I was lost.
For years
I was in my own world,
off doing my own thing,
didn't want to be saved,
never mentioned his name.
I was lost.
Walked around
with no guidance.
Made it out
of some things
because my steps
were still guided.
And I know,
the last thing
you wanna hear
is a poem bout
Jesus,
but I wouldn't
waste my time
if I didn't believe it.
Religion and tradition
is misguided
and overrated.
It's the way
I live,
and my walk with him
that's the proof
that I made it.
I was lost.
The person
you see
is not who
I was,
I was far gone,
sin is a heck
of a drug.
For years
I dripped with guilt.
Quick to condemn myself
because of the life
that I lived.
Broke laws and
lived wild,
smoked weed and
popped bottles,
nearly every night.
Would drown myself
in darkness,
always running from
the light.
I was lost.
Started closing my heart.
But would
bust it open
for the wrong reasons
and a low life.
But it's not
about the politics.
The past mistakes
or what ifs.
I wanted the freedom,
he gave me a taste.
Came back years later,
"look at the mess
that I made"
But it was
what I'd wanted,
so I couldn't complain.
I was lost.
My mind had me thinking
I had fallen from grace.
I had no fight in me,
tried to self medicate.
I look at all
the things I've done
and wonder how
he could forgive.
Like all the times
I gave up on him,
and didn't want
to live.
Never learned
to love myself
until he loved me
at my darkest.
He stuck around
when I couldn't shine,
and my attitude
was cloudy.
Despite all that I'd done
I was never forsaken.
Even when I left him,
he stayed with me daily.
He was the one
who plucked me
from the ocean,
while people stood
on the beach
not seeing me drowning.
But his grace
is sufficient.
He says I'm forgiven,
that he loves me,
and he means it.
I was lost.
But look at me now.
All you see
is my past,
all he sees
is my crown.
My soul's been restored
and he's fixing
what's broken,
I could have been dead
do you see why
I owe him?
Life for a life
but the payout
is worth it.
The payout is worth it.
I was lost.
Feels good to be back.
I smile when-
Woman has strange men over
You laugh and mind business
Married to your ******* neighbor
I frown when-
Man wants medicine for kid,
Clinic shut down,
Alcohol delivered a government payout
Dear blockpoet
I think you got me confused with someone that cares, It's lovely how you enjoy accusing anyone who is not in your corner. I hope the cow suit helps your self esteem. I did not deserve the harassing letters, you and your lady friend sent. I speak to whomever I want on this site. No one voices me, but my mother you are a dirty casino, with no payout at all. I will not let you bully me the same way you do others. Thank you for sending your patheticness through the mail. I'm a young adult, and still found myself violated by you.
You are very disgusting, I'm not as naive as you think I am.
Mr. You messed with the wrong 18 year old. Next time you want to bully little girls, think twice. I have a father, a mother. I sent the threatening soupmail to the superiors of this site. Nothing I said to anyone on your blog was offensive. Does it help blocking the poets who stood up for others. I left a good comment, about the woman you constantly enjoy bullying.
To answer your question. Your blog was highly recommended. I never did a thing to you, I hope you feel better and sleep well at night knowing you just bullied this 18 year old.

When my husband and I were in Las Vegas, I had a great suggestion,
To go to the Little White Chapel, and renew our vows in celebration.
I thought it would be such a lark we wouldn’t forget.
Having Elvis perform the ceremony would be the best thing yet!
However we never made it to the chapel, he refused.
To do such a silly thing did not leave him amused.
Maybe that was an indication of what was to come.
Divorce ensued, and sorrow beat its drum.
I want to go to the Little White Chapel with a new man.
We would have so much fun before our life began!
We could play a slot machine on our way out.
Then we would be man and wife with a payout!
This poem was too long to submit without premium membership, so I have submitted it in two parts, but it is meant to be read together.
Part one....
They say he is clearly psychotic, if knowing that was even a possibility.
The visible signs are all present, his behavior is a dead give away.
"Normal" people don't act this way, they act like everybody else.
