Best Paperless Poems
An ocean of papers
A collection of a lifetime
It's not about love letter
Documents and receipts
Paper that has been yellowed
from ancient times
Dust dancing in the sunlight
Everything has to be markuleres
How many kilos
Nobody knows
A new generation
Paperless society
Computer world ~ thanks

Verse
My words are lost in ink stains
Verses smudged in prints of you
Illegible scribbles soon fill in lines
Once paved with love anew
Now only paperless pain ensues
An unnatural sequence of thoughts
Scribed in distressed hues of blue
Will re-actively release your grip
But the pain it can’t undo
Now only agony grew
My heart hands weep writes of tomorrow
My paper and pen are tempered in sorrow
My emotions bellow wallows
Of a mournful mind
I pray
This too
Shall pass
In time…

Free verse
beneath the effulgence
of obscured moonlight
emanate shadows stalk
as i draw close
within the weakened sighs
of misted breaths
on bended knee
as pleas abate
within the confines
of dark nights
cockcrow may come
without rise
of my eyes
sanguine skies
blushed against
pale skin
as folded hands rest
fear not
for i will join those
bereft of life
in more than memory
my eyes have seen
tangerine tips of trees
within autumn's breath
pirouette down
in scribbles on ground
beneath bloodied sun
against crimson skies
as lilac hues faded
against the ocean
i have heard
its thunderous roars
as it wet-kissed the sand
while gulls scurried
in its wake
i have tasted
the lingers
of its salty spray
fall from the corners
of mine own eyes
the sands of time
have etched
the same trails
upon my face
of my yesteryear's
plight
i am weathered the same
as the shores edges
in its lash
as it pressed back
against storms
i have etched my words
upon paperless memories
in the depths of your mind
for i will linger there
if tomorrow
were to never rise
through my own eyes

Searching for something without fear
I will protect all the perfect times near
Have you found the ladder of heaven in light ?
The moon shone and showed me the path at night
Can you see a galaxy, bright
Search the North Star it's a bit of a sight
Memories begin to flash, thoughts follow
Eternal love between beautiful swans, visit them tomorrow

The bill arrives; I give a glance
And if it seems correct,
I grab my checkbook, write one out,
The same as you’d expect.
I pop it in the envelope
And choose a proper stamp;
You’ve noticed now that I belong
To that old-fashioned camp.
“Go paperless!” the invoice says.
“Pay what you owe online.”
I’ve always paid the bills my way
And things have worked out fine.
Despite my smartphone, basically
I’ll never be high-tech,
But companies are glad, I’m sure,
When they receive my check.

It’s Dead! Buried! Murdered! By
Societal Evolution. Technology has
Guillotined it, chopped to,
Shards of quick transference.
Paperless, Ephemeral, Unbounded By
Chemical mixtures, giving whole
Recognition, permanence. Now
It is whisked away, as Dandelion fluff
In the wind of electrons.
Meaning given by consent of,
Ignorant users, only capable of,
Mangling, what they could not
comprehend in full form.
Butchers trying to extract more
Time for Air Head endeavors of
Tactile and Visual and Auditory,
Sensations of Erotic Exercises,
That soon callous the senses.

Imagism
Curl me up a tree
Wrap me into a bundle
Light me up like a candle
The warmth of my joy
Kills the carvings you fear
Yes, it bothers me
How you take pleasure in my pain
We are paperless in this age
The pen is made useless on a page
This knowledge falls on deafness
Enlightenment ends in blindness
Scientists, powerless
Fear big business
Imagine the textbooks in the toilets
Education flushed down the drain
The empty classrooms
The air thick with ignorance
The stench of a mental disease
Written on the chalkboard, “REcyKiLL”
FAX me to your heart’s content
The pulp, I hope he gets a paper cut
I wept until my roots were uprooted
My leafless branches dried up and twisted
My timber became rooftops
At least cultivate me an artificial forest
A sort of vegetation urbanisation
Then my offspring would grow
To see the light of day
Taller than the black clouds of smoke
I couldn’t clear

