happy or depressed
life is a balancing act
so easy to slip...
moods that fall can rise again
wait for tomorrow's new day

There will always be a positive around the negative. :) I think so anyway. Keep smiling my friend. ~ Brandy

Or even the next day. A positive attitude and patience works wonders! Thanks, Michelle.

I like your haiku. You write all different kinds of poetry. This is great. Which one do you like to write the most?

That’s a great question, Bonnie. The short answer is I like them all :) Before I joined PoetrySoup in April, in addition to longer verse and rhyme poems, I had started to write haiku, which I had really been fond of back in school. After joining PoetrySoup, I was exposed to senryu and tanka too, plus the footle. I like the way that the shorter forms can often convey deep meaning, but also can be light and fun at times. Thanks for asking, Bonnie. Cheers!
