There is no escape from strange morning whims,
when irritation causes numbness in my limbs.
Dawn has become an unwelcome nemesis,
rage for sunrise an uncontrollable genesis,
disturbing the peace of my silent reverie,
tormenting all that is felt as sensory.

I despise the chirping of hungry birds,
so intrusive as they sing in their herds.
Echoing like chisels chipping at my head,
feeling chained to the corners of my bed.

I seek no pardon for my profanity,
these moods are ***ing with my sanity.
I search for signs of positivity,
but daylight always triggers my sensitivity.

Mind slices my thoughts through dissections,
as I hold my head craving for soundless reflections.
Sluggish eyes with black bags and static lips,
cringe at the mirror as reality grips,
washing away a contradictive smile,
without harmony my life is too much of a trial.
Thinking f*** my life through censored cries,
I don't even have the strength to roll my eyes.

Is there a diagnosis for this prognosis?
Or will I forever be in this state of hypnosis?

I’m neither depressed nor suppressed,
in this cramped compression of distress.
I’m anxious attempting to figure it all out,
stumbling across worn voices begging to shout.
Those explosive beats from poisonous roots,
soften my crumbling knees like rotten fruits.

All I can think is,
“oh please, cut that crap”

battling my demons, before I finally snap.
As my mind bleeds like a demented creep,
I no longer require the desire to speak.
As talk is cheap,
can’t you see all I need is sleep.
To forever restrict my emotions before I weep.
Tired of being a puppet with twisted strings,
I hope these pills can tame my mood swings.

Last night, the doors of dark entrapped me
Capricious sun, perhaps he's napping
Deliberately he comes and goes,
with wily ways, I know so well

Sometimes he stays an hour more,
but then, we know his temper's short,
to leave me here, alone to brood
and sobered to his moods

I batter hard against the night,
until my knuckles bleed
But, cannot summon him to rush
He takes his time, as if a game,
then blushes cheeks, again

This is the wait, caught in between…
the antics of his display
Last evening he made his great departure,
With amber clouds to frame his face
Without a pause, expects applause
to come with early sun

We blink an eye…and watch him leave
with bright red shoes, and a hat of gold
He'll wave goodbye, and sink right in
the curved rim of the world

And when the final curtain draws,
there's a sigh behind the hills
And all is still....

Companioned by the crescent moon,
who, I will welcome in

Mood Swings

Angel
by morning
with spirit high-
though by nightfall I'm a
Demon

MOOD SWINGS
heavens alive
contours scuffed
togetherness lost-
on invisible strings
my lonesome blues

happy or depressed
life is a balancing act
so easy to slip...
moods that fall can rise again
wait for tomorrow's new day

Each dawn's debris sort
of wreckage from day before
yields jetsam just junked
and flotsam break-up relics.
On the beach who can tell which?

Mood Swings

Mania, the unwanted roommate
cantsitstillcantsitstillcantsitstill
You aren't alive enough
GO FEEL ALIVE
JUMP OFF A CLIFF
RUN AROUND NAKED
TAKE YOUR SHIRT OFF IN PUBLIC
SHOPLIFT

it's 4:30 in the morning shut up and go to sleep
NO GO BE ALIVE

This is what my nights are.
Each night consists of too much energy mixed with just a bit too much paranoia
You know you should be sleeping
Or sitting still and taking a test
Or letting somebody else talk
But all you want to do is run around the sky
Flapping your beautiful wings
Showing them off
Running your mouth at a thousand words per mile
Nothing makes sense
Everything is faded
Or crooked
Or mashed up
Like potatoes
Trains of thought leave as soon as they come
Maybe you should hop on a train to shove it, boy

When i'm manic
I can get kind of irritable.
I like your shirt!
SHUT THE HELL UP TIFFANY
Yanno, like that.
Genuine compliments make my skin crawl with fury
Everything makes me loathe my existence

Mania is an unwanted roommate,
Barging in when it is least convenient for you.
They wear every single article of clothing you own,
Eat all of your food,
And sing show toons forté in your ear.
They don't make sense
TAKE THIS
Why what will i use it for?
CHILDREN PERFUME

Mood Swings

Mood swings come running towards me,
Doesn't matter if it is night or early.
Sometimes I feel angry,
Which changes into glee.
Sometimes I feel happy,
Which changes into gloomy.
Sometimes I feel day-dreamy,
Which changes into clumsy.

Is it just a hormones play?
Or is it just another dismay.
I wonder if it is normal or is it just me,
Does it happen to anybody?
Or to the doctor I flee?
In a split of a second I start to feel moody,
So many emotions it's highly messy,
Sometimes I just don't know what to feel truly!

Mood Swings

Your mood
swings from left to right,
jumps up and down
and turns a sexy smile into a frown
each day and each night.

Your mood
attracts and rejects my attention
loves and hates to mention
the blame game
you play in Cupid’s name.

My mood
hides in his hammock
and will emerge
with the urge
to mimic
your gimmick

Mood Swings

Cold days, lonely hours l I didn’t know about
These past few months with my ups and downs
Tracing every beat of my heart
    I am falling deeper
I thought of you waiting for your reply
You paint a smile that never dies
Voice of yours bestows happiness
    I don’t wanna end this

Tell me more about yourself
More you are capable of this cliche’s feelings
In a way I let you have your moodswing in peace
   till you get normal again,
Back to where this emotions began to shift
Slowly, and inevitably bipolar
Crazier to think that your cleverness hits my madness as a poet,
You challenge me in every little way like
    Nature attracts nature;
Words bubble up like soda pop
    You’ll never be boring

I’ll like how our emotions intertwine
Doth sparkles like diamonds over sapphires
Boosting ego’ and posseses thine love
    Speak low if you speak love;
Cupid arrows heart became weak
And this weakness I’d love to feel,
I’m burn for you
    Narrative, elusive begins to change
 Feelings are vulnerably unseen
That’s when heart is pure; love can be made

Mood Swings and Roundabouts

The low pressure depression
has lifted
the momentum is higher
we've weathered the storm.

Mood swings can be like night and day
Either happy or a life in total disarray
Hang in there peeps
Good stuff will creep
And once again you'll be flippin' your toupee

Anxious moods steal that vibrant poise,
Craze delights space with notions wild;
Thrill offers spills to follow choice,
Invite true face to glimpse the child;
Oblige the heart with voice set free,
Niche bits of wit where humour flows.
Tell of deep art that comes to be,
Embrace true grit where honour knows;
Live laughter's lines with sanguine smiles,
Lift poignant pulse of ecstasy;
Spread supple vines as gestures style.
Opt swift impulse of fantasy,
Note mood swings here that alter feel.
Yes days of ease perish with gloom,
Obtain wild things as fancy deals;
Unfurl new peace where flowers bloom.

Mood Swings

A pulsating sea prancing with it's shore
wallowed waters hollering new thoughts
buoyant memoirs seething and submerged
torrents in vortex, of haves and have nots.

wave after wave, rolling and receding
in restless rhythm, crashing on the cliffs,
passions of turbulence in serene harmony
churned by winds, a wilderness of riffs.

seismic aqua rumpus in perpetual roar
a wild wave behind, suddenly disappears
lapping the white sand, sparkles of foam
hiding a pearl in oyster's pain and tears.

Cadence of grief and joy, come and go
soaring and swooping, a calypso sings
What bothers you so, O mighty Ocean?
You drench my soul in your mood swings