The dark and moonless night at sea
reflected well his mood,
from where he stood out by the rail
the ship seemed not to move.
He was gazing far away
into years gone by,
where there resided youthful joy
to recapture if he’d try.
He wore a paper around his neck
dangling on a string,
three letters there made an acronym
and such horror they did bring.
Put there by an officer
blue uniformed and stern,
because he had no documents
to his homeland…. he must return.
Turned away the very day
he landed on the island,
destitute and paperless
being denied asylum.
He watched the statue fade astern
after seeing her rise at dawn,
a goddess from the sea of hope
and all of his was gone.
The tag he wore about his neck
was his last and final doom,
WOP spelled “none for me.”
as he stood there in the gloom.
“With Out Papers” the letters meant
said the officer who put them on,
America’s milk and honey
was not for everyone.
Hustled back aboard the ship
without the means to pay,
no bunk no cabin or meals to eat
on deck all night and day.
His homeland would not welcome him
he was on the wrong side of their fight,
dispossessed and on the run
returning filled him with fright.
With only one place left to go
he was filled with true regret,
but the decision was an easy one
so over the side he leapt.
His body washed up on the shore
not uncommon for Ellis island,
there he was buried for eternity
finally finding his asylum.

Old Times and New
I travel in my wandering mind
To a different day and time
Back to the mid-40's
When a cute young secretary was I.
Back when dresses marked size 14
Are current day skimpy 10s,
That's where this reminiscing poem
Is about to begin.
Copying documents or research for themes
Required an old Xerox machine;
Filled with fluid and a tray
It was the high tech of its day.
Causing just a little bit to splash,
Was an economical duress,
For even a drop of it would make a hole
In a pure silk, wool or cotton dress.
The copies had to be hung and dried,
Sometimes unreadable even then;
Remember those old yellowed pages
You see in old books now and again?
Then there was the mimeograph,
Stencils typed and clicked on a wheel,
I had a cute boy working with me,
I did my best to make him reel.
Old manual typewriters with ribbons,
Underwood, Smith Corona and Remington,
My daddy washed piece by piece in gasoline
Built BC (before computers) or electric ones.
We went through MTST machines and
Computers in air conditioned rooms with ducts,
Before arriving at desk and laptops,
Our paperless society is now recycle bins and trucks
Progress? I don't know - is this primitive now?
Will they really put a chip in our brain
Where we can think a task and still make love.
Has technology made us insane?

Paperless dolls and run-less runs –
Roller coaster rides and fun-less fun.
Hopscotch and blisters; banana-seat bikes –
Hand games and shout-backs too.
Quiet-less walks at 3:00 in the morn –
Virtual stranger rides with indecency.
Cracker-jacks and white wine spritzers –
Early morning-midnight bizarre.
Hellish targets for our holy aims –
Lipsticks red and perfumes sweet.
Mustard corndogs with licorice malt –
Chocolate mustache with milk beards.
Sunstroke and fallacy whipping tales –
Tongue-tied talk and all the such.
Hair-unwoven nightmares & bobby pins –
Lurid washed-out make-up; oh the horror.
Candy-less sugar pops dressed in green –
Wrappers prettied up in dazzling clash.
Malt whiskey and bourbon please –
Ante up for your hill-less ride.

Paperless here, ink invisible for "write"
Cyber space cannot reach.. far offsite..
Sadly missing you, things not same..
Taken from us.. whose to blame?
Such great tragedy, your untimely demise.
Leaving us grieving, with no reprise..
Lives damaged when your Spirit departed..
Hearts aching.. lost much when parted..
Lover of life.. Sweet natured Soul..
Nursing, tending.. You kept us whole..
Family oriented, guided us.. one minded..
Brother, Sister, and I .. siblings binded..
Still close because of values instilled..
Basically good, like you.. strong willed!
Always kind, ever thoughtful, very giving..
Even our biggest errors, graciously forgiving..
Beautiful, savvy~ Wise, funny and smart..
Too soon.. suddenly.. you did depart..
Cannnot send "e-mail", postcard or letter..
Taking it higher.. ultimately much better..
By Jesus messenger, Wings of Dove..
On Angel's Wings.. to Heaven Above..
Since normal means, esp wouldn't do..
Sending ~Prayers~ .. "Mama, We Love You"..

