The newest addition to my family
My bro-in-law christened him Milo
Another named him Jimmy
He’s more like a Chuckie
to me—driving me loco
The greenest eyes
He’s pretty lucky
He loves pink salmon
and playing catch
with crumpled paper I toss,
the unwanted poems I scratch
Biggie (aka) needs weight loss
I tumbled as I stepped over him,
A simple little thing
By eliminating gravy ‘til he gets slim
Pet adopting
It’s what the New Year will bring

The Newest Old Movement

We watched Frida Kahlo
with our backs toward the rice fields
The monkey fits tightly to her breast,
her right breast. A parrot
on her left shoulder; two chatter-boxes that mimic
What if the wolves pull our wool over our eyes?

In lands where barbarians sacrifice youths for takings, the woman
that speaks like a man wears the trousers in our houses
She muddled up many sharp wits, but not mine;
I’ve seen the Adam’s apple
Why are we standing taller than our heroes,
and what honor is a wheel-chair to a builder?

We‘ve seen Miss Kahlo these days, she believes she can
paint a brighter picture. Her children are media fed,
and far from initiative; they hunger to prove Marx’s theory,
but are scared of the manifesto and the horror
mushroomed by the monkey and the parrot on News at Ten
In George’s house, where some acquire the taste for caviar,
a man is understood like Fidel if he argues for an amendment

When Frida went out for tea, and Donald considered running
From behind the white wall came the joke, and the four winds
were primed to laugh. The monkey whispers lies to Sarah,
and the parrot is frequent on the Oprah Show,
Oprah, like Frida Kahlo, wears testes,
not under corset but beneath Victoria Beckham

The Newest Welfare Queans Or the Attack On Public Workers

I'm a librarian,
I'm a postman,
I'm a welfare queen,
dancing the scapegoat,
dancing the scapegoat,
dancing the scapegoat scene.

I'm a teacher,
bus driver,
secretary,
garbageman.

Wage worker,
politician,
war veteran
fireman.

Army sergeant,
Navy sergeant,
air force pilot
......and police.

Dancing the scapegoat,
dancing the scapegoat,
dancing on the poor house trampoline.

Dancing the scapegoat,
dancing the scapegoat,
dancing the scapegoat
all day long.......

so I'm a dancing the scapegoat,
I'm dancing the scapegoat,
I'm dancing the scapegoat,
I'm dancing the scapegoat,
I'm dancing the welfare...
double standard heath care,
budget cutting,
scapegoating,
life killing,
poor house dealing,
rich lovin,
poor hatin,
capitalist scene.

Newest of Them All

To feel the world in a different place
Not far from home
Yet worth the wait

What is this world with dogs
And many taste
And loads of race.

Once home in my bed
A million thoughts
In my head

A little brain,
A big train
Hey could these things be the same.

Lets wait and see
Until I'm thirteen
Becuase right now I am a New
Little baby.

Welcome to the world little Avery Thomas.

Newest Limerick

There was a young lady from Macon
Who cooked up a big batch of bacon
Her boyfriend ate some
And so did a bum
Now both of their bellies are aching

My Newest Old Friend

My Newest Old Friend.

Scene: Front of my (Grandma’s) apartment at the Beach.

Characters: Three young boys, around twelve, ten and eight.

Grandma, 73 yrs old. (We’ll call her “G”)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Time: Day before yesterday.

The three boys are standing next to my parking place,
Dripping wet in their bathing suits
Munching on some snack or other.
We’ve never met before.
They are staying here at the beach,
For the weekend.

G, after a long day,
Struggles to get out of her Jeep.
She is wearing Ed Hardy shoes,
and a jacket with skulls on it.
The twelve year boy old giggles.

G: Are you laughing at me?

Boy: No, You’re Cool !

G: Do you think I’d go over well in Miami?

Boy: Yes.

G. Bye, I’ve got to go to the mailbox.

Boy: See ya later, alligator,
         In the hip hop clothes!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Time: Today.

Characters: G and the twelve year old boy.

G. Is standing on the second floor stairs balcony.

Boy is coming back from taking pizza box to the trash.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

G: Hi. What’s up?

