Misdemeanor

MISDEMEANOR

A soft lisp runs through blonde summer grasses,
shoving at kites or the hems of long skirts.
Umbrellas and hats stir as it passes,
jumbling at picnics, it teases and flirts.
It picks up speed while playing with Marty,
and takes his land legs as he tries to walk.
The unseen source can raid a yacht party,
by strewing boats that are moored to the dock.
Laughing in whispers or screaming in storms,
a mythical being, felt but not seen.
Its guests are blind to the brail it performs,
it can be gentle, or just as well, mean.
Wickedly hurling a house in the air,
or docile enough to tousle our hair.

Paradoxical Premise

Stands on the land of heterodox
Who's the mightiest God of all?
People live and die on their equivocation thoughts

Those who exclaimed about the God who never fall
Inversely proportional to what they always do
Who's the mightiest God of all?

Seekers, believers, heathens and philosophers with their point of view
All still seeks for the truth and uphold one they call peace
Inversely proportional to what they always do

Compiling the ideas piece by piece
Who are we without all these idealism?
All still seeks for the truth and uphold one they call peace

At the end world leads to anarchism
They failed to adhere what they create
Who are we without all these idealism?

The idea of God and religion become skeptical trait
They failed to adhere what they create
Stands on the land of heterodox
People live and die on their equivocation thoughts

*This poem inspired by the contest that held by Richard Lamoureux, which I failed to join, but somehow I come up with this idea. Thank you for the inspiration :D.

Premium Member Paradoxical Battle

(Isaiah 55:8 & 9)

Reject the bull snot of naught,
the battle has already been fought…
upon a precept plane higher than human thought

Where human concept logic found to be vain…
From such wickedness one must learn refrain…
Not harboring a conjured devil to blame

A matter of human level of logic…
No way for life to dodge it..
Precept’s loving measure… life’s pleasure

Human logic plagiarizes love’s precept…
This satanic duality is not allowed…
For unto love of life death hath bowed

Love is adamant, His faith a paradox…
Adamantly… the Lord God… He is ONE
Creator… of the legendary stone

In the beginning was the word..
The word was with God…
And was God..
                      Selah…
                                think about it…

Paradoxical Virgo

Virgin Mary
I am not
Running wild
Generating chaos.
Organised chaos, mind

Paradoxical Thought

I live in a box where I'm constantly barraged by a personal concoction of paradoxacle thoughts and it haunts me -
and at the cost of any and all of my previous notions,
I question my very existence
as a prawn in the shadow of an infinite ocean.
In the face of adversity I wade through a vast uncertainty,
disect to reveal a dichotomy that evades intellect universally

rendering the fruits of my efforts in vain,
the only knowledge I've gained
is the knowledge that I don't truly know anything-
and if it mattered at all in the past it was thanks to the knowledge I lacked.

curiosity leads to questions,
and their answers breed concern
everytime I make a connection it only reveals to me there's more to learn.

I'd be remiss not to admit I miss the bliss of ignorance-
things were so much simpler before the connections commenced to wreck my conscience

Paradoxical

Death killed by his own knife
A thief stealing his own life

Fear in the closet hiding
A critic himself criticizing

Anger scolded and burning
The head from the heart learning

Lust by innocence tempted
Day by night resurrected

Strength by weakness beaten
Hunger by a glutton eaten

The law caught and found guilty
Dirt by purity made filthy

Humility celebrated and crowned
A fool of his foolishness proud

Premium Member Paradoxical Images

Dozen of dozens questions, I was carefully asked..
Maybe ten hundreds, I was requested for a shot..
hundreds by hundreds, vivid images rush..
of smiles; of wonders; of glee and of absurbness..

some fantazises..
some beholds..
some envies..
some admires...

leaking in deep embedded trenches..
bombarding waves after waves..
begotten in fusions of vibrancy..
in partition of velocity and gravity..

some is a picture of truthfulness..
some is a picture of falseness..
some is a picture of dramatic eloquence..
some is a picture of authority obedience..

yet underneath a wiseman's eyes..
behind an elder's cleverness..
surely, no one can ever hide..
surely, no one can even deny...