SAVE A TREE AND GO PAPERLESS.
THE GLOBALIST SET A TRAP.
WE WERE PLAYED LIKE A BUNCH OF
FOOLS. NOW EXPOSED TO CYBER ATTACKS.
CREDIT CARDS FOR EVERYONE.
YOUR CURRENCY IS BASED ON DEBT.
SPEND MORE MONEY THAN YOU
REALLY MAKE SO YOUR OBLIGATIONS
CAN'T BE MET.
DITCH THE PHONE AND BUY A CELL.
IT'S ALL YOU'LL EVER NEED.
WELCOME TO THE DIGITAL WORLD.
WHERE ALL IS BASED ON GREED.
RADAR RANGE WAS CONVENIENT
IT COOKS FROM THE INSIDE OUT.
CONNECT THAT TO YOUR 5G PHONE
LET'S WATCH HOW THAT WORKS OUT.
ELECTRIC CARS WILL SAVE THE WORLD.
UNTILL YOU UNDERSTAND.
JUST LIKE ALL COMPUTERS.
CONTROL IS IN BIG TECH HANDS.
TECHNOLOGY IS REALLY WONDERFUL.
TALK ABOUT COMPLETE CONTROL.
YOU CAN TRAVEL ANYWHERE YOU LIKE
BUT NO MATTER BIG BROTHER KNOWS.
TRAPPED IN A DIGITAL WORLD.
CONTROLLED BY INVISIBLE MINDS.
YOU ARE SLAVES AND CYBORGS
EXTINCT FROM WHAT WAS ONCE MANKIND.
LET'S CELEBRATE TRANSHUMANISM.
WELCOME TO COMPLETE CONTROL.
WHERE WE TEACH YOU WHAT WE
WANT. THAT'S ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW.
WE CENSORED THOSE FREAKY DISSIDENTS.
THEIR THOUGHTS ARE OBSOLETE.
LIVING OUTSIDE THE MATRIX
DEPRIVED OF FOOD TO EAT.
THIS IS THE ULTIMATE POWER.
WE DECIDES WHO LIVES AND DIES.
DON'T YOU DARE RAISE YOUR VOICE.
OR ASK THE QUESTION WHY.
NOW...LISTEN... FOR A.MOMENT...
TELL ME WHAT YOU SEE.
IS YOUR FUTURE LOOKING BRIGHT
AND ARE YOU TRULY FREE ?

Free verse
did you ever descry
the traces of crimson
etch endless paths
above the ocean
or see the sun bleed
in greater depths
as it bid farewell
to amethyst hues
in dusk's skies
before darkness settled in
like thoughts
invading mind's
as night's dew fell
heavy in struggled breaths
the rhythm of day
winding down
beneath the ocean's pulse
as it lashed back
wet-kissing the shore
as your heart sank
into unknown layers
of torment of secrets
tumbling along
through the motions
of life, as if lost
there was no treasure there
just whispered cries
as fate tempted
tiny hands
to lash back
bridge the gap
of life and death
a lifeless body
breathless before me
rested beneath
the ground
where i stood
buried yet alive
in apperception
of closed eyes
i traced the edges
of debilitated pain
childhood memories
pressing back
in blades of grass
and more
across folds
of flesh
connecting freckles
on ivory canvas
as i bled deep
my pain
but your never saw
the scores of lines
that led back to you
i'd assail you
who caused this pain
in scribbles
on paperless sheets
where thoughts trickled
in crimson ink
from depths hidden
within a child's mind
as she wondered
alone, unseen
