Best Missing Him Poems

Missing Him

As The Rising Sun, The Dawn Came In Softly & Slowly;
&
So Did My Suffering.

Maybe Unexplained Or Unexpected Feelings;
Which Have Been Ignored;
A Sudden Melancholy Skulking In The Silence;
Awaiting The Arrival Of This Day.

The Days Have Regrettably Passed Since We Parted Ways;
About 4 Years Ago, & I Now Wonder If There Was Anything I Could Have Done;
I May Not Have Needed To Spend As Much Time In The Closet;
I Probably Need To Have Paid Closer Attention To How You Felt About Being Anonymous;
Or;
To Anything Else That Would Have Kept You By My Side;
I Am Sorely Missing You Right Now.

My Thoughts Are Hitting Barriers, & My Tears Are Falling Like Waterfalls;
All With Photographs Of You;
Including Your Wild Hairstyles;
Wild Kissing Technique;
All-Gleaming Beard;
Lovely Eyes;
Beautiful Voice;
Undetectable Abs;
&
Silly Smiles.

The Monotonous Music You Listened To In Your Place;
I Can Still Hear Them Playing In My Head From When I Visited;
I Still Occasionally Hear Them In My Brain;
Which Is Shocking, But I Genuinely Miss You & Those Awful Songs.

Losing Her, Missing Him

She promised she'd stay
He promised he'd pray come nights
But, they still fell away.

I'M Missing Him

I ‘m missing him like we miss that lost tooth till the gum heals.
I ‘ve been in the dentist’s chair
Had the anaesthetic but still felt the tug and force.
And the dentist yelled,look at this,
I got it all out in one
You see,the root was very twisted and tangled
I told him,take it away.
I’m missing my other because his absence makes a hole
like that bloody hollow in your jaw but in the soul.
Came home alone from the clinic
Felt that soul hole.The first time
when he was n’ t here.
God does n’ t do anaesthesia, just burns the bush
I’m missing him because he needed me so much
Now nobody needs me nor notices if I am here except Alfred
Or if I fall over in the garden,will I die and rot down to the earth before
my neighbour recalls he’s not seen me for three weeks.Or maybe five.
I miss J the way you’d miss your flesh
if someone shot you with a rifle and made a tunnel through your body;
took out a lump which would hurtle away and fall to earth.
I’m missing his honey smell.
the knowledge,the feeling he had of me.
The hole in my space is almost tangible
in this room.
I wake up and wonder what he’d like to eat today.
But the dead don’t eat at our tables do they?
I remember I am alone at the table and I can eat whatever I like.
Oh,love,why did you go down so fast?
When you were the one,solid I leaned on.
You were my man, you were the one,

Everything Happens For a Reason

Hand in hand, under the trench.
Always sitting, on the same bench.
Class one - till twelfth, he was all mine.
Both of us always on cloud nine!
Mornings in the school and evenings under the sky.
Aww! we were such cutie pies.

Cute and naughty, hot and sporty,
Sleek and tall, perfect bratty.
He was way too chirpy.
Every game, every competition we always had a tie!
Our attitude was just too high!

Teachers spinning around, management on merry go round.
At basketball ground, on jogging rounds, coaching classes and allllll around.
Our fun and tactics held everyone spellbound!
After his farewell, from the school compound.
I started missing his naughty missions that would astound.
Maybe I loved him! Oh, I am surprised!
Hey! Did it stay disguised?

Years passed by,
No tears, no cry!
This confusion remained at back of my mind!
May be emotions always stayed entwined.

A new man in my life.
Today I am known as his wife.
We love each other, we have no strife.
New posting, new house ..we began to thrive!

From my kitchen window,
Just looked down to see around,
A silhouette in the kitchen down below,
Kissed and hugged his wife!
My curiosity to know them was on rise!

Is he the same boy!
If this was destined, why is he married and I am with another guy?

Still handsome! Ah! Still so cool!
Neither he said anything, nor did I ignite the fuel.
Yes, he too remembered the school!

We both happy with our loving spouse.
There was no reason to ditch them or to rouse.
Still his glimpse made me happy, was there any cause?

I know his eyes followed me,
And I often looked for his sight.

Days went by, my baby bump was now clearly showing.
His furious eyes questioning me as if I was betraying!
I still remember that sad look, when I last saw him going!
If so much was billowing,
Why neither he nor I ever tried to confide, while we were growing!

Missing Him

Even if I never let it show
you mean the world to me, just so you know
You've never let me down
you've always been around
You've been there through and through
so for that I will always trust you
I love you just so you know
but its not something to you I wanna show
When i see you there is hurt in my heart
sometimes I feel as if i'll fall apart
So I keep going and i stay strong
because i know that loving you is wrong
Me loving you seems strange
but my feelings refuse to change
When i look back at old memories
i wonder if weren't meant to be
Things will change and we will grow in time
but you'll never stop being mine
I'll love you forever through thick and thin
maybe you'll realize you loved me back then
I don't know maybe you still do
so just know that i still love you too
Its something you may never admit
but holding it in will cause you to lose it
One day you'll realize you ain't gotta be the soldier
who has learned to never blow his composure
You need to be the you i know you can be
it's time you just open your eyes and see
When i would wake and I'd cry
you were there by my side
You'd pick me up when I'd fall
you've been there through it all
you used to keep me standing tall
I can't express in words how i feel
all i can do is hope you know its real
But i wont tell you, it'll stay bottled up
forever in my heart it's just stuck

Missing Him

MISSING  HIM

I thought I heard him call me
imagination, so it seems
I loved to listen to his voice
but now, it’s just in dreams
If he had only asked
I would have followed anywhere
If he had only loved me
but, he didn’t even care

Missing Him

she waits to hear
the sound of his voice
saying, "I'm sorry"

Missing Him

dreams fly by,
as I sit here and cry.
because your not here to hold me,
and you'll never be here to feed me tea,
when i am ill.
And STILL...
i stare at the phone at night.
Cluthing your teddy dog, holding him tight.
As i lie in bed,
feeling restless, like the dead.
I needd your voice in my ear,
or i fear, my dear,
I may DIE.

Missing Him

I missed some one a lot today,
How he always loved to just play,
And just a bit longer, always wanted to stay.

He would always have some sort of joke,
Never saw himself ‘broke’,
And always charming when he spoke.

I missed how, just BEcause, a broad smile, he would always wear,
Confidently displayed it, without a care,
And with everyone, it, always wanting to share.

The most out of Life, he was determined to get,
For anyone to break his spirit, he would never let,
About much, he really wouldn’t fret,
Nor would he ever really seem upset.

I missed how he was always full of joy and carefree,
How he was grounded by climbing a tree,
I miss ‘him’, now more specifically,
Because HE, is a version that exists within ME!
