Best Never A Dull Moment Poems

Ungrateful Love

There was never just a you or a me it
was always us from the beginning,
You walked through my front door
and into my life we stayed friends
from the start theres still no end
today, Months went by feelings grew
stronger the time we spent was time
never wasted. Never a dull moment i
laughed, you laughed,i made fun of
you and you did back. I opened up
and let you in to places most people
never knew or been. Time went by
and i grew selfish i thought we
werent enough so i tried to
overcome it, I made mistakes that i
can't right to this day all i can say is
im sorry and continue to change my
ways, Grateful i am for you to let me
back in and let me rebuild your trust
and start all over again. I never
meant to hurt you i couldnt fathom it
kills me inside overlooking that
bumpy ride. I regret the past and i
miss the good times now i embrace
each day that you spend by my side,
To lay on your chest with your arms
around me falling asleep peacefully,
waking up and spotting your eyes
and your smile i can't help but laugh
and kiss your lips. Then the intimacy
soon takes place i truly believe it is
love that we make, You make me feel
things ive never felt when i look in
your eyes or your just on my mind.
Youre the one i want and i want to
make things right i hope that i can
because without you im not alive.

Double Etheree For Andie :)

^_^
Light,
laughter
they mingle
with wit and charm...
A beautiful soul
who wields a gifted pen,
touching each heart with her words
written with a warrior's spirit,
taking on any challenge with grace
She is Andrea, Word Warrior, my friend

There is never a dull moment with her
each visit to the Soup, a delight
Her comments always make me smile,
inspiring me to write gems
She's a kindred spirit
Someone I can trust
Sweet, caring, true
Andrea

The Children Laughter

Beautiful as they are, so is their laughter and smiles
Echoing noise of melody throughout the open sky,
Touching the hearts of parents everywhere, eradicating despair
The children laughter often makes your day,
In spite of the hard work you put in today
It’s a delight to observe their faces as their laughter fills the air
Bringing rays of sunshine even on a cloudy day
Laughter of gladness, laughter of joy naturally flows from within
Never a dull moment and is harmonious to the ear
A Child’s laughter brings a mother’s joy any time anywhere.
Often changing the mood when there is sadness in the air
The beauty of the children laughter tell of
The happiness of their heart
With sparkles in their eyes and a laughter that cannot be denied
Is a tribute to a mothers’ ear
Little children everywhere, filled this earth with pleasant cheer

Mother

She is strong but also weak
with that beautiful smile
so graceful and meek
Her touch is soft
and her words ever so sweet
Never a dull moment
always bright and sometimes lenient
with a positive outlook
even when it's clearly out of the books
She wipes the tears, and forces the smiles
touches the heart
and never you dare cross her child
Mother, Mama, Mom, Mommy
the many names that she goes by
All quite fitting for the warrior inside
with the love giving and super healing ways
she never makes a mistake
Even when you thought she was wrong
give it a day and you'll realize exactly what she was trying to say all along ( you soon realize she was right all along)
She is the all knowing, all loving, super talented and magical gift from the God above

Love Is-

Love is patient.
Love is kind.
It does not ask anything of others.
It doesn’t moan.
It doesn’t complain.
It often goes out of its way to hug others.

Love is never boring.
There is never a dull moment when we are walking in love.
We are carried on the wings of angels who are sent from above.

Love is never self-seeking.
It thinks of others before it thinks of itself.
It has no time for a pity party.
It only wallows in happiness!

Love is eternal.
Love is patient.
Love has all sorts of lifetime benefits.
I wear a rose of love on my lapel today.
I share its scent with all who are near me.

Amen.
Based on I Corinthians chapter 13.

The Type

The first time we spoke for about 30 mins I knew you were trouble
That you were gonna make me break my protocols and stumble
But not stumble to fall to the ground but to fall into your hand
Now the grip is too tight and I can't slip through like sand
But it's alright, you are the kind of trouble I want to get into
My parents say, "stay outta trouble". But this type? I'd love to lean to
My dear you are beautiful beyond compare, absolutely flawless
Your presence is eminent cos every other person turns a gray-scale or colorless

Many women do wonderful things, but you outclass them
Your beauty is too much for me, I'm way in over my head
With just a glance at me, you captured my heart and locked me in your love
Whenever you walk by, all heads turn in admiration and awe
Being with you, there is never a dull moment... I could spend forever with you and never dread any single moment
That is how much life you bring into my existence
These may just be words, but my heart makes a deeper statement

A Letter To My Mom

Mama i thought I made it
But Guess what?
I didn't make it
We made it

Never a Dull moment with you
You fought for me like a Bull
so I will never be a cull

Even though I failed you like a test
you were up and down praying for the curse
that was cast in my existence

And this is not the end of my appreciation
But the beginning of my thanks giving verse
That I wrote

when I was thinking about the love i was given
i had to thank you mom
For you are the best among the rest

Unicorn Magic

Why are the bees singing
As from flower to flower go.
Why have they lost their sting?
Only the Unicorn will know
Cos he magicked it so.

