Bridge Over Troubled Water

If my memory serves me well
you were once a friend of mine
need I remind you, pray do tell
a friend who overstepped the line
friend became lover became husband so fine

I'm longing now to feel your arms
Sailing amid memories divine
Right when I thought, I was over your charms
behind my eyes, beneath my skin, you twine

Like an almost forgotten memory
a song, your words combine
bridge across time, consoling me
over and over, our dreams align
troubled tho our paths maybe
water flows through sands of time, for me

I feel your love
Will you always feel mine?
ease the parting, herein-above
your gift, our love, define
mind and soul are thine.

Nature's Poetess

As I chant my sisters' creed,
And forge my talisman,
I remember violent lullabies
That I still can't understand.
I say if these wilds could be controlled,
With wants to habilitate,
Than why on Earth would fractured souls
Still thrive to fornicate?
So here I am,
My guise be true,
Thy young sorceress,
Controlled by wilds of casting spells,
And sensual naughtiness!
I bled for them,
I chased the sun,
Now I've tied my tourniquet.
Everything that once was blue,
Is now raging violet!
The Garden's dark,
The moon is full,
I dance while I undress;
In this place, this dance, this time,
I am Nature's poetess,
As if somehow,
Back long ago,
With boundaries overstepped,
I led a life,
Oh hearts do Scream!
I lived a life unwept!

Premium Member Forgive Me Mother Earth

For decades now

We, your children, dear mother earth,

Have been stabbing you

Each year

Each day

Each hour

Each second

Causing you to bleed profusely, while

We, indifferent to your suffering, were:

Watching

Laughing

Drinking

Dancing and

Having a good time

For

We thought your blood was inexhaustible and

That you would bleed forever, without any consequence on

Our own life

But

Slowly we came to realize that you are as mortal as

We are, subject to the same laws of decay,

A shocking thought was indeed for us

But

In spite of this realization

We never stopped hurting;

You

Your animals

Your forests

Your rivers

Your lakes

Your seas

Your oceans

You see, dear mother earth,

We have sacrificed all you have held dear for

Millions of years to the altar of

Our egoism and that of

Our vanity

Now,

As we see you lie in your death bed,

We, your conceited and spoiled children,

Have decided to give you the last chance,

To stop your bleeding,

To end your torture and your agony so as to give you

Time to recover.

Yes, we know,

Our action is not out of magnanimity or of love for you

But mainly out

Of fear we might destroy our blasphemous species

That has overstepped the limits that our Lord and creator

Has set from the moment of his creation

For that

I for one, on my knees, humbly I plead your

Forgiveness for my participation in this horrid and

Macabre crime of Matricide!

UNITED NATIONS (AP) — The historic agreement on climate change marked a major milestone on Friday with a record 175 countries signing on to it on opening day.
With the planet heating up to record levels, sea levels rising and glaciers melting, the pressure to have the Paris Agreement enter into force and to have every country turn its words into deeds was palpable at the U.N. signing ceremony.

"The world is in a race against time," U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said in his opening speech. "The era of consumption without consequences is over."

Marital Regrets Best Left Unkept

Through thick and thin those rules of a vow bent
It pricks within a bond never heaven sent
Numerous signs shown to eyes so love blind
A devious design should have been left behind

Boundaries we both set grossly overstepped
Promises meant to be kept now mostly regrets
Prayed for a family but deviated from folded hands
Heart slayed a tragedy then meditated to understand

Grass looked greener hopped the fence it was scorched
Needed a disclaimer the whole front yard torched
Searchin for a solution that holds no retribution
Never found absolution so separations the conclusion

To break out of bondage make sense out of nonsense
For a sexual offence have to find mental defense
Cant keep giving chances when options are squandered
Life would be advanceless if this i just pondered.

Ephemeral Online Moment

Ephemeral online moment...

Yours truly plagiarizes himself with zeal
courtesy mental cogs and rusty wheel,
thus no literary crime committed to steel
I broadcast material shown thru rickety

Tell Me What You Really Think

You sat and looked at me as if,
I had lost my mind.
You told me I was crazy,
That I was unrefined.
The kind of life I offered
That you could not accept.
I think there’s just a few lines
That I may have overstepped.

You said I had a screw loose
That I was fruity as a bat.
You called me crazy as a loon
 Delirious and erratic.
Deranged, demented, dingy daft.
Bonkers, crazed and cracked
Unbalanced, unglued, unhinged unzipped
Kooky, mad and whacked.

