Walls of silence hold,
Me prisoner,
The child held within,
Cries out for release.
Relative solitude comforts,
Not the tortured soul,
Inward coiling withdrawing,
Deep inside.
Shedding its outer skins,
Protective
Layer thus preserving its,
Inner being.
Innocents shroud lies in ruins.
Gentle spirit, cast aside wings,
Damaged appendages.
The fallen angel kneels in,
Shame,
Shadows before mankind.
Unanswered prays rest upon,
Deaf ears.
Muted sobs, echo on stilled,
Winds breath.
Hardening to stone, the
Chilled heart
Reflects frozen repose.
Forgotten amongst mine own,
Kindred,
Childhood symbolizes a betrayed,
Victim’s refuge.
Small fragile hands reach out,
Into nothingness,
Hollow space grasping into,
Oblivion.
Chained shackles twist,
Imaginations warped view,
Somber tones cloud troubled,
Thoughts.
Amidst life's trials, I'm aimlessly,
Adrift,
Without any form of stability.
I, alone remain shambles,
Wreckage.
Displaced and damaged,
Beyond repair.
A broken doll thrown away,
By those who should have,
Cared for her the most.

Free verse
Place parsed pennies, purposely upon pretty porcelain palms.
The wanderer, restrained her raised ranting wrists!
She fell to her Humpty Dumpty position,
unable to ever be put back together again...
Each of us witnessed her fall,
yet we failed to gather those colourful leaves.
I believe we could have laid them at the base of her wall.
She sees the trees as he increases her diseases.
Deepening predatory penetrations as he pleases!
Cracking, fracking, hating, taking, and breaking.
Bringing about disappearing, as pain stains, her shamed awakening!
If we could have, would we have, mournfully watched?
Or instead, would we have held her wrists,
pulled at reddened panties, excruciated her sufferings?
Instead, we placated horrific tugged observations,
waited, pretended to see nothing,
drank our mocha-chino from starry cups!
we sat and licked our lips to the calming sound of muzak,
preferring voyeuristic aristocracy.
Oh how she cursed his kissing and biting,
the sucking of her Texan black gold!
All the while he praised her caged loins,
filling a billion barrels with her oil...
Until the time her flame set fire to his cursed wanting!
Until she summoned the winds from the east.
It was time to birth the spawn of his treachery.
Lava poured forth from mountainous risings!
He must suckle upon her displeasure,
until like creosol, his noxious presence,
combines with his own wasted wood.
Thus preserving his monumental failures,
encasing them within layers of his strangled death!
A voice called out from the West, "Where is the foolish man?
Who is left to sing about his great accomplishments?
His peculiar monuments have been laid to waste,
not a single brick remains in it's place."
No one is left to excavate the woeful forgotten.
She "Mother" seeps into the soil to reclaim his blood,
her womb is once again fertile.
She asks "Do we wish to begin again?"
The start of a great pause stings her ears!
She looks and understands,
"It is no longer good.”

Among the living is where perfection is found.
Stoicism is a path of life that acts as dull ground.
The advice is to focus on the bright side of life.
Dispel the negativity, and let vanish all strife.
Inciting people to enhance their morality
To foster resilience in the face of adversity.
Strengthening your resolve and impediment
Beat iconoclastic wits for a fine pediment.
Grasp of the overarching rationality
Sustaining integrity even amid adversity
The Stoic Path is a philosophy of such depth.
With wisdom and tranquility in your breadth
Life taught us to persist in the face of hardship.
To sustain balance while still preserving worship.
Maintain calmness under challenging conditions.
Surmount your inhibitions and avoid suspicion.
And to welcome fulfillment with dignity.
Handle highs and lows with stoic sympathy.
Stoicism, truly, provides solace and calm.
A way of living that allows us to fully qualm.
How? By concentrating on our inner proclivity.
And shedding our bonds is an act of loyalty.
We are liberated from the bonds of conflict.
And accept a promising, significant life profit.
The Stoic Way is a philosophy with lofty stature.
steers our deeds into an improved, sound future.
Integrity and prudence in the face of misfortune
To mold ourselves and have a vital life and fortune.

"Join hands to sweep clean of all dirt and preserve the pristine beauty of Nature to enhance the quality of living. If not, fear her lashing us black and blue"
-by poet
Nature, you are God’s lovely creation,
Dressed in grandeur, decked in regal beauty
You give us much scope for recreation,
Preserving your grace becomes our duty
Poets chant and sing in honor of you,
Sages withdraw to your silence serene,
Beasts and birds have found you as their sweet home,
Men find their sustenance and thrive on you,
Dales and hills – add to your bright sheen
The sky with its stars form your golden dome
Dark forests and running brooks lend you charm,
Deep Ravines spell your profound mystery.
It’s our duty to save you from all harm
Sometimes you baffle with your trickery
Always kind you are, yet some brutish men,
Dismally assault you, they maim and mar,
They suck your life sap – they leave you dry,
They keep on committing sin after sin
Your beautiful frame, to pieces they tear
With their selfish acts, badly mortify
You were once so temptingly beautiful
You could amaze and take our breath away
Looked so elegant, lovely and graceful
In scenic beauty, you could proudly sway
You were Princess of royal lineage
Been decked in brilliantly colorful shade
But your thankless children carelessly spread
Toxic fumes, carbon and dirty garbage
And all your wealth they callously invade
They will ooze out your blood and cast you dead!