When did being different, become the diagnosis of being clinically insane?
Their image of "normal" is repeatedly drilled into our heads.
Through the direction of our leaders, our education, multi-media.
The television and cinema screen their greatest tools for propaganda.
A man and his lovely wife, with their two point five children,
A duplex in the suburbs, undistinguished from any of the others.
a neatly trimmed lawn, a few hedges, a two car garage for their one vehicle.
A couple truly in love, rarely do they argue, with great sexual chemistry.
Working constantly through the better part of their lifetimes
making enough money to pay their bills, and splurge once a week.
their companies CEO, the bill collectors, and the government's tax brackets,
all work together in unison, to ensure that they are never more than comfortable.
At the age of sixty-five, they have a small nest egg saved up together.
Only now, well into their "golden years," are they allowed to live as they choose.
Their biggest motivation and desire, is simply to survive for another year.
When they die, their children discover they have no money in their accounts.
It always is a shock, revealing your parents have died completely broke.
Ideal examples of the perfect "American Marriage," left penniless in their grave.
Luckily for the children, they had purchased a small life insurance policy.
The payout almost exactly enough to cover the burial costs and funeral.
Even experiencing this unsettling revelation at their parents expense,
These same children are pre-destined, doomed, to follow suit.
Brain washed into believing that their outcome will somehow be better.
They spent less, saved up more, purchased a better insurance policy.
Unaware their parents shared these exact thoughts, forty years prior.
Beholding the natural intricacies of nature
Is a sight most intriguing for the gesture
Found in the flamboyancy of natural art
Observed in picturesque landscapes in part.
The land lays in calm tranquility
This Sylvan land, a beneficial quality,
A background of lofty mountains with breeze
Venerable parks of forested trees.
Mysterious is the beautiful and creative layout
That the Creator gave all creation as a payout,
To enjoy the ancient splendorous Eden-like
But forested evervescent garland theme pike.
Included too are also Earth's moon, clouds and
Often a rainbow lurking over for his majestic stand!

Note: The following dialogue is between the voice of Mother Nature and the voice of man.
It is dedicated to the countless victims of the earthquake-induced tsunami in Samoa.
My Ring of Fire sets ready to erupt
For I, Mother Nature, have had enough
Of pollutants invading reservoirs
And oil-drilled coastlines, sands coated by tar
How thankful we are for this plentiful earth
Proceeds and profits boast our corporate worth
Our mistakes and errors in destructive ways
Mother Nature will repair in a matter of days
Sea creatures poisoned by hazardous waste
Trash left on beaches by people in haste
Sea oats destroyed as construction proceeds
Turtle hatchlings wandering toward man made beams
The land is aplenty with resources so fine
We can wash away the debris, reap when mined
Mercury, chemical and oils as well
Mother Nature will dilute as we continue to sell
Whales wash up and expire on ocean shores
Battleships litter the deepest sea floors
With thinning ozone, sea temperatures rise
Igniting rage in my volatile eyes
Another tanker runs aground of the Alaska coast
Insurance companies payout, our boards in toast
We can rely on our refineries and oil wells
For Mother Nature will replace and it will all be swell
Earthquakes, tsunamis are my weapons
Earth’s last days may be man’s time to reckon
We will reap the rewards as our conglomerates grow rich
Mother Nature will allow, our industrial snitch
ONE:
At three in the morning the Internet calls out.
Come to the computer; visit friends round about.
All of a sudden, soon pulling hair out,
The lights go off, a total blackout…shutout!
TWO:
Dressed for the country, a total knockout,
In a new white blouse, nothing worn-out,
Marshmallows and smores cooked at the cook out.
Chocolate on the blouse that will not wash out!
THREE:
Friends coming over for a big night out,
Children run to windows; keep a lookout.
Their car slips and slides while they are in route.
Festivities become a complete washout.
FOUR:
Going for a visit, the Interstate route.
A car passes by; guess what is thrown out.
Part of a burger with a Whopper handout,
Right in the face of the driver's shouting snout.
FIVE:
Rushing one morning to the punch-clock readout.
