to bounce off a springboard of words

"Plunge into the goodness of God, and find yourself drowned into His graciousness, then rescued from selfishness." by the Poet
At such times of discomfort
I plunge into prayer flow
knowing that my God listens to my call* and qualms
presenting Himself as the best Listener
especially these therapy sessions
with my special child, demanding love and patience.
With despair enveloping me this uneasy moment
being afflicted with cough and colds
I plunge into communion with Christ
Who is ready to soothe my pain
offering me His healing of pardon and peace blessings
and so I yield to His warm embrace.
When on the altar, burdened with ministerial load
I plunge into depths of divine meeting with the Saviour
as a prayer warrior … since He welcomes me
with His sweet cheer, assuring my soul for response
to my mission-related requests
faith claims triumphantly.
As I plunge into sublime intercession of wondrous bliss
the Holy Spirit uplifts me by His security
reminding me of His constant presence
today, and even beyond
which my heart thanks worshipfully
while serving Him by His omnipotence.
*Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me (GOD), and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Dramatic Monologue
For years he held “I do” at bay.
He used to say,
"I love to be
completely free
“I wish you all the best,” he said
as others wed
but sought no wife
to share his life.
****************
Now he’s met one who holds his heart.
Their brand-new start
begins tonight
as love takes flight.

Doomed to be alone
As my sorrow swells in me
Immersed beneath the waves
of this hopeless misery
While pondering the oceans
Of each, mistake I've ever made
All of those unworthy
My true love that I had gave
Only to be broken by a sea
of crushing tides
An abyss of suffering
filled with dark
and endless lies
Reminded by the winds
of my dreams, they'd never be
To sail away with him
And feel his kiss
Upon the breeze
Where loves a priceless treasure
A last chance for nothing less
Then a dance that swirels forever
To it's deepest, vastest depths
Lost within the storm
that flows beyond these shores I see
To plunge into it's noble blue
Embraced by he
Who's life
is loving me
And with my last and final breath
I'd fade into it's blackest trench
That's where I long to be
With you and you alone
For all eternity

Draped in the darkness of the night
In a weather so dull and blight
Sad thoughts like a deadly shooter
Come out to bombard her outright
Shaking off their fitful slumber
They rise from their inert stupor
From the reservoir deep, spill out
As through newly opened shutter
They come from an unknown hideout
As all trace of life to wipe out
Unable to block the current
She totters in a drunken bout
They spill forth in mighty torrent,
With a beastly force violent
Like an angry mob on long wait,
Infringing all rules, nonchalant
Caught in the vortex of that spate
Her body began to gyrate
She lost all her sense of balance
Her sad fate, no one could abate

The house does not hide
Crying out in different ways
Shards fly with wings of their own
I see the world outside
At the end of the dimly lit corridor
There are 10 doors to my left
10 doors to my right
They command me to enter
Lights flicker animatedly
My eyes move furtively
The soles grow watery
Mad wind in my hair
Nerves in the opaque mind
The distance is far and narrow
Banshees in the cobwebs scream
The feet move… gathering pace
The doors become giants
Strangling the body slowly
The mind is with the soul
Freedom grows bigger
The distance has narrowed
Transforming into ether
Escaping through the corners
Then the plunge into the wave
Dissolving of extremities
The loss … therefore, the peace
No reason to think anymore
The lifting up of arms
And the soaring of spirit
Till the end of freedom
The end… It never shall come…

It’s hazy… opaque… clamour… and frizzy
My mind froze and clamours
It’s intense, grumpy, and rampant
Yet an image skewed, freckled and afar
Ding...Ding...ding…
Musical but torrent my head is screwed
Knocked up and nuts became loose
Thunderous and thumping bolt in my mind
A lament! A hymn... fading in the distance
Reverberated like a long lost song
A synagogue marching in a single line
Face concealing garments swaying from side to side
From the morgue murmuring and mumbling
Oh! What a poor restful soul
Wrapped and helpless in a black loin
Suffering inside but without tears
Held in procession to the yard
Graves that consumes sumptuously
Anguish and agony antagonised the atmosphere
With occasional litany now and then
Young and old looked up and wiped off their tears
Blamelessly they tell but only tale stories
Stories bringing burden and sorrow

there is one river, boundless
that I long to swim at length
a-flowing dark and magical
with prurience and strength
and if those churning waters
are the stead of my demise
‘tis nowhere else I'd rather drown ...
than deep there … in your eyes.

Love beckons, let’s take the plunge
but first dark desires expunge,
lest cravings lead us astray
and our soul, we so betray.
If pure joy we wish to find,
we must first rest lower mind,
rushing forward to embrace,
outpourings of divine grace.
Know love does not hesitate,
so why for then, do we wait?
Oh worthy monk, take the leap,
feeling bliss mists seep in deep.
Resting habit of thinking,
head and heart, with love linking,
no sooner we come undone,
our soul with God becomes one.

The water will hurt me
The cold shall run deep
Piercing like shattered glasses
But not deep -
-I must jump
I feel it within to go
I and the sea are one
And such spirit will not let go
Unless I learn to jump
I fear the tides,
The waves riveting past
It is big... It may take me whole
But he and I are one
And such spirit shall never let go
Unless I choose to jump
The icy, icy water may hurt me
The cold indeed runs deep
But he, the sea, and I are one
And my spirit shall never learn to let go
Unless I jump
Even then I'll fly and glide
He and I will never choose to let go
Even now as I jump
Past the tides, the waves
And even past he

Eyes locked not able to pull apart
Fingers trembling matching the beating of my heart.
Removing clothes one by one feeling quite shy
Never thinking I would feel this high
There is no control and no going back
I am in to deep and sense I do lack.
The power that pulls together is so so strong
Something this exciting cannot be so wrong.
Tongue moistens and flicks around lips
Muscles twitch and tremble down to the hips
Breath holding this is like a test and I can do it
Feeling dizzy, eyes blurring, I need to sit.
Knees trembling can I take the leap?
I’ll never forgive myself, I know I won’t sleep
Muscles are taut, my skin catching the light
This is it; it’s going to be tonight.
Looking round at the space and taking a deep breath in
I am falling I know my head is tucked in
My arms are stretched out to break the surface
As from the 3 meter board I dived with a purpose.
My fingers break the water followed by my arms shoulders and head
I have done I survived this thing that I dread.
I did it I took that knee trembling walk
I plucked up the courage my task I did not balk.

Immersed in fathoms understood
by only those who seek the night
I fear that sadness overtakes
and wonder when there will be light
This plunge, an unexpected course
as unexpected as a chill
So often, takes me by surprise
and always it’s against my will
It seems that just when sun sits high
and clouds have sailed so far away
That waves of rogue and winds of steel
conspire to submerge my day
And yet, though sunken by this storm
I still find thoughts to rearrange
As hope still floats at every turn
in knowing that this too will change