Ode
I'm that my words and pen can't express my weakness.
Nobody could have foreseen I felt such happiness.
My bald secret is now included in my poetic liveness.
I'm at a loss for words to define my soulfulness.
All that I do for you is for you and your uniqueness.
To be clear, you were born to bestow our joyfulness.
Had sent a blessing to us thanks to God's holiness.
Son, you depict nicely how a son may have lightness.
My duty will always be to offer you matchless.
If you're in the lamest rule, you deserve my promptness.
You lifted my artwork to an extreme level of skillfulness.
Everywhere I fit, you seem to follow me with firmness.
Regardless of where I am or how I manage my illness.
The ghost that lurks within me is a mystic elusiveness.
Of inspiration and creativity that is in my mind flawless.
It just takes one look to confer my focus and cleanliness.
Claim anything you envy, but don't leave me clueless.
Yet, I am aware of how grateful you are for my lavishness.
Even the urge to craft your own way has uniqueness.
With all my resources, knowledge, and awareness.
All have a role to play in preserving our rising family spotless.
Sway to the beat of my soul and embrace my closeness
Allow yourself to widen your eyes; your destiny will be harmless.
I drew the full moon for you to retain your greatness.
Without question, I admire you for your graciousness.
My son, I'll outline your disparity and avail your tactfulness.
I meant to say that you sparked my thoughtfulness.
Consider that I'm always aware of your level of attentiveness.
I can tell from our relationship around gleefulness.
Even if I die, you will have a piece of my warm-heartedness.

Who first thought to eat cornbread with chili?
And who first thought to add ketchup to fries -
Who first thought to put that bell in Philly -
And who first thought that yeast could make bread rise?
Who first coupled Abbott with Costello -
And who knew whiskers looked so good on codgers -
Who first added fruit to cherry Jell-O
And who first paired up Hammerstein with Rodgers?
Who first peanut butter'd up some jelly -
And who first thought to eat breakfast in bed -
Who made that first Reuben in their deli -
And who suggested Ginger dance with Fred?
Who first thought that tea could use some honey -
Who first put together nails and wood?
Fine folks - all; and yes, it may seem funny
But I should like to meet them if I could.
Now who first put the moon and stars together -
Who put lush green hills under blue skies -
Who made sunshine follow rainy weather -
And who first fashioned beauty for our eyes?
The same One who brought you into my life,
He knew we'd be just right for one another
He knew that we would be husband and wife
Before He formed each of us in our mother.
Great is the One who makes one out of two
Preserving them through sickness, joys, and tears
He knew that you'd need me and I'd need you
I thank Him for our many happy years.

I was an experienced family therapist, helping families maintain functionality,
As wandering, starlit seasons maintain all nature, being rooted in practicality.
I loved preserving healthy relationships, that foundation of healthy societies;
And kept up a fruitful dialogue between the families, which relieved anxieties.
I, myself, had come from a happy home, never causing huge worries or fears,
For dear ones that I loved, never seemed to be leaving, as silvery cloud tears.
Friends dropped by like colorful fall, never failing to fetch the fondest smiles,
In the midst of a watchful, apricot noon, when rouge butterflies were in exile.
Family flew past fluffy clouds each fall, when autumn was pretty and frumpy,
Like field blossoms of windswept fragrance, elegantly disheveled and grumpy.
I lived in the house of sweet memories, and smiling faces on rose hued walls,
As rouge sun swims in roses nightly, prior to descending the precipitous falls.
Street performers were small, singing sparrows, on my swank avenue of sun;
Like a solo turns into a chorus, creating a prettier song-more elegantly done!
Nearsighted neighbors came to see me nights, and gaze at nacre pearl moon,
On the peach, peony porch of my placidness, in colors of the faded afternoon.
All were seized in summer's saffron grip, creating orange juice mist sunsets,
Like walking away, when it is best, and yet brave enough to have no regrets.
Flowers thrilled hot, apricot hours, and birdsong excited long, obsidian nights,
Cats slept on porches of ruby pansies, their short, sweet lives full of delights.
Then persistent tragedy finally struck me, when I lost a dear family member;
And while I suffered long and cried, I was comforted by smiles I remembered!
I found great solace in my work, for helping others paves the way for smiles,
Like keeping glad eyes on the summer garden, to delve its newest color files.
I found a love and was eventually married, like first tango of sun and planets;
And we and our children continue family traditions, like lofty birdsong habits.
Today, my grief is much diminished, like storm clouds fading into saffron sun,
For minds full of memories, help loving hearts heal, like rosy day just begun.