Premium Member There May Be a Paradoxical Mirror

There may be a mirror universe
  in which time runs backwards
Hawkins hosts dinner for time travelers
who eat dark matter for dessert

Thousands of Endurances think
critical thinking was just spotted on Mars
where lonely elephants seek scientists
Hawkins finds Planet 9 in a black hole

There may be an information paradox
  where elephants eat dark matter
Planet Nine still missing
time runs backward while running out of time

Thousands of acres continue to burn
there may be a paradoxical universe
Planet Nine attacked by RNA
  elephants create scientists

Paradoxical

Tiptoeing on eggshells
So the silence of mercy won’t be disturbed.
Hungry, I wait a tiny morsel.
Thirsty, I wait the morning dew.
Yet she looks,
Holding tight to her precious gift
That wills my soul
To keep yearning for it

Premium Member A Chance Encounter

A chance encounter
Love at first sight
A cute meet
A romantic encounter
An unarranged fate
A blind date
Not fortuitous
Not accidental of course
An arranged affair
A chance meet or a blind date
Both may flourish
What's important
The ending of the episode
A passionate courtship
A long ,loving marriage
Eternal happiness
Fate can be good or bad
Unpredictable
Paradoxical
Have no choice
Helpless
Fate is fate
So far,cannot be understood
But so dependent
Only grateful or sorry
Will be the ending
Of the whole story
Oh,my god

Paradoxical

Pray down on bloody knees and free
Sitters and sinners under stalwart tree
Oaken, ashen, burnt to the ground
Its roots twisted and spun around

Free in expression under dark soils
In light grim and suicidal it boils
Over the edge into a pit of snakes
It has taken a toll on me, high-stakes

The gamble, the paradoxical mystery
Of life in or out, inside and blistering
In darkness, give me back to the light
Salvation gleams in the distance, right?

Cut the cord, cut to the very core
King of kings and father bore me
Barren like fruit with no sweet
I am going back, shameless in defeat

Tired, but not broken I stand before him
Wash me father, cleanse me in crimson
I've a question to ask in reverence
Please give me a second to deliver it

Is it not true that we are modeled after you?
Spiritually, physically, mentally is it true?
Then imperfections there must not be
For this paradox to have created me!

The answer not currently comprehensible
I await the time when I am more sensible
Sea, awakened by the dark, the light
Is more craved and needed from fright

Only if you forgive me this blind questioning
It was a beggars chance, and festering
On my soul for so very long
God you still beat in my heart, so very strong.

She always wore
that jacket with pride
she could hide behind its
colorful display
mesmerized them
with her beauty

they never saw her sneaky game

I play with their minds you see
today I'm happy
I’ll splash color all over me
red, yellow, green, a shade of crimson too

by midday the rainbow might
have disappeared
like they tend to do

then, I’ll be the morbid reminder
I’ll steal their joy for a little longer
come with me to the colorless realm
you'll see the grey
let it envelope you
I have some drama don't you see
come be morbid just like me

Who does not desire a good life?
Watch purpose and passion work fire.

Who cares if you come, stay or go?
Watch zest and courage shape fond flow.

Who dares to face life's harsh music?
Surpass things comic or tragic.

Who greets each transient moment's spell?
Mindful beyond heaven or hell.

Who wants to know the truth that cuts?
Only the crazy fools and the nut.

Who loves to love for true love's sake?
The small man just wants a big break.

Who wins the game and forfeits pride?
Fleeting is fame for brief joy ride.

Who comes to seek the sick and lost?
The greedy world sums up each cost.

Who can find comfort in mere things?
Dazzle puzzles as vain stuff flings.

An Inconsistent Contradiction of Paradoxical Dissonance

I was told to write a poem,
but that's not how it works.
A poem has to write itself,
one cannot force the words..

This seems like contradiction,
but really it is not.
As when I began to think about it
the words came on the spot..

You can't make me write a poem,
it'll happen in its time.
Don't think that you've succeeded
at pulling out a rhyme.

Let me wipe off that expression
of smugness from your face.
This will never happen again,
poems have their time and place..

Poetry is not a given,
even with a muse.
Words have their own freedom
to happen as they choose.

So offer me a topic
for my next poetic verse.
And I'll show you once again
that no one forces words..

Paradoxical Sleep

Random thoughts at arbitrary times
A life once shared quickly demised
Thoughts that swim in water deep
Nightmares come in paradoxical sleep

You watch me flail, in over my head
Drift in and out while I mournfully tread
Choke out the water that’s in my throat
Silently drown or try to stay afloat

You were here and now you’re gone
Ash still falling with each new dawn
A life invested extinguished fast
Promise yields to the aftermath

Strength for all so they don't see
A tower that crumbles inwardly
Internal tears that my heart cries
The perfected façade is just a guise
