Dark Night Dawn

DARK NIGHT’s DAWN

Recital of suffered wrongs will not repeal
the sickness of the spirit’s darkened night
But confession of cause may heal and reveal
the dew upon the rose in morning light.

If sorrow cloaks the surface of your soul
And chills the warmth that turns your wishes cold,
Unchain the hidden anguish in your hold,
Releasing tethered truths that must be told.

Your clever wisdom, once conceived as real,
So blinded you to feelings kept concealed.
Inducement starts when you at last repeal
The law you self imposed, a false ideal.

Beginning chapter one you sense a start.
Ahead we veer, adjust and reembark.
In time the doubts will pass, from our concern,
Devotion grows in knowledge two must learn.

A flaming passion, uncontrolled, will die.
Insightful ones will dodge the seering light.
The quantity is not where truth abides,
The quality is where forever lies.

Hostile Head Takeover Part 2

A din ensued
my imaginary brood
with a good dose of misapprehension
hauled out their toys
and with a deafening noise
held band practice to demand my attention

My head resounded
I was astounded
as my voices insisted space be freed
then took up position
for a spit competition
unless their demand I would heed

"Spit all you may
I refuse to be swayed
back to your cupboard, skeleton folk
all was well hitherto
with my self-made crew
till my head friends you chose to provoke."

"Dear host, you're unfeeling
to your good sense we're appealing
repeal the bones' non grata status
or your imaginary crew
will hold a coup
assisted by our posse comitatus."

"Skeletons and friends
your logic transcends
admittedly you've much courage and clout
I'll have to engage
with our very own sage
the inimitable Shadow of Doubt.

"After due consultation
and much deliberation
Shadow and I decision had reached
you may rant; you may rave
do the Mexican wave
yet still be punished for my rules you have breached.

"The imagineries and Hubbard
to inhabit the cupboard
access to my head is forever denied
you skeletons will hoard
keep my secrets well-stored
in my head where you henceforth will reside."

There's no happy ever after
my world is now dafter
cramped, the skeletons keep knotting their chains
with more space at hand
my imaginary band
multiplied. I'm now doubly insane

(From Lestat, my vampire chronicles poems)

Silently the night again by me creeps in...
Evoking all these confusing feelings I need to conceal
Thoughts and dreams filled of doom, all of sudden begin

To change me into this hideous creature I cannot din
This thirst for new blood is in me now reveal
Silently the night by me creeps in...

I live on human blood and that's my curse, my sin
Lurking in the shadows to get my next meal
Thoughts and dreams filled of doom all of sudden begin

All my life dreams had just fade in...
Now I'd become this monster I come to repeal
Silently the night again by me creeps in...

Going for a kill every night again and again
Knowing things all the time I cannot reveal
Thoughts and dreams filled of doom of sudden begin...

I,Louis, doing what I have to, to survive in
My life had been sealed with things I have to conceal
Silently the night again by me creeps in...
Thoughts and dreams filled of doom all of sudden begin...

The Nocturnal Regime

Diurnal, nature's early damsel,
donned in dew and vivid peach,
I am in need of dawning's candle;
humor me as I beseech.

Amidst thy gown I often ponder,
musing on the great "to be."
'Tis true, in thought I tend to wander
when amongst thy company.

Alas, Nocturnal's robe lies rigid
on the quarters of my sleep!
His garb represses thought--so frigid
are the kernels of my keep!

I can no longer bear the torment
that escorts a smothered mind,
for when one sleeps with theory dormant--
evening peace one cannot find.

Why doth such darkness bear a beacon
brilliant like a sterling gem?
Why doth such radiance not weaken
what I feel when cloaked by him?

Dost not thou give the moon its polish,
though the distance holds thy light?
If so, then with that sphere, abolish
all his sabotage tonight!

Too long have I, a pensive person,
been condemned to sleep as such.
I wish for not my rest to worsen:
won't thou reprimand his touch?

I beg of thee: repeal my prison,
purge me of its blank regime,
and grant my slumber nightly visions--
be they sweet or bitter dreams!

In the halter of destiny, we are all bound.
A monody of souls dissemble and found
With every lynch of trice vicious hand,
We quest to the ossuary of the apex land.

Yet in this hoedown of life and death,
We descry trices to canonize our breath.
In the equidistant cuddle, we share,
We ascertain solace in the clad of despair.

Through brittle nights and rallying days,
We quest to unfetter from the maze.
Omega awaits to clarify our fate.
Ablaze of stinging anguish, we can't abate.

Inanimate entities, ephemeral, and plain,
As a ripple of anguish sways, weep in pain
Aside from that, the cosmic harbinger sky
Espies our destruction with a silent sigh.

An epidemic of metempsychosis,
We inherit the legacy of pestilence psychosis.
On hiemal days and hibernal nights,
We bear the stature of sorrow's bite.

