There was a young lady from Macon
Who cooked up a big batch of bacon
Her boyfriend ate some
And so did a bum
Now both of their bellies are aching

Thanks, gw! Raising hogs in the South is a big money maker for those who choose to do it. I much prefer to just eat them in the form of bacon, pork chops, barbecue, etc.

Bacon, crisply fried, with 3 eggs over easy, a toasted bagel, and a large cup of coffee is a good way to start any day! So says this old Georgia Boy!

Thanks, Tim! Somehow, I knew you would be the first to respond. Limericks are my favorites. Macon is a town here in Georgia just 50 miles from where I live. Bacon is one of my favorite foods, and my head is filled with words that rhyme. It my not make the winners list, but it is an original.
