Bullying in America
"About 77% of students have admitted to being the victim of of one type of bullying or another."

My stomach tightens once again
By now I know the drill
It doesn't matter what I do
Move on, scream out, stand still
My heartbeat throbbing louder now
As heavy footsteps near
My mouth, dry as a cotton ball
My shoulders hunch in fear
Suddenly, I feel the sting
My cheek turns cherry red
The smack has almost knocked me down
The pain shoots through my head
Now words so cruel they pierce my heart
I try to block the sound
My efforts useless yet again
Scars stain my soul deep down
I touch my flesh to feel it swell
My light begins to die
My head held low, I walk away
Too numb by now to cry...
"Approximately 30% of young people admit to bullying others."

For me, each morning starts the same
No feelings, just routine
Commands and orders barked my way
"Get up! Get dressed! Get clean!"
I step into the blinding sun
Yet pause before I go
Just once to hear, "I love you dear."
The door slams; I should know
The sadness that I used to feel
Has slowly turned to rage
So off to school I stomp ahead
My heart locked in a cage
Not long after I arrive
I choose my timid deer
My heavy footsteps lead the way
Toward the scent of fear
My hand hits flesh; I feel relieved
To share my hidden pain
I utter words so cruel and vile
Too numb to feel ashamed...
"It is reported that 70.6% of young people say they have seen bullying in schools."

Standing near my closest friend
I feel the tension rise
By now, I know what to expect
Not once am I surprised
My fingers tremble slightly still
As I await the scene
I fight the stinging in my eyes
Why is this world so mean?
I watch my best friend cower now
The same thing every day
I cringe for what's about to come
As predator seeks prey
My inner struggle swallows me
I long to take a stand
I fear the wrath if I intrude
Escape, I haven't planned
So helplessly I witness pain
Inflicted on my friend
I wish I had the courage to
Make the bullying end...
As darkness approaches,
among corrupt horizons.
To the angel in my nightmares-
no longer can I survive,
chained to such expectations.
Let me live in peace,
don't let this vessel sink.
Show me mercy and,
let this heart drown
in a thousand petals,
immersing in fragile fragrances.
So this soul can flow,
bathing in illuminating streams,
cleansing these painful afflictions.

Silent One
PAINFUL LOVE AFFAIR
I love you, my love
I don't know why?
You are working hard,
I love you from nine to five
Soon will clock out
Going to our separate ways
To a life, I was forced at hand
Thanks for the attention,
My husband does not give.
Simple kisses with full affection
A love affair
No more teasing, no more flirting
Sneaking and releasing our lust and tension
Accidently caring.
We see everyone just staring.
Two lives now were torn
I love the things we talk about
Until that one day,
Which is now,
I have to say goodbye
Writing you a last love letter
Explaining the reason why?
No one can make this better
All I can do about this is cry
You said your wife was in doubt
My husband after soon found out
At that moment, I felt the need to die
In my face, he did more than shout.
Now I sit ---
Far away where I can't say hi
It's your baby, with no doubt.
The one thing my husband wants to deny
This love affair I can never talk about
Dead and gone

The words I hold back,
leaves painful bite marks
making my tongue bleed,
leaving my mouth full of blood.
With the pain being so unbearable,
I realize speaking my mind is less painful.
So I will no longer bite my tongue
I will say whatever's on my my mind
and let my words flow,
because I'm not here to be a people pleaser
and I'm defiantly not starting today.
The Painful Facts
The nervous system originates in the brain.
Nerves send and receive signals to feel pleasure, fear or pain.
A baby’s diaper rash causes crying, pain and suffering,
Her torment needs attention , care and buffering,
She is so sensitive to pain, as were you and I ,
The slightest discomfort caused us to cry.
But because this is pain we can not now recall,
It does not mean we didn’t experience it all,
The nervous system is developed in Mom’s womb long before birth,
Of course, most people know this fact, for what it’s worth,
Why else does the babe instinctively move away,
When the medical probe is maneuvered her way?
She does not know the terms “women’s rights“, “choice” and “abortion”,
As she is killed, screaming in a fear and pain filled contortion,
But that baby’s pain simply doesn’t matter in this world of darkened lights,
She missed the boat when the flag unfurled for choice and women’s rights.
Dear child, you are just not old enough to be without pain and fear,
You see, we have too many excuses times one million a year.
May God buffer your pain my little friends when your shortened time is through,
And forgive your Moms and Dads for we may or may not know what we do.
And ask God to have mercy on us self blinded pretend Christians too,
As we vote for politicians who promote killing your siblings and you.
Dedicated to Chantel
This is a repost of the poem written 5/01/2010 in answer to a charge that babies don't feel pain anyway so it's okay to abort them.
The news today 4/17/2012 (AP news) reports that the fetal pain abortion law which recently came about in three states because of the scientific proof that unborn babies do feel pain is now under attack because people want to kill the little ones anyway in spite of their proven torture.
Perhaps some day our society will become civilized and history will reveal these acts for the barbarianism that it indeed is. Until then let's keep praying for our youngest most vulnerable minority friends.
Apparently now, Jan in the year 2019, States like New York have opted to let go of civilization altogether and drown their laws with paganism and child sacrifice. Lord God have mercy on us !? or not?

