Time Pilfers All

Written: by Tom Wright 2010 As leaf sounds fade under time's wet foot, Likewise are the echoes of those long past. Who lie as dry bones among the tranquil, But a reminiscent view of a life once cast. Only God discerns the why's of life Also, the number of steps allotted each to get through it. Tom Featured Poem on Poetry Soup W / O 9-15-2019

This is a strong and sobering reminder to remember those who have gone before and to live life in the now. Thank you for this wonderful poem Tom!