In every epoch of fugacity,
We quest for repeal—a wink of clarity.
Bequeath and madness, we strive to overcome
Nocuous menace to switch what we've become.

We often embellish it as life is so anxious.
Our roots still hold the pinnacle to progress.
Decisiveness, anguish, and an urge to revoke.
Lead exposure us to a nonlethal stroke.

The dance of life and death is an exquisite art.
Delight and anguish entwine—never apart.
At the pinnacle of this poetic tale,
We ascertain that life's heirloom prevails.

Though pestilence and grief endeavor to bind,
We have the incite to bequeath them all behind.
So let us dance, with hearts bridled high.
Embracing the madness as we reach for the sky

Broken Bleeding Heart

"When everything that ticked—has stopped—
And Space stares—all around—
Or Grisly frosts—first Autumn morns,
Repeal the Beating Ground—" Emily Dickinson

I can't hear the beat of my own heart, it was silenced between the gasps of your last breaths and the touch of time as they stripped you of life. I remember standing there holding your hands as they fell from grip, resting atop your chest. I still see you there, like a shadow on a moonlit wall, distorted darkness that bends in the wind's call. The trees dance in its gossamer breath, much like my mind in its recollection, as their leaves twirl around and then spiral down towards the ground. They are more grounded than I am these days, I seem to get lost in the frame of memories that Autumn always brings forth. I hear you whisper my name in fragmented frames of mind as I bleed August across the folds of life and death.

                             drops of crimson fall
                       like autumn leaves upon ground
                         my heart bleeds the same

"Sticks and stones may break our bones,
But like new, they'll mend and heal.
Words can break our hearts and spirits,
Leaving wounds beyond repeal."

Remember, use some thought and care
Before thy swords unsheathe;
Review thy weapons carefully
Before you thrust, bequeath.

Words can so elate us,
Bring joys without measure,
Cradling us in Love and kindness,
Become our cherished treasure.

But words can epitomize
Deep chasms of despair,
Chisel away our hearts and souls,
Causing pain we cannot bear.

So, let's remember this.
For the targets that we seek,
Choose our words more wisely
And think before we speak.

"The careless aim of a thoughtless tongue
Can deeply wound an innocent one."

  Marvelous! Wonderful! Delightful!
    These words enchant the heart
      but haunt the mind
The truth about them is quite unkind

They mean something to no one
    nothing to everyone
  No matter their intrinsic appeal
sans detail to earn their repeal
    their exuberance mocking, unreal

Self reliancy stimulates political independence,
pragmatic critical thinking spurs revocation of spurious Partisan information,
vigilanteism guards against the Juntas,
systematic interdiction of peoples' ability to to procure food, self educate,
self medicate, and to self defense is a vital instrument in disabling citizens' morale,

it is true that several Companies provide 'civil rights' that are subject to repeal,
but these liberties must conform to security & production for the State,
the more detached we become from the land the more immense our collective ignorance,
Will to struggle recedes like red from the dying rose, spirit is sterile,
sciences are employed to subvert the passion of men, to mire the maternity of women,
to emasculate the youth, to assault the temperance of ladies,
as the bison were decimated so to fascilitate the conquest of the feral Indian,
the Anglo-Saxon farmer & tradesman were displaced by manipulated Markets,
corporations rabid with greed, fawning to increase world trade
and to blowt stock exchanges, enlarging theaters of war & dictating foriegn policies,
an arsenal & circus of judges, lawyers, politicians, academics, entertainers,
elastic options such as Inflation, minting money, loans, and criminal dockets,
Abraham Lincolon & John Kennedy desired to reestablish democratic banking
and were both slain as dangerous heros,
cartel suzerainity always wins,

an agrian ethos is too intractable an opponent for oligarchial commerce,
as laws are ineffectual to dissuade a starving man, leaves don't stop the rains,
there is no need for insatiable government when one can grow crops, build homes & and micro manufacturies, where trade is honest& equitable, no swindles,
division of labor for maximum productivity at the expense of individual health,
eradication of heritage to ease trade, passivity in exchange for integrity,
can libertarianism be retrieved from the vice of the mold maker,
will we deliver this odious model into the depths of the galaxy,
will there always be captivity,
regulated life is controlled life, and that is enslaved living,
words ' make the world go round ',
we are subjects of international law codes,
Freedom dwindles -

Premium Member Words That Make You Feel

You seemed to love me and I thought it was real,
Young and foolish, I was so naive but quite genteel,
Attended all your ballgames, cheered you on with zeal,
Even learned curling so we could join your bonspiel.
I played your queen at functions, you had a great deal,
Said you loved me once, I thought that was the seal.
After your presidency was done, you played the heel,
Said it was over between us, our situation was not ideal,
Your expression was matter of fact, your face cold as steel,
Suddenly I felt nauseous my world spinning like a wheel,
Looking in your eyes, this whole courtship was surreal.
Did everything you asked of me, my love I cannot repeal,
Could anyone truly love you more, that was my appeal.
For once you became quiet, this relationship a lying ordeal,
My words, my actions ~ If all I did, was make you feel.