ET TU VERMONT ? FEB 20 2019
It's still flowing, never stopping to change direction
Cuts are made without sharpening, perfection;
Behold the pain; beholden, the bastard
This river's banks, always see the last word
The stream of water that only the ravens tend;
Panning for painful metaphors; to no end
Flowing; with all the liquidity of a snake
There's just more confusion in its wake
Why has this mortal life made no sound?
This brook beguiled; the lost and drowned
I close my eyes to imagine your face
but pain invades and the image is erased
tears gather at the corner of my eyes
as i sit and remember all of your lies
I try to reach out to see if your there
but the feeling is cold and your presence is bare
reality stings as i tremble alone
searching for answers im left only to roam
puzzled and confused and in terrible disbeleif
how your goodbye was so sudden and unexpectantly brief
I struggle with knowing with what i should do
how to cope with the loss of someone I knew
but after what you did I know it was wrong
still you were the one to leave and be gone
I had hope that forgiveness would be more than enough
but as i was trying you chose to give up
now im left with emotions of many different shades
and the connection is gone as your memory fades
A Painful Tribute to my earth
Before me you were
I am here and you are
Thus both of us are together now.
Alas, I will be gone and you will go on!
You are giving me endlessly
And spreading on me lavishly.
Despite it, I plunder you;
I exploit you;
I mistreat you;
I don’t care for you.
I have forgotten that you are a living organism -
You need my care;
You need my concern;
You need my gentle respect.
You are not losing me;
I am losing you.
I am depleting you;
I am exhausting you;
I am rushing you to devastation
And in that I am rushing to my own exit.
What was, is nor more;
What is, will be gone
What will be, is not known.
Help me become aware of your sigh
Help me become aware of your neigh
Help me become aware of my own destruction
Help me save you to save myself.
Show me your might
Show me your power
Show me your anger
Show me your arrogance
Make me learn
Make me move
Make me understand your cry
Cry; make me hear your cry!
Cradled me like a mother then
Let me cradle you now
Help me help you
To achieve my selfishness
Love you, mother earth!
Love you dearly!
Thank you for nourishing me
Thank you for holding me
For enfolding me
Help me love you and love you more!

Standing where I am when no one can see,
I see a picture of a purple daisy staring at me.
A dew drop on top with like a tear from my eye,
I see my painful past and start to cry.
I needed to see something to make me feel happy,
but that tear on a petal made me feel sappy.
No reason for sadness except feeling remorse,
see, since love died my life's been thrown off course.
I see a field of emerald with a sky of azure,
but can't really see the depth of it's beautiful allure.
I feed off of my sorrow and crave my pain,
in the sunshine I see nothing but a daisy in the rain.
Upon her nectar she holds a Monarch butterfly,
I see black and white and have no idea why.
Maybe cuz' my love used to be full of red hues,
and now all I can see is the blacks and blues.
No daisy can amaze me like the way love did,
drives me crazy and I get hazy...that's why I hid.
But this painting I see is usually my artisan style,
so why can't I find a way to share a lovely smile?

Stood as tallest,
Looking towards the sky
Glancing the world surround,
Abode for many,
Mess for the world
bunk room for any,
Embodiment of kindness
Staining is a hobby at intervals,
Green is most favorite,
Also like to dress in red and yellow!
To the world,
Me and my friends cry for one thing
To make up us , keep us more charm,
It’s painful to unmask our green clothes!
To the brilliant minds,
Please,
Don’t undress us…!
Pain is not painful
Until you fall in love
That moment you feel
a missing rib in your body
and honey water turns sour
When you wish just for a moment
Of freedom from earth
When your brain can't reason well
and your eyes can't see well
The time you enter the process
of transition
From old self to new self
Knowing the reality of life
Knowing that love is not real
It's a trick to cause you pain
One moment of joy
and years of pains
Love makes you wallow in regret
Where you find yourself in dark corners
Gummed to the wall waiting
For death to grace your soul
with eternal bliss
And eventually you
fall in love again
Knowing the terrible
Fate that awiats you
Does it take you back? Does it knock you down and beat you bloody? Or does
it rip your heart out of your chest and leave you bleeding and crying? Why
should anyone ever have to face this kind of pain? Because strength comes
from pain, through strength and pain come endurance. And only the strong
survive.
If reading this disturbs you
you're not the only one.
You are probably being reminded
of something you have done.
I am your painful reminder
that no one will forget.
I will always speak my mind.
I am not finished yet.
The pain you feel is nothing
compared to what you've done.
Don't worry, I know you're reading this
(and you're not the only one.)
The drug
Everything is gone I’ve thrown it all away
Was I happy anyway
With all this emotions all That I feel
Is it me is it real
Or is this just the drug I feel
All of my family all of my friends
All pushed away
No more to depend
are these feelings real
or am I really ill
Or is this just the drug I feel
I’ll check the bank one last time
See if there is enough maybe another line
How could you believe that this would all be fine
Always chasing the thrill
Or is this just the drug I feel
Why do I sit in pain and fear
Drowning in this flood of tears
You chose your road
And you rode it well
You didn’t jump off
Even when you arrived here in hell
It came and took all there was to steal
Or is this just a drug I feel
I sit here now waiting for that high
Don’t believe a word of it you’re just gonna cry
Emotions will flood you like a huge wave
They’ll be strong the same as your overpowering crave
Are these my feelings still
Or is this just the drug I feel
How much longer can i go
I’m afraid I really don’t know
But if this is really just the drug I feel
Them I’m sure one day it will kill
Not nearly long enough, a king’s words
what to expect from a tyrant's paradox absurd
making sure not a drop is lost as consumed
she holds the cobalt blue bowl to her lips
a grape tint gauze tied gently around her hips
it tells of an impregnated womb
a farewell toast to the warriors aboard ships
or a drink of what they’ll lack, that and more
of the destiny a young husband has in store
departing are ships, she ponders them upon the sea
the open book in front of her kept unread
behind her, replacement ships underway, as relief
what has been too long, for any sailor this dread
out at sea in despair of the unknowing, the grief
Of sailors jumping overboard, an S O S ignored
what any wife can’t bear, their king has no empathy
furious are the wives of the lies told
a sword has stricken through the hearts of gold
replacement ships finally, underway to relieve
what has been too long for any sailor out at sea
