Love is [true love] not
love that alters [it does] when
it does alteration find.
Rejoinder to William Shakespeare’s Sonnet # 116?
old empty porch swing
neglected flowers dying
someone is missing
I am human..........said computer voice
plywood windows dusty streets faded graffiti
tee shirts
drink mugs
published
nervous wings flicker
mud daubers in mud prints wait
summer trespasser
warm morning blue sky
spring bird singing at window
doctor appointment
from a big family
living to a ripe old age
lots of funerals
she looked familiar
so I smiled and she smiled back
I had a nice day
the older I get----the longer the prayer
Not another limerick verse
I swear it must be a curse
Don't call the poem cop
I give up I'll stop
Because they keep getting worse
She gave from the garden tended with care
He gave his time was little to spare
They gave thanks for all they could share
I don't want to lose my memory
that's where all my friends are
the look in her eyes
she was lost I could see it
she still held my hand
my road trip
three mile long trains
miles and miles of trucks
and a car breakdown
home sweet home
