smiles shine through and the laughter breaks out
yes, the Grand Canyon may be the perfect backdrop
but so may be a nifty dark little alley in the heart of Soho...
and when the tears well up in our eyes, it matters not
that Niagara Falls is in front of us, or whether we're on a park bench
somewhere
recalling loved ones who've stumbled and fallen prey to mortality
because the bond between us is unshakeable and without it
we can no longer imagine pressing on with this road trip we call Life

I do remember quietly,
In retrospective thought,
An innocence come eagerly
Where happiness is wrought.
And I unto my heart do speak
Each tender word in awe,
Of times when strong, of times when weak
In times of springtime thaw.
Each season vast and plentiful
With beauty long securing
Nature's pride so bountiful
In richness long enduring.

Ballad
Richness doesn't alway come from wealth
It can also come from knowing satisfaction
Creating a happiness that money cannot
Happiness produce it own valuable wealth
Enriching you with an endearing friendship
So when you place a value on something
Seek that which always enriches you richly

I.
When I left, something I forgot
Was you were there for me while I was not
There for you, standing by your side
I won’t run back anymore
II.
The happy place suddenly disappeared
Time won’t go on
And I’m finding time to grasp this feeling
This is what I got
Chorus
Please don’t forget, you’re all that I have I can’t let go
Please don’t regret, that I love you so
III.
It’s time to say goodbye
Don’t take it upon yourself, I take it upon myself
Things shouldn’t be like this
Don’t take it upon yourself, I take it upon myself
Bridge
Pray that things will get better
The sun is gone, the nights are long
Please tell me you’ll be at home
With me
Chorus

Immortal land awakes through dusk and dawn
Beneath ceiling spun sugar and midnight blue.
Winds breath trill of tiny song accrues through
ardent woodlands, rivers, and natures gentle fawns.

Nature will go on no matter what It will evolve
Immortal land awakes through dusk and dawn
Beneath ceiling spun sugar and midnight blue.
Wind's breath trill of tiny song accrues through
ardent woodlands, rivers, and natures gentle fawns.
Tears of life stream with allure and glamor
Dreams grow draping over nature's life in each
Branches newly bereft of leaves, tips reach
Gilded sunrise bonding souls and laughter
Ocean's emotion echoes deep shifting realm
Its grace untouchable in its deepest depth
As it attains its greatest heavens breadth
ancient secrets adhered on coral helm

It may sound foolish or even insane
to have a wish for richness or fame,
and it's perfectly normal and human
to long for things we don't have;
but it's morally wrong to use them
against others...for one's greed and gain!
That conviction comes from inside,
uncovering the unclearness of doubt...
without being afraid of answers so dark;
faith seems worthless without a vision in the mind..
be persistent in seeking gold with an enormous risk,
and many will try a thousand times until they find it!
A small seed will grow into a rich harvest...
sun-nurtured and rain-quencher before sunset,
and all these things you desire
are obtained through prayer;
don't heed the cynic's advice:
push forward with endless stride!
A wish for richness has different motives,
discard the unworthy ones, consider the good ones;
curiousity and effort make people successful,
'till their empty basket is completely full!
Never did I see believers struggle for food;
it was given because they bow down to a true God!
Real food comes from the fertile earth,
those who eat it will not know early death;
millions of people die from man-made diseases:
cigarettes, drugs, alchool, and promiscuous sex;
if these are to continue, there'll be no one left!
Be considerate of others...don't do anything
you don't want to be done to yourself;
have the kindest heart overflowing with giving:
never stop at anything, if someone laughs;
your determination is the result of dedication:
let all watch and envy you for your perception!

Ballad
A Samurai once went to a Zen Master,
Sad that Zen, not sword claimed much more esteem.
Look, he said, Moon's no scent but silver lustre;
Roses live with thorns, fragrant no less seem.
Comparison's root of great misery--
Why world's goodness fails to enrich its life.
For, plunged in presumed patterns most men see,
Not its poetry, they see only strife.
O haply rejoice in richness your own,
Rose never envies Moon, nor yet Moon rose,
Behind masked faces look at men nigh close,
Hid behind every smile there's muted moan.
If life gets stuck on to preconceived grooves,
Change perspective and look. Life's life if moves.
