Premium Member The Gift of Quietness

The gift of quietness, sometimes ignored,
may go unclaimed throughout our busy day.
Unless that time of stillness is embraced,
we'll miss our joy to share in the reward.

The gift of quietness- its silent song-
can play to calm our weary hearts and minds.
   The empty silence spreads tranquility
to balance yin and yang where they belong.

The gift of quietness- its emptiness,
grants fullness of an aura without sound
that soon uplifts the spirit once again
to face our busy lives with happiness.

Quietness

I liked to be quiet,
In a white ferry, between Brittany and England,
Quietness is a precious diamond
To offer to a new girl, or a cat,
I like to be quiet, everywhere,
In a Syrian garden, when the sun freeze the time,
I like stillness of grass in the city,
Il like to be quiet, now and here,
Like a summer road in the desert,
Asking for nothing more, that the buzz
Of a bee, or the gasp of a summer wind.

Premium Member Voice of Quietness

One of the keys to happiness is mental quietness
The splendor of a full moon hung in the darkness
Orchards of lovely colors and textures, readiness.
Delightful rapt echoes of a vivacious life sweetness

Premium Member In Quietness Divine

in quietness divine
   the xanthous zephyr balm
      a citrusy ascent
         to sip on Summer’s tea
            a lovely day is spent

               in quietness divine
         a fine fettle of dreams
      the fantasy, a soak
   an Autumn bath of leaves
the stately sigh of oak

in quietness divine
   by brandy quell of warmth
the crunch of hooves in snow
         a pen and paper touch
            and subtle shade aglow

                    in quietness divine
               calm wings with songs enchant
all Spring is kin of dawn
      behold a lake with swans
pink petals on rose lawn

Blessed Quietness, What

this quietness i have presently
it's not a form of deafness
an absence of sound all around
everything quiet not a sound
silence a hum no beat of a drum
no bumps or squeaks no vibrations
stillness unmoved music ungrooved
this nothingness created by sound
it's lights darkness and scentless air
it's reaching to feel yet nothing is there
a tasteless void that leaves me annoid
an empty barren collection of sences
living alone i don't hear a phone
or answer friendly letters
nobody calls or cares if i fall
and find that my heart has been shattered
this numbing void was hard to avoid
it came little by little each day
what ever happened i don't know
just one by one noises went away
i long to hear the screams of children
i moved so far away from
i miss the shouting of restless teens
that misguided generation
i wish for once i'd married
when i had the chance
my long long search for peace and quiet
has come to a terrible end
if i could do it all again
and have just one more chance
id cherish all the noises
and would have kept one good friend

Valiant Quietness

Brave and noble knight
Afraid to admit defeat
Lonely silent death

Quietness

God is unseen,
Air cannot be seen either,
Walk blindly through the darkness of the night.
Seeing nothing in sight.
Quietness is passed by where loudness is recognized every time.
Only if quietness was seen?
Where would the quietness take you?
To places you have never seen?
But for the time being I live in the quietness
I am the one who takes in all of God’s glories
Regardless if quietness means being invisible to many.

Breaking the Quietness

At dawn all is discreet,
All roads are ready quiet,
All the streets are silent,
Quietness reigns universally.

Birds in the bush are benumbed.
Various sounds transcend the land,
As the light grows, the day wakes up,
The sun will build to sting and stump.

Sparrows are now singing in trees.
Pedestrians are passing to invade the streets.
You see one, two and three cars,
And the noise is building in ears.

Together with the folks’ voice,
The sleeping noise is woken up.
So, quietness becomes bumpy,
But we’ll familiarize and go for life

Premium Member Lulled To Quietness

Dawn peeks and kisses the morning sun
clouds hang suspended from the heaven's
wind takes a breath and gently blows
sunlight dances creating silhouettes
as shadows slowly meander by
emerald leaves covered with cool mist
awaken to the amber rays
high tide with its foaming jealousy
swoops across the weeping shores
pounding waves roll in hypnotic beats
white sand calms and dries the tears
all lulled into serenity.

The Alarming Quietness

A long peacefulness,
May signal a sudden break,
Of open ire freak.

Feel Quietness ---- Saraband Sonnet : French Style

Sometimes we observe a great sense
of negativity arise,
feel pressure in mind, so intense;

Try to believe life with no love;
baffled, demoralized kind of
pulling down our proven mindset
feel stunned, visualize false threat.

But, surrender needs no defense
to HIM, despair vanishes; wise
thoughts appear, life's trueness commence.

Practise silence taking sort of
break from social networks thereof
to feel quietness, peace; forget
for few days using internet.

Premium Member Fall In Quietness

Fall, fenced lane, warm sun,
leaves rain except for one.

Gnarly tree stretch out limb
reaching free, soften dim.

Somber swing hangs alone,
wish children bring, grace shown.

Premium Member Quietness

Net like fog covers crevices
Encroaches upon daylight
Delayed light waits to break horizon
Ending fog's gripping might

In the fog there is this sense of
Solitude entertained
As crickets chatter to their neighbor
And roosters' crows remain

A sense of peace settles and feeds
The spirit is nourished.
Quietness deepens a sense of worth
In stillness a spirit can flourish

Blessed Quietness God Brought To My Soul

Blessed Quietness… God Brought To My Soul!

It’s blessed quietness that God
brought to my soul.
His blessed peace and love
has made me whole!

It was everlasting love, that
 I and God were “acquainted.”
Now a new life in my heart has
 been “freshly painted.”

It was his eternal grace that brought
 me to my knees.
I asked him to refresh me,
 like a cool summer breeze.

It was his gentle voice that called
out my name.
The joy he’s brought me,
is kind of hard to explain.

It’s the same God who extends
 an invitation to you!
Won’t you trust him?
He will never fail you!

He is and will always be
the one I’ll need.
I shall follow him whatever
 direction he may lead.

The quietness he brings calms
 life’s stormy sea.
And lets me know he’s
 always there for me!

By Jim Pemberton

In the Quietness of My Silence

All by myself again; alone with my thoughts that are dancing forward and
backwards in my mind of things and events of the past-mistakes I have made;
regrets, decisions favorable; unfavorable; joys, sorrows, pains, and hurts-
wondering how my life might have been different If.......................

Oh! What futile ness in the quietness of my silence! What's the use in looking
back though? What can I change? What's done is done! And so.........
Of the wrongs, I repent; I turn; I leave it behind! I change my posture; I shake off
the shackles; I press forward to move on to the greater, the more enhanceable-
that which will lead me to a more prosperous, happier, rewarding place and
space in time--

To a life in the present that is worthwhile and fulfilling. A life of love, peace, joy
and genuine happiness. A life where every need is met in abunance with whole
baskets left over to share with others who are in need; and my desires are
granted in immeasurable quantities according to the Creator's perfect will and
purpose for my life.

The present where I am whole in spirit, mind, and body; in thought, word, and
deed; a place where all things are made to work together for my complete and
ultimate good; a place where love rules and reigns without dissimulation; a
place of no pretense, no guile, and no deceit; a place of power, of wisdom and a
sound, sober mind, uninhibited by foreign, outside agents that create a psuedo-
sense of genuine sublimity; a place of perpetual ecstacy-a life of bliss. A life of
balance. A life of truly living not just existing; not merely surviving but a life of more
than enough. A life of no lack. A life of increase spiritually, mentally, physically
and financially elevated to the maximum power of ten to the tenth power-----

Thus making my future bright, sensational, successful and dominated with and
in immeasurable blessings that make me and others around me rich, adding no
sorrow with it, for I am blessed and blessed indeed so that I might be a blessing
and a blessing indeed to others to the Glory of All Mighty God.