Premium Member Okay Then, Alright Then, Toodle-Loo, Bye-Bye

“Okay then, alright then, toodle-loo, bye-bye!”
Sure love to hear that again
My first wife would end each phone conversation
With this familiar old refrain

Once uttering these words of sheer finality
It was over, finis, a done deal
Even though their words are heard trailing off
Time's up, no chance to repeal

Was definitely over when this sweet lady quoted
These charming memorable words
Am I dreaming or did I actually just hear them again
Can't be true, that's totally absurd!

“Okay then, alright then, toodle-loo, bye-bye!”
Sure love to hear that again
Life has moved on but love to hear them once more
That familiar sweet old refrain

Send Him Down, Let Justice Be Done

"send him down" LET JUSTICE BE DONE.

"send him down "spoke the head of talking wool.
the victims crowd cheering at a volume suitable to fit the crime.
the judge looks lost with his last boom of the gavel.
another day, another life lost to life.
but life don't mean ten years or more.
he's done two on remand, and will be free in five more.
life don't mean love no more.
the rich fly the sky's as the poor share the floor.

"we'll appeal and repeal"said the barristers stare.
matched timidly back by the broken man's glare.
the crime he'd comited was to want to survive.
he fought his attackers and paid with two lives.
should he have laid still there and died?
and had he died there and laid.
would justice have come and made his child less afraid?
would confusion have gone up in smoke with the blame?

"we love you and miss you"read the letter of volumes.
the solicitors are writing through a red taped army.
here are some kisses from us all for you to consume.
your name will be upheld and no longer tarnished.
we love you old fool like the wind loves the rain.
like the birds and the sun, we'll rise together again.
untill that day dawns let hope be your sun.
send him back up,LET JUSTICE BE DONE.

Premium Member Missing Frankenstein's Monster

I used to dream of Frankenstein
When certain of some future glitch,
Now Donald Trump is Valentine
Of House’s Paul and Senate’s Mitch.

Yes, Trump is monster in this farce
Paul crazy-science, Mitch Igor,
The humor good though logic’s sparse,
Bombastic lies that fools adore.

Trump charges others with his crimes,
First charge makes echo sound remiss,
You sigh and blame it on the “Times”
Until he fondles what’s not “hiss.”

Yelled “Crooked Hill” till he was hoarse,
But still can’t make the charges stick
Has yet to share all incomes source,
He promised both, is Trump just “Dick?”(1)

Foundation that the Clintons formed,
With no malfeasance, quid pro quo,
The Trump foundation we’re informed
Thinks “Charity” just word you know.

Trump promised he’d pay for campaign,
So he’d be free of other’s sin...
Loaned funds instead, slight chance of pain
“Repaid” himself as “gifts” came in.

Can no one beat them at their game?
Or slow them as they stack the deck,
By cheating on Obama’s claim,
They plot the constitution’s wreck.

Where’s leadership to sooth and heal
Divided Nation held in thrall?
New leaders seek just to repeal,
The egotist, Neanderthal.

Now nepotism goes unchecked,
Can rich really restrain the rich?
Poor Tsar become our architect.
Whose head shares hole with ostrich.

You voted for him, now pay price,
Can coup be all that far away?
Your children’s lives the sacrifice,
Until then have a happy day!

Veterans Courtyard

Put forth, in some array, to just regroup
the Senior's left, advantages the soup,
that healing art, asunder, wages loop
sits idly by, while effort leads the coup!

Not merely mass destruction, pieces youth
some beauty, just assumption, wrath's uncouth
the topping of life's gumption, stilled to view
as war less, time is drifting, in a groove!

A court of trial, as often times the tread
is just a nod away, a smiled imbed
that recognition's foundling, further read
the stupor of forgetting, files with fret!

Is aging the encumbrance, or faith's dread
to see the children, numbered to exceed
and then the effort, slumbered to recede
some patronizing's drummer that repeats!

Our countryside a wonder, Spring's reprieve
as effort left to nature feels the beat
my soul's encounter jumbled by retreat
the golden years, so compromised to meet?

Would march my errors dunder to the street
in trust's consideration of my years,
the stumble, now the victor, if be sweet
the victories confirm, fear obsolete!

Ne'er ending, the encounter of entreat
what Kingly entourage, I would entail
the nourishment of fondness, so completes
my resolute encounters not assail!

O'er love, the vestige flounders with repeal
swear not the victim, scoundrel's filing scorn
to overcome the sound rolls not congeal
and liven beauties heart skoal . . . . moments stored!