Boy: Nothin’. What’s up with you?

G: I’m going to a picnic.

Boy: I’m going to the Beach. See ya later.

MA NEW PAIN

Moody night with many dead
rhymes.....in tears for the last
time i broke her mime....in ma
heart i did wish i could hold
her to ma arms.,,but did ma
heart alot of harm....
Silly days yet never cease to
come,in their interest they
seems to run,with every
happy mode they cease not
to turn.....in ma sincerity
never stop to mourn the
days of lorn,i wished could
give back in return,but death
took her without ma heart to
warn......

In ma silent mode love was
blamed,,,,in ma heart is
written her name.....with a
broken heart in same.....

In ma promises death made
me a failure,i losted ma pride
in fear with tears like am
inferior....pains penetrates
ma heart like invador....for
how long will i mourn ma joy in
ma insure?......death pains ma
joy without a means to
cure.....where is love to plant
her name in ma memory with
everlasting manure....to
control ma brain like
braintumor?

This i wish, yet ma heart pays
the pains and tears on every
unknown year we
breach.....tell me love in your
surge,pray for ma days in
worth,,manage ma sorrow
when am not, then i will give
you the reasons why she was
not....i never meant that was
her fault,yet death proved i
wrong....because i never for a
moment express what she
worth...

Gold,diamond,petals worth
nothing at all-when the
greatest value of ma life
recently ran to dust....in ma
abscent without a last
talk......what an empty world i
found maself with no one
else to talk...death did me a
big favor in his thought..........

Premium Member Newest Vaccine Alert

I heard it’s absolutely sublime.
Get yours today, it is divine!

It erases any and all reality of inflation.
Keeps you on a mental-denial vacation.

The vaccine is named,,,”DONKEYPOX!”
Ensures happiness, even though you
cannot afford a pair of socks?

You’ll be just overjoyed to pay more taxes.
As your freedoms are chopped to pieces with
sharpened political axes!

As the US Constitution is put in a blender
to grind to a political stew….
You just smile, living in the latest tent city,
with a magnificent view?

I really, sincerely, do not mean to scare ya!
But this country is more like Venezuela!

Your home is no longer a safe place.
We are all up for IRS invasion~ a total disgrace!
Armed with guns, to put in your face!

You need not be rich~ as to our government,
Your hard earned money is theirs and
Is as delicious as golden, Hawaiian honey!

Premium Member Newest Kid On the Block

It’s the first day of school and I’m really quite nervous.
I don’t know how everyone will react to me.
I wonder what should be my first order of business.
Should I make friends right away or just let it be?

I moved here from the city where I always rode the bus,
But, here in this small town, I live only blocks from the school.
When you’re the new person like me, people tend to make a fuss,
Trying to decide whether or not you’re very cool.

My mother told me just before I left this morning
To just be myself and keep my head held up high.
She said we each have a story and none is boring.
If you always tell the truth, you’ll never have to lie.

I walk in the front door, trying to hide my fear,
Hoping noone can tell that I’m trembling inside.
The principal tells me that just because I’m new here
Doesn’t mean that it will always be a rough ride.

So, I gathered my things and hurried off to my class,
Where we all introduced ourselves politely, in turn.
Since I was the newest addition, I went last.
I stood up and told my new students, “My name is Ms. Kern.”

Newest Victim

I taste you on my tongue
 You fade faster
 my eyes bleed black
why would you leave me here on this broken glass
 shards fill my flesh
 blood crawls across the floor
 break me
 use me
leave me
It's all you know
 I'm your latest victim
I pick my self off this broken floor still bleeding still so in love
You have made a fool of me
and you leave me six feet under to suffer your to much of a coward to finish me so I'll let these pills fix it all
in my last breath I'm free.

Newest Final Impasse

She would, she says incensed, leave one, in an instant, would

go miles to the east, miles and miles away from one,

where one would never, ever "darken her door again".

And she would, she says, her eyes filling suddenly with tears,

"go there for good, never, ever to return, so help [her] God"!

Her "there" is only centimeters away on any road map,

but inside one's breaking heart her "there" might as well be a

million light years away.
