Mr. Breast Cancer
Mr. Breast Cancer is an avid traveller
On wings of his own he flies anon
A nomad he is, restless in nature
Bivouacking in earthly goddesses
Lives close to their ruby pink hearts
Listening to their musical beats
The doctors not know his elusive habits
Sometimes visible sometimes invisible
They use a bait and fish him out
But Mr. Breast Cancer slyly winks
Playing hide and seek
Befooling the scientists
His hunger pangs uncontrollable
Scavenging the loveliest
No better place for a voyeur
Than corroding their breasts
Rummaging through their nodes
Their bosoms he spoils
Their crowns he pilfers
Their spirits he empties
Leaves them to be epitaphed
Guffaws at feminine vulnerability
Leering at the next new babe
Armouring to fresher newer battlegrounds

Communication
Talking, Singing, Dancing,
Writing, Drawing, Praying,
Signing, Listening, Seeing,
Reading, Cooing, Touching,
Bridges in a list few,
That allow One to Two.
Or Expansion of One,
If the Ability to Be Common,
Is Ever Shrunk, Compromised,
The Feelings Become Numb,
We are Un-Mistakenly Downsized!
Laryngitis, Soundless, Sightless,
Senseless, Absence of Hand-Eye 'Ation,
Robs Togetherness, Socialization,
Leaves Us Cast Out of the Nest,
Pilfers the Spirit of Essence,
Drastically Diminished & Lessened,
But Perhaps the Worst Singleness,
Is to be Alone in a Crowd,
Where They Choose Their Game,
Foreignly, Ours is Not the Same,
Then, Sidetracked On Our Own,
We Grow in Dishes Petri,
Rhythmically Communicating Poetry,
Layered Verse Reaffirming Terse,
Each Syncopation a Prayer,
Gratitude Individually Communed,
Catalyzing December to June!
Intently,
I listen for any sounds of Fife or Drum;
But with no visual perception,
I find only muteness of time marching on;
In its own manner it pilfers our memories
Leaving Granite chiseled names,
And pillaged spaces where faces did dwell.
Time bequeaths each a past,
Grants the present millisecond,
And conveys hope of a future.
He does not wait for me to unpack the bags
his nose pilfers as his stubby tail wags
Home from shopping and Kubla hunts for joy
he is expecting his brand new toy
Genghis confused barks and howls
for he plays with any old toy anyhow
But Kubla must taste his heart's wish
a new clean toy is his favorite dish
It has to be furry and squeak with each bite
to bring Kubla to his happy delight
He grabs with his mouth and bites to squeak
it is the sound sought and seeks
New and fresh he chews and chews
first a tiny hole then he bites it into
Out the air bladder that squeaked divine
he chews it dead as a treat he dine
Genghis shakes his head fast and furious
with an old toy in mouth wants Kubla curious
But Kubla is content a new toy destroyed
it took only a few moments for the little fat boy
The remains of white stuffing all over the floor
with little-spoiled doggies who could want more

As leaf sounds fade under time's wet foot,
Likewise are the echoes of those long past.
Who lie as dry bones among the tranquil,
But a reminiscent view of a life once cast.
Only God discerns the why's of life
Also, the number of steps allotted each to get through it.

Being betrothed to anger, a sorry wife,
Inspires words, often verbalized in haste.
Anger pilfers joy, devastating your life,
It seeks soft targets, and lays them waste.
Collateral damage invariably is found,
Even the blameless, have charge to pay.
Slain or injured ego's too oft abound,
Knowingly perished by this bedfellows fray.
Emerald envy nestled on velvet
several thousand away from paid
Puce tulip promise inducement
secluded juice, palliation delayed
Ivory aspire ripped wide envelope
plump with numbered requirement
Absinthe ardent delerium implode
paper stack compiling assignment
Cerulean satin adorns a champion
swanky speculators chase plethora
Fuchcia blooming futures chiming
swindle hopeful fast hoof investors
Magenta dash magic, risky fingers
probe probable, middle of pack peril
Bronze woebegone pilfers millions
prestigious month end ear emeralds

Death, Sin’s Wages
Written: by Tom Wright
6/16/2018
For the pleasures of sin,
God requires retribution.
Sin’s wages is death,
Without God’s absolution;
The only solace that comes,
Is from God through prayer;
Of this there’s no hour,
When we’re found unaware;
Our struggles may be many,
Perhaps even failing health;
As time pilfers our ability,
It absconds with our wealth.
It’s dark, cold and still, the mist has fallen,
She lays beside you out of sight,
Plundering your heart from all that you are,
Just like a thief in the night,
And she takes all your moments, hides them away,
She pilfers and robs and steals,
And masks your sweet tender away in her mind,
So later she knows that she feels,
All of your love, all of your warmth,
All of your life with a care,
And she can kiss you alone, alone in her mind,
She kisses when you’re not aware,
Because she’s the thief in the night, she picks and escapes,
She loves in the cold black of dark,
She searches and steals every tender of you,
Because you’ve stolen her heart.
Jealously

Jealousy frequently rears its head,
it causes insecurity and pilfers pride.
Jealousy is a book best left unread,
jealous thoughts should be denied.
We should never compare ourselves to another,
for God gave each different gifts and talents.

Each person will face a sunset in life,
A gander hinder reveals pain and strife.
Though I cannot change, much I will forget,
as for the remainder, some, I’ll regret.
Regret pilfers my thoughts, and does frustrate,
Regret is always felt, once it’s too late.
Fear Creates Doubt
Written: by Miracle Man

Where does the fear come from
that stifles our thoughts, actions,
and becomes a roadblock for God’s plan for our lives.
Fear pilfers our peace and happiness, allowing doubt to creep in,
and when we have a negative mindset, we often lose sight of the goals God has for us.
one of the biggest success blockers- is fear.
Often it’s the fear of taking that first step- and where that stept might lead
But god’s light can chase away any darkness caused by fear.
Prayer should be communication- not a want list

Novelty
Novelty
Novelty
All is novelty
Easter is here
The much awaited Easter
For our Christ is risen
Where are the Christians?
Our churches are empty
Some even are locked
As if the Christ himself
Had failed to resurrect.
Our hands are coated
Our mouths are tied
How do we celebrate?
As we're banned from gathering
hugging and shaking.
Yes the Christ is risen
But we're still in rue
Mourning and shivering
Like in the day of crucifixion.
Our hearts jiggle
And our lives at risk
An unwelcome visitor is here
His arrival changed them all.
His name is coronavirus
A voyager
A product
An inventor
all the way from China.
Easter without communion
Easter without congregation
Easter without conviviality
Novelty to the credit of another
Corona corona corona!
That's all we hear
That's all we fear
Even on the day of resurrection.
Our sermons, our prayers
All pay allegiance to corona
Corona hodgepodged our Easter.
Corona pilfers our days.
Corona is ubiquitous
Corona is mortiferous
Easter amidst corona
All is novelty
and only but just a novelty.

Who else in the city staking paper like l am doing?
I have been around the block but the Gucci and Galbanas got me looking kinda different.
People really love me they will be asking for them autographs , l be like no , no l got a flight to catch , no time to chill got to make more deals so she gets more heels just to avoid the feels.
Every time the blues on me l just roll and sip some till my heart tells me yeah let's do it again!
Life has been bumpy ever since l won the lottery, sleepless nights on rooftops blowing dollars like we bowlers , partying on a Tuesday in a suit and spending pounds let the Queen call a meeting!
If this is a dream don't wake me up l am to slumber in heaven.
Pilfers into preachers through my work now that's a blessing.
Used to be a berger , now they beg me to stay but they never wanted me near them until God raised me from the dead!