Loves to play with the garden,
Watching the daisies dance.
See the water fountain
Jump, twirl and prance
As though in the myriad trance.

The grass is growing curly
As though the roller made it so.
The worm gets up so early
to watch the Unicorn show.
Laughs, when he start to glow.

A Unicorn is a magician without a hat,
never a dull moment thats true.
The children would be ever gobsmacked
Watching to see what you'll do,
Just wish there were two.

Little Man

Little man little problem
Confined in the box
Pleasure at his leisure
Quelling insatiable hunger

Gust of distrust
Intrusion of endless chatter
Never a dull moment
Yet the land is bad

The land is bad indeed
Day and night on wobbling legs
The hands stocked in pants
Lazily he slouches to bed

The day like a continuous train
Raining misery in cool temper
A trainer he stands to be
Prophesying the doom to come
What a mystery

Of what use was the boom
To his father without a certificate
The oil money is here
My children’s children would laugh

In absence of toil
In absence of work
Even Freetown would never
Give anything for free

There’s a price to pay
A challenge to conquer
Walking through the vile down the aisle
The sandpaper leaves you smooth and polished

Back to your dream
Absolute freedom polished
Unlike the little man’s.

My Dentist

My Dentist:
DR. CERRUD

Speeding down the halls,
the fastest feet around.
Never a dull moment,
composed,
focused,
quick eyes trained for excellence,
and hands that need not be told.
Perfection both in his care and his work.
Presumptuous,
but it appears he is at home when he is at work,
is he at work when he is at home?

In comes the doctor.
Sees not your old clothes,
your ugliness,
nor the pigment of your skin.
Shakes your hands,
and smiles comforting words.
Washes his hands,
then wipes his counter spotless.
Checks his instruments,
and very methodically prepares,
probably more prepared than Moses in his quest to meet God?

Massages your gums.
Ever had that done before?
Lifts the scary needle.
Timidly,
you await the sting of the tranquilizing pain.
But instead,
a prick,
so tiny you keep waiting for the Big One!
Before you know,
he starts drilling away.
Falling asleep,
without fear,
in Dr. Cerrud's chair.

For My Children

(My Son)
A joy to be with
Smart as a whip
Annoying at times ;)

&
   (My Daughter)
Delightful little smiles
Annoying at times ;)
Never a dull moment
Intelligent little girl
Extremely smart
Lovable to no end
Lovely in every way
Excitable when bubba is being mean

Everyone keeps saying try something new. Well here you go. I figured that I would do one
for my children. You guys are the best, thanks for all the help and encouragement.

Premium Member Trolls, Dragons, and Carol

So you think that trolls and dragons
Are definitely not for real
You surely haven't talked with Carol lately
It's more than just a feel

They eat her food and occupy her house
Sometimes hide Mike's pyjamas
And we all know what that can lead to
If we only had a camera

Never a dull moment at Carol's place
Constantly messing her stuff
Fire comes out as Mr. Dragon cracks up
Then giggles at Mike in the buff

The local Dragon and Troll Exterminators
Have promised to get rid of these guys
But she's grown to love 'em a whole big bunch
Won't be party to their demise

So the Dragons and Trolls will have a home
At least for the foreseeable future
What a sweet ending to my poem about love
Tween Carol and her adorable creatures!

Premium Member Spring Time In Alberta

Spring is here at last.
The first buds struggle to rise.
A sudden freeze comes.

The new buds wither.
Birds seek shelter from the cold.
Spring in Alberta.

Temperatures vary
Warm, cold, freezing in one day.
Never a dull moment here.

Happy

I am happy
The happiest I have ever been
I has been many years that I have felt this secure and happy
But my happiness is not superficial
It is emotional,
from the high spirits that my loved ones leave me in.
It is from care,
because all my friends provide me with with everyday.
It is from support,
because even when I'm wrong, there is someone still on my side.
It is from touch,
because whenever I need a hug, there is one waiting for me.
It is from laughs,
because by God, my friends are some of the funniest people to grace my life.
It is from smiles,
because there is never a dull moment between friends
It is from family,
because I have gained a few new members.
And it is from love,
because there is an abundance of it in my life now.