You said I was a lunatic
Psycho and berserk
Out of my freakin mind
A screwy, batty, jerk
You called me a screwball
A flaky no good fink
And I said babe tell me
What you really think.

                help make this possible.

A non existant forward, it may seem
weeks of contiuous tests, hearts full of hope
proven that it can be overstepped

The Way They Meet

The clouds are rolling and the rivers are flowing
The birds are singing and the bells are ringing
I have come to this place to unite the human race
But some people have overstepped the boundaries
And have gone past their places and get entwined
in another phase. I have witnessed the sun and the
moon crossing path in the middle of the dark and
the wind mesmerizing and singing a bountiful hymn
One cast plays the tune for the man that is coming
From the moon. You cannot trust the moon walkers
and the sky stalkers who take rocks to the moon
and pour water on ships to prove that there is water
to swim. Why do you want to seize power in an hour?
When I have spent forty years researching rocks and
Water on the moon, you are space copycat and
And a secret conniving rat
There is a solace in the moon that is taking shape
And moving towards the middle of gate,
The big band is playing the New Orleans jazz sound
And the visitors are moving around,
They are walking up down Kitchen Street
And looking for something to eat
They are showing off their cultural clout
And walking around with a nasty frown
I have not seen a parade since I got here
And the dancers and hookers have disappeared
There is nothing to share and the rum is drying up
And the people are running around with much fuss
I can tell that the end is near and the mountains
will soon disappear, victory will be on the run
And we will have the much needed fun
Bad men will get up and run and hand over their
guns, the fussy cussy people will run away
And the music will slowly fade away
The streets will left bare and empty and
Shops will hold on to their misery
The town will shake in the middle of the night
and the wind will blow in full magnitude
And a new energy will flow through the miserable town
I will board the plane and fly away in the middle of the day
I can see the seagulls dancing around on the shores
endorsing the creeps with their long beaks
Busting it up from the ocean floor
The ice is melting and ocean fish is surfacing
Multitudes of then appears from the bottom of the ocean.
Flipping and flopping on the dry land and walking hand in hand
That is the way they meet.

Revival

Once again I have died for love
This corpse of a child has wept
Now all life has the depth of blood
And every boundary is overstepped

A dead end into the night
As shadows envelop my skin
And all subservient dreams of light
Are inverted and burned within

We surround ourselves with the past
Us sleepers of dark descent
As we smile we secretly cast
Lasting spells that echo the end

I can barely contain the night
As this silence defines my sins
Beyond the blood I feel every light
Yet my demon still pulls the strings

We are but the poisoned death
Revived with the strangest gifts
An art that can steal your breath
And the courage to not exist

Yet I am still alive in this
Searching for truth to see
How I can be lost in her kiss
When my chaos does not agree

For Boys of Tomorrow

For boys of tomorrow who went,
forgive our ignorance of the old,
forgive us for taken the unripe
mangoes from the top of the trees.
Let your minds be written restfully,
the sky owes us an obligation to protect you.
The sun was once our enemy in the noon
that was why we overstepped and slept
with those innocent girls made for tomorrow.
We bred fears and our sins have purged us all-
We are the ancient keeper of the culture
yet, abuse it openly in the eyes of tomorrow,
for boys who went after us,
Ikemefuna will come again,
this time not from Okonkwo' lineage;
for Okonkwo was weak even to himself.
Not through Kainene; for she lost her prestige.
Not after Inu-Ego; for she died longing for children.
Not through Kambili, for she was braver than earth.
We are imperfect because we are human
of breast milk.
The sins of your fathers shall be of secret,
It will not be used against you all.
Forgive us for the mistakes to come,
we have a dream that your dreams will be our dreams,
not of faith but of grace, grace of thought.
We've sinned before the creator but
arrange your hopes in an ancending order,
tomorrow holds a greater testament on your faces.
Forgive us for marrying your mothers even before
their shy apples came out to see the dark earth.
If the moon has to cry,
let it be upon our head.
Put the blame on us, for we are human;
we are imperfect human of breast milk,
for butter is not meant for monkeys.

Lawbreaker

pretence
where lies are common to be polite and opinions
are only accepted if it is the realm of what is
viewed as the norm and must not be overstepped.
I believe in the free expression but am sceptical of the free will as it will only bring chaos such as abortion as on the whim of the day. You can say I`m an authoritarian ascertain order has to follow the law of nature, which many consider as an infringement of rights.
What Right!
Europe has a shrinking population thanks
to the idea that the morality of the unwritten law
that can be overlooked without any consequence
of the future generation.
Abortion is capitalist thinking eat your cake today
and never mind what happens when we have gone.