Arriving on time, that day had some doubt.
Picking up speed cautiously on the look out!
BLAM! The tire explodes, too late, a blowout.
SIX
The day's shopping spree had a strange payout.
Smoke from the windows escaping there out.
Eggs were left boiling when the cook went out.
Shells hit the ceiling and the floor; freak out!
SEVEN:
Walking barefooted on a beautiful route.
(Garden shoes were old with the soles worn out.)
Soft-smelly brown embrace toes round about.
Run to the hose to wash the stinky stuff out.
EIGHT:
Planting a garden with success in doubt.
Hoping for sun and for a big payout.
Watering tomatoes in times of drought.
One night of insects, the crop is wiped out!
NINE:
The birthday present would really standout.
Glow-in-the-dark wrapping, would be far-out.
Fluorescence to shine when the lights go out,
But I left it home and arrived without.
TEN:
A walk in the park to get a workout,
Flowers and children enjoyed throughout.
Birds chirp in trees, their favorite hideout.
A direct hit in the eye; bird fallout, wash out!

The million-to-one longshot -
I know this unlikely victory
isn’t so sweet when the race is fixed
and everyone got paid on the side
for being in on the trick
while I just ran and ran and ran.
Ran until every muscle ached
and could barely breathe,
and you threw me a cup of water
that turned out to be poisoned.
“I didn’t know,” you said,
but you didn’t sip it, either.
Gathering my roses at the finish line,
I searched the crowd of strangers
for someone to share my victory –
little did I know you were at the payout booth
collecting your winnings
from the cruel but well-executed scam.
I’m the hyphen in your used-to-be,
and she’s the substance in your dialogue -
reading between the lines,
I still find her there, laughing,
as I struggle to comprehend
the subtext of your smile.
Your half-truths and vague love songs
dominate my existence -
I’ll sing along with a painted look
of adoration in my eyes,
because I finally figured out
how to play your game, too.
“I’ll go with it,” she said
winking away the time I spent
trying to forget that I knew it all
and closed my eyes, preferring the dream.
I’m awake now, thief,
and I want it all back.
“Million-to-one shot, babe -
million-to-one.”
I’ll take those odds…
but the next time,
believe me, I’ll know better
than to run so fast.
My life’s became hell
And I wanna yell.
Once upon a time,
I loved a girl nine to nine.
We shared each other’s feelings,
Have known each other for a long time.
She often used to cross the wall,
And I used to prevent her from a fall.
But these were just a part of my everydays’ dream,
Which I used to have before I scream.
I still remember that night
When I first proposed her right,
With a ring in her glass
Which I gave her after we danced.
She accepted me vigorously,
Without giving a second thought to it.
My life’s became heaven
And its gonna stay well
After the acceptance of my proposal,
We had our yummy dinner.
Regarding our family matter
She told me her every secret,
Which had occurred with her very quiet
I too wasn’t far behind,
But didn’t explore myself to that extent.
After having long talks,
We finally headed towards the car.
While I was busy in the bill payout,
She consistently starred me out.
As soon as I turned back
To see her face in the pack,
But to my surprise
She wasn’t anywhere in the picture.
I spontaneously spotted a mob on the road,
Just beside my car where I was to board.
With great frustration I reached out there,
With a positive approach that she wouldn’t lie there.
I saw a girl lying out on the floor,
But she was someone else who was unknown.
Then with a sigh of relief
I saw her inside another taxi,
Which stood at par distance from me
She consistently called out for me.
As she wanted to give something to me
But before reaching out to the car,
It was bashed up like a thrilling zar. (here zar means horror)
I stood out helpless there,
Saw her lying unconsciously bare.
She still had some breathe out left,
But she had a lot of bleeding around.
And after a few seconds a blast had mound. (here mound means occurred)
Not even her single remaining left behind,
And I was left with her mere thoughts to remind.
My life’s became hell
And I wanna just yell.
My each day
Went off,
Like a hell stock.
My each night
Just passed on by,
I couldn’t ever forget her by.
Coz she was my first and last love,
Forever in life.
