Unlike the Sun
I have always had
Options – not to be
Constant
Turning light on and
Off at will
Choosing my own horizons
Clear or inclement pigments
I can paint with a broad abstract
Brush
Or dot and dab a refining master --
------------------------------------------
The Soul accepts all contrasts
And textures
A Higher Nature must decide which to frame
Or discard --
Within mundane days
Countless options haunted once
Until best opted
Nothing rise nor fall
Only learning lessons gained
Real experience
Time and space don't bind
Anything comes in mind's eye
Heights and slopes achieved
Sparks of lights mingled
Consciousness creates matter
Reality without
Broader perception
Discerned beyond paradox
Life is a pattern.
choosing between two;
only destiny has answers
A hotel room can be sad and old
but also stylish and contemporary
A room with two beds and a desk
a soft chair and one hard chair
Phone and The Bible in the drawer
Some pictures on the wall of
people or places I do not know
If I open the window, it's just noise
and exhaust the basis of traffic
No give me one night or two
in a cozy little cabin in the woods
Where the bear, fox and moose live
And I can wake up to birds singing beautifully
Hi ... there is a room available for you at the hotel

RX options..
I was on a medication of deception,
Didn’t stop and make correction,
To the lies that I believed,
You don’t just wake up one morning deceived,
So if the doctor writes that prescription,
Ill let the truth be the inscription,
On the walls in the rooms of my heart,
To view when an erring voice starts.
I watched something on the television in a program about Euthanasia
And since my father died from cancer what palliative care would be a saviour
I can understand I think how sick people would want a choice in their death
And some dignity with it from degenerative diseases that are horrible in their breath
Countries are legislating this choice for their people in their death decision's depth
The Netherlands made it legal with the help of a doctor to have an assisted death
Then the program showed Antoinette a Dutch older citizen
Whose ailment was a psychological illness in her lament in her end
With her doctor she presented an argument about ending it all
Because her depression was so bad she wanted it to count as her fall
On the day of her death she had her friends, son and daughter there
For a death ceremony in her bedroom after saying goodbye for all to care
If these end of life options were to be legislated for each one of us
With a lowering of the bar would other reasons for suicide be without a fuss
When these reasons are factored in would we shrug and say it's want they want
And assisted deaths become the norm in examining their reasons in their font
Old age, infirmity, disability or person's finite choice would be the reason
With a doctor's note agreeing to the reasons pinned to the latest victim in the end
But I find these psychological reasons to be without a lot of sense for assisted suicide
Smacking of the Nazis and getting rid of people that society would not abide
Finally would it be that the person to die may not have a choice for themselves?

CE - Capture/Exterminate
Not only is this inhumane, it doesn't work at any rate.
A "vacuum effect" is all that will create,
vacuuming outside ferals into a territory already great
for food, shelter and to repopulate.
Within a few months the very same problem you'll have to face.
CR - Capture/Relocate
Again, the "vacuum effect" is all that will create.
Outside ferals will move in after the others relocate.
Relocated ferals often live harsher lives before dying a harsh fate.
It doesn't work, and again is very inhumane at any rate.
TNR - Trap/Neuter/Return
The most humane and most effective solution,
for maintaining and controlling feral cat overpopulation.
A surgically fixed and healthy feral cat colony,
is beneficial to any and every human community.
They'll keep outside intact feral cats out of "their" territory.
Fights for mating rites will greatly decrease,
no more unwanted litters of kittens being born regularly,
all while keeping our community vermin free.
TNR feral cats provide a service for our community,
and in return all they ask from anybody,
is that we make their lives as comfortable as can possibly be.
There Is Only One
true feral cat option.
