People keep telling me
What I am supposed to be
 But what I want to be
But what I want to be
 Not what you tell me
So

I rely on
The Father whose the author
 And finisher of our faith
So I go on
Don't tell me that I'm not worth it
Because I am more Worthy
Cuz I am here people keep telling me
That I am not saved
Because of the way I behave
And I am not doing like you do
Your doctrinal views
Get a clue

People keep telling me
 What I am supposed to be
But what I want to be
But what I want to be
Not what you tell me
So I rely
On the Father who's the author
And finisher of my faith
 so I go on I rely on my God

Those Who Rely On Government

Anferny was convinced that all
his problems were due to his skin,
he’d been told by teachers, and his mom,
that there was just no way to win.
He grew up believing he was part
of an awful, bigoted nation,
that he could never survive without
hand-outs and reparations.
He never tried to keep a job,
wouldn’t be caught ‘acting white,’
believed that he was a victim,
an thus had extra moral ‘rights.’
Spent all his days scraping by
on a meager monthly check,
turned to drugs to hide the fact
that his whole life was a wreck.
On welfare until he was forty,
when an overdose his heart rent,
Anferny relied on the government,
Anfery died on the government.

Savannah, she was quite a beauty,
and knew that fact all too well,
she battled her lashes and the boys
ran up as if she’d rung a bell.
But she believed she ‘needed no man,’
and always flitted from guy to guy,
content to ride on the carousel,
seeking nothing but a good time.
Until one day she was thirty-six
and decided to find a husband,
but her looks had faded noticeably,
she could no longer hook a man.
With no real skills to fall back on,
she turned desperately to the state,
she later died, alone and poor,
found with her cats eating her face.
Her final decades spent miserably,
living on other folk’s dollars and cents,
Savannah relied on the government,
Savannah died on the government.

Paul fought for his county overseas,
he did all his country could ask,
never a foe did he let escape,
he took our enemies to task.
He came home and live his life,
made good money as an auctioneer,
until three years later when he went
to a veteran’s doctor in fear.
He’d found a lump, and the biopsy
showed it to be a malignant growth,
a cancer that was aggressive,
it was a hard and heartbreaking blow.
They began chemotherapy,
but they started it too late,
because of bureaucratic fools
who'd made a paperwork mistake.
By the time they got it right
his last remaining strength was spent,
Paul had trusted in his government,
Paul died on his government.

Rely On My Ally

Rely On My Ally

Once upon you we start to rely,
You surely will become my ally;
Be my fine friend,
That will not end;
Together rules with we do comply.

Who Knows Why On God Rely

when your cat may die
God who on always rely
always will know why

you must understand
God who made all of the land
is in the beach sand

have to pay our dues?
love is the word God will use
to explain His news

even though you wait
God knows what will be your fate
with Vet set a date

Rely On Ally

Rely On Ally

On an ally should be able to rely;
Later may have desire to deny;
Around bush beat;
Then did repeat;
Hope we can figure out reason why.

Rely On Failure

Dark circles where my eyes should be,
go ahead and disappoint me
I have come to rely on your failure,
like a bird relying on a broken wing
My heart a wreck of what it once was
Peeling back my skin, you can see this mess
Unfulfilled I live out my nightmare,
knowing I will never find that place of joy
The place of peace where both of us can live
No, it doesn't exist and it could never
We are the perfect example of misery
You need someone nothing like me
I need someone nothing like you
A pretty face, a constant grace
With the strength to give up everything
We are the perfect example of misery

On Poets Rely

On Poets Rely

On poets rely;
Should not ever have to die,
When hard we do I try.

to comfort each other.

On Trump Hard To Rely

On Trump Hard To Rely

No matter how hard I will ever try,
On Trump found him hard to rely;
What we hear,
Pain in rear;
He should be impeached by and by.

Rely On Me

A shot in the dark.
Alone in the world.
No one to talk to
And no one to hold.
So blame everyone

For your bad life.
See how that goes.
You won't get far.
It will get worse.

Happiness
begins when
you rely

On the
One, true

Rely On People To Pacify

Rely on People to Pacify

On many people we would rely,
Who apparently us can pacify;
Peace and quiet;
Want to try it,
And sad for those who did die.

Rely Upon Yourself

Imaginary
Like a shadow on the wall
That is closing in
And when your back's against it
You realize "I'm alone"

Rely

Rely

Sometimes I want to cry
Sometimes I ask myself why
Sometimes I don't understand sometimes I don't understand but sometimes
 I feel like I had a plan
so what do I do and what do I say do I keep it balded in or do I release it and let it go away. Problems we don't have to solve them
 there's only one person who can
 And it's not the people on land
yes I know things will get hard
but when they do just rely on God

Chorus
rely on him
he's the one who can
change things
including this land
rely on him
that's my advice
put your trust in God and Jesus Christ

Verse 2
battling problems on a daily basis
I don't understand why the smile on faces
you have to know
have to understand God
don't try to handle it yourself
you make it hard
so what do you say
when you said all you can
what happens when
you can't demand
what do we do
do we sit and stare
do we acknowledge
that God was always there

Chorus
rely on him
he's the one who can
change things
including this land
rely on him
that's my advice
put your trust in God and Jesus Christ

hook
anyone that is going through it
at this time
the Lord has you covered
you will be just fine
anyone that's going through it
at this time
the Lord has you covered
will be just fine

Chorus
rely on him
he's the one who can
change things
including this land
rely on him
that's my advice
put your trust in God and Jesus Christ

We Must Rely

We Must Rely

Rain drops and dew drops are always falling,
And Christ our savior to us is now calling;
He wants you to listen and also hear;
Never forget Him and have no fear.

Be like a babe who is first born;
See all around you what does adorn,
Every cranny and each nook,
And words read in bright, new book.

When you have read and reach the end,
And understand what God does intend
To do with us when we live and die,
On God forever we must rely.
