Peaceful Hours

The night is still and all asleep God’s creatures now their silence keep While moonbeams shine on land and sea. We put to rest a long, hard day Our stress and worries fly away— For this time, dear God, we thank Thee. The night is still and all asleep God’s creatures now their silence keep. Nature sleeps through the quiet night And nothing will disturb the light While moonbeams shine on land and sea; For this time, dear God, we thank Thee. The night is still and all asleep God’s creatures now their silence keep. Sandra M. Haight