Take your halcyon moment, have your blissful jaunt
Explore the northern hills and rivers, their helix flaunts
From zigzag paths of the south, from verdant plains of the north
Passing by the west coasts, ascend to their conjuring heart fort
Set off now and tread down to a cobblestone avenue
With joyful wagon ride, gaze the Heritage City’s stunning view
Spanish buildings in hedge, hewed by the greatest history
Of a beautiful country called, The Pearl of the Orient Sea
Museums in slumber, sing the spirit of heartwarming hospitality
Preserving the priceless antiques, ancestors’ unique creativity
Well-crafted on Spanish Colonization, cherish in golden memory
The country’s Great Forefathers, their true heroism and bravery
At the heart of a city gloriously stands the city’s cathedral
In front stretched a dancing fountain embraced by a lover’s park
With conservative Maria Clara style, stroll with Jose, your pal
And taste the most delicious delicacies from morning ‘til dark
A hammock that rocks you to the enchantment of the past
With indelible imprints of rich cultural heritage in relentless lush
Visit this reigning beauty, your rewarding experiences enfold
Vigan City hailed as one of Top Seven Wonder Cities of the World

Is there any creature prettier
Than a butterfly fluttering by
A creature of the utmost beauty
Like a rainbow high in the sky
Varied paths on wings of colour
A conspicuous fluttering flight
Darting forth from flower to flower
A delightful peaceful sight
Dancing amongst the blossoms
Drawn by the sweet smelling nectar
Preserving nature's eternal scheme
This fanciful pollen collector
Is there any creature prettier
Than a butterfly fluttering by
A vision of pure artistry
These delicate wings on high

The storm that is you thunders
slow and brilliant in my heart,
spliting my beliefs into bliss and blunders
tossing the limbs of my love from finished to start,
The hail sows no hate
temperatures taste extreme,
your fast weather pummels my pride's fate
the howl and moan stiffens my body's fleshy slate
with a new font spelling lust in capital sweat and gleam
as the conceit in me enjoys the torrent of your sorrow's date,
You hump me with a dying wish
placing me inside you, gently, romantically, undeniably selfish,
I fall in love with you again for the umpteenth time
and your face never grows old
shows no cold
disappears not in tragedy's confine,
overlapping my overview of life, hot and hellish
the art that is you pounces into view, the rumble I relish,
Wanting me to know what you deserve
breathing into me the smoke of your burning love,
I become love wrecked, quaking from the sting you serve
preserving everything your spirit spits and sings from above -

Ballad
One Small Tear
One small tear was seen to fall from the beautiful eye
of that most beautiful Queen Sharalee Lorelei
This tear slowly fell from her cheek & as it did so it became
a perfectly perfect & most shimmering white pearl
This pearl slowly fell into the outsretched hand of SailorGirl
who quickly placed it into the velvet pouch which she protected
that Bracelet of the Sun within
Thus preserving it for all time to come
.
It is said in these legends that this beautiful pearl became the first
of all the pearls of the seas... & that SailorGirl had removed it from
her velvet pouch one day & placed it gently into the sea
That from that day forward any tear from any Princess became yet another pearl
& another & another filling the seas with such beauty that no sort of sadness
could ever harm anyone ever again.

Parallelismus Membrorum
Nature's curse, putting the whole to sober
but when over-stretched, can sting like rubber
comfort and strength all in a bad set
the body's freedom, limited by an inner corset
a corrosive inside in need of the next butter
physiological redemption coming through water
instinctive drive to swallow the sea
any coloured liquid, tantalizing as tea
an inevitable cycle to constantly stay fresh
preserving the functionality of a dying flesh

Rhyme Royal
It is not all about us
It is all about me.
My feelings, my hopes, my dreams.
Get out of my thoughts; you take too much time
You are begging for attention
Annoying me
So I run toward the hills
To be alone, with my best friend, me.
Your ads come on TV
Begging for this and that.
Begging to live. Always begging.
You are an irritant. I flip off the TV
If I cannot see you, you become unreal
Everyone is unreal now as I hoard and sit
By myself with a boat-load of toilet paper
Not caring in the least about you or your needs
I am not totally happy with myself
But at least we agree among ourselves
Most of the time and this is more than enough
Keep your poverty and your illnesses to yourself
I will not open the door
I will not open my heart.
It is all about me.
Saving and preserving myself. Get it?