I’ve lost my love forever,
And I’ve became a stone-like structure.
My life’s became hell
And I wanna only yell…
Desires of fame and wealth beyond needs
And some want the end of the world to come
But he who demands the payout and dismisses the harbingers
Will not hear the tuning of the trumpet calls
The world of business
is riddled with traps
I tried to start
an intenent business
So good were their words
we make money
when you make money
the promise of lies
Internet scams
poor people trying
to make at the expense
of someone else
of course, it was a scam
Financially I am not
the one to follow
but with a world
Real financial experts
surely we could find
people to trust
people that can invest
and grow companies
people that can
make a profit
and payout dividends from shares
people that can help build economies
saving ten dollars per week
you are looking at an investment
of five hundred and twenty dollars per year
If you had invested in micro soft
how year after year how much
would you be worth
could you invest more
It'd your life
you can do whatever you want
you can save a hundred dollars per week
it's your money
granted with every investment
there is a risk
you can lose your money
people do lie cheap and steal
but investments create jobs
investments stimulate economies
half the problem we have today
was caused by greed
People wanting to make money
from selling houses
lowered interest rates
sold houses to people
that couldn't afford them
put up interest rates
made the homeowners
take out insurance
So if they failed to pay
they made money
from the insurance company
an insurance company collapsed
because they couldn't afford the debt
like a deck of dominoes
the whole system started to struggle
one country after another
started having financial problems
markets dried up as economies failed
we didn't end up, in a depression
because we had things like social welfare
Our ancestors had created
but we are all apart of the same world
healthy economies in other country's
buy the products from your country's
The world needs to look at the balance
between the needs of all economies
When Mahatma Gandhi improve the textile
trade-in India it devastated
The textile trade in other countries
I'm not the expert but if we build
industry in India
I believe that is what great man achieved
Industry, that India requires
to create employment for India
Industry, that we all need to have
healthy economies
We need to do it in a way
that creates balance,
improving the economies of all
countries
I received a golden hello
But nothing of banking I know
On commodities, the future I bet
For large bonuses each year,to net
Too soon the 'bubble' has burst
Of course, everyone else, has come off worse
But I do not reap what I sow
They gave me parachute payout & pension to go
Global finances,crash into debt
Yet still I have no regrets ...(yet !)
Deep in peaceful rest, lay I.
Not a hint of what would come by.
In my dreams chasing ludicrous fantasies
Seeking out endless possibilities.
But away, far and away, have I gone from there.
Far and away due to a stirring in the air.
Rousing from somnolent state I noticed but one thing…
What, in my unconscious adventures, for I had been searching.
Reach out! Take hold!
But I could not bring myself to be so bold.
Now I am awake, now I am alive.
And finally my restless soul needn’t wander.
In those eyes, yes those eyes, I see all I need to thrive.
And “should I love her?” is a thought I needn’t ponder.
“Give it all away and hold nothing back” screams my heart.
But what happens when everything falls apart?
Logic shouts, “slow and steady and the race may be won.
Besides what are the chances this is the one?”
“Tattered and torn, tattered and torn.
You have been there before,
And you know your heart is worn.”
Logic speaks from my core.
Flumadiddle flumadiddle they all sing together.
They make it difficult to determine whether,
Whether or not the risk is worth the payout.
And to determine if I have any doubt.
But then one concept sticks out to me.
Why? Why is what I should be answering.
Why I love her, let me list the reasons…
But that list is too long, and would last eternal seasons…
So not why, but why not?
One solid answer is all I need.
I have thought and have thought
And can’t find a single, doubtful seed.
“She is too strong headed and opinionated”
And that is what makes her beautiful.
“She is too organized, she’ll kill your chaos”
My Balance is what makes her wonderful.
She is passionate and pure,
Faithful and true.
There is little more I could ever want from you.
To the end of all things,
I don’t think I could bring,
This soul to ever wander when all I want is found in you.
A balance for my strengths,
A mind to sharpen mine,
A reason to always strive,
An equal finally by my side.
Ganksta fools
