I Dream of You (To Jew)

What shall I see when I see a picture of you
Frame against rainbow of eternity?
I dream of you ... upon the canvas of my heart ...
Will your eyes melt the sonwflakes, do they
Like the sea glisten with the glow of hidden pearls
Are your ears to be the promegranates of my tongue
And how shall your lips taste to me?
I have dreamt of sweet pineapples, or mangoes
Or some cool sweet thing red with passion
Inflaming the skin
The first otaheite apple of the season.
When you smile, do your lips move like a palm
Slowly yielding to the joy of the wind
And shall dance from sip to sip a hummingbird
Longing to enter the deep throated flower?
I want to see you delicious as happiness
To hold you inthe perfect pear of my heart
Where sunrise lingers long, and night is like a song.
My spirit longs to cuddle you and build my nest
Upon the cushion of your brimming breasts.
O but the night has long, long miles to cross
And spirit glees while flesh counts the distant cost.

Weeping Willow

Weeping Willow

The way your toes curl when you first wake up, yes I have been there to see this.
The way your nose wrinkles as you start to laugh, to this also I have been witness.
You twirl your hair and click your teeth when deep thoughts keep you guessing
And the way your eyes alight with flame when no longer the answers are vexing
Your lips pucker without thought of a kiss when something to you is amusing
About the crazy ideas that I might be having or a book you might be perusing.

I have seen you in the embers of a raging fire, and on the waves that crash upon the shore
I have heard you in the whisper of a windswept leaf as it dances upon the forest floor
I have felt you within a single drop of rain that nature brings to cleanse the earth
I have tasted no greater flavor than this, the nectar garnered from a true loves birth
I have smelled your beauty within the aroma of jasmine, honey, mint and Cinnamon
I have known you from the dawn of time, the cadence of two hearts abridged as one

And when you go to bed at night for some reason my shirts are more comfortable
Than the many things in the past I bought you that your lips told me were unaffordable.
And I have dried the tears that flowed from your eyes when agony came to break your heart
Your brows would furrow as sleep would take you, tomorrow would bring a brand new start
But regardless of this and nonetheless you snuggle in close and at night you shift your pillow
To the cooler side the place that brings solace on the opposite poll of the weeping willow

Premium Member Changeling Prince

The air was filled with sparks so bright
as ash and flick'ring fire abound
The night was filled with fairy light
and from deep down the drumming sound.
And all about did wander round
in forms both large and shimmer small
walked spirits old of yesternight
to lend a charm to each and all.

The sky o'er head was filled with light
and night wore the king’s Northern Crown.
The stars fought with the fire flies flight
as shadows marked the unknown.
A royal night when love was sown,
and bardly singing did enthrall
their poetry did rich resounded
to lend a charm to each and all.

Around the fire stood bold knights
and their ladies most well, unknown,
secrecy was their honor-bright
and amongst them stood the Throne.
Changeling bride brought forth to atone
promises too old to recall,
tonight a fairy wife enthroned
to lend a charm to each and all.

Upon their heads set holly crowns
their scepters of ash, I recall.
Cloaks as light as gossamer shone
to lend a charm to each and all.

Light

(I discovered the poem below in a drawer I was clearing out - it is certainly mine, but I have
no idea when, or why, I wrote it; I have not changed a word of it, but left it as it is)

Don't wait for me
Where the black moment stoops towards the day
I'll be fine, you'll see.
The night is kind, the sweetness of
The breeze, the still greater darkness of all things unseen.
Who needs the morning
The crack of dawn
The break of day
The fast fall of footsteps on shocked concrete
The shrill call of blackbirds
As the bottles topple like skittles, but into place.
No, the night is kind,
Where the serpents stalk in slithers
And unhinged mothers go in
search of their lost children;
Where tree-branches scratch against windows
Without drawing blood.
Where ravens-in-waiting cluster
Around the thought of death.
What need have I for
The last cold grip of
Your lost hand, lost to him,
Against the wrenching light of day?

I loved you once;
Go now, somewhere else another waits.
It is the lesser pain.

Premium Member Summer Night

The night will wait, until we come again
Heaven must know, we need assurance that
Our tomorrow is waiting in the wings
For love such as this,.. is never ending

You must not fear the coming of the moon
The night will wait, until we come again
Evening comes streaming with fading color
A summer day bids us farewell, knowing..

Our tomorrow is waiting in the wings
Lonely be the dark of a thousand eyes
Even the rolling hills will miss our love
The night will wait, until we come again

If fate comes as a comet in the night
Or comes as eclipse of the moon,...do not fear...
Our tomorrow is waiting in the wings
Though summer has gone, as summers must go...

We will climb stairs to summer once again
And I will be yours 'till the end of time
The night will wait, until we come again
Our tomorrow is waiting in the wings...

I'Ll Wait

The night lights glow in the valley ,
The days warmth to keep .
Sinking between the hills ,
Shimmering across the deep .
Below the hills where silver water flows ,
Night calls a million stars as bright .
As the falling white snow
Midnight frosts the evergreens ,
Silver clings to every tip .
Reminding me of the promises ,
That hung on your lips .
I hear a distant baying ,
Beneath the splendid moon .
Where night creatures circle .
The lonely hearts in tune .
Yet for me the night,
Shall never grow late.
Beneath the lovers moon ,
My lonely heart shall wait ..

Barbie Pink

Barbie pink with buxom breast
Spread across a bony chest
Thus recline on bentwood chair
As she unfurls her blended hair
A passer by
A darker night
A fleeting thought
A fairer sight
Marble eyes with curled strong lash
Stare glazed as plastic living naught
Wander him across the street
Breeze on skin this night has brought
A corner turn
A friend to greet
A moment in this life to cheat
Who will occupy that chair when Barbie pink’s no longer there?

The Way I Feel

I wish you were here
My sweet dear
Each minute your with me
I'm happy and glee
I sti by the phone
Each night all alone
Waiting for your call
To ring from the wall
Each time we say goodnight
You hold me so tight
Safe in your arms
Away from all harms
Never let go
Just kiss me like so
But right now I'm alone
And I feel like a clone
I wish you were here
My sweet dear
My sweety I love you
Oh how time flew
Good night my sweet dear

The Day You Went Away..

I searched for you in the Crescent Moon,Was buried in a Night ,without a
gloom.
I searched for You in early dawn, but as Sunrise touched the Sky,Sunset
drowned Her in Moon's lawn.
I searched for You ,Everywhere!Called your name ,You wouldn't hear,My Voice
whistled in the Wind,Echoes ended in a Labyrinth.
I searched and searched to reach your Hands, A tornado trapped me,in its
Whirled sands.
I heard a noise, thought it was You,Were Raindrop tears ,just missing You!
Crystal Rain pattered on roof tops, feeling Sad and Misty blue.
Searched and Searched,Yet ,Could not find You!Called and Called,Yet, could
not reach You!
Ran and Ran,just for one man,Where is my man?Men found many ,but not my
man.

And after thorns crafted my Heart,After my petals scattered apart,
My man came back to me,He came back to me!
But then again,He had to leave...to leave again, far ,far from me!

And Now i live in dreams not lived, and now i live in dreams not told,
My Night is dark,My day is cold ,and I gave Up Of His behold

The Proposal

Twas the night after Christmas Two Thousand Ten
Fulton Street was dazzling, pristine and a glow
An evening we'll remember over and over again
For it was a night as pure as the glistening snow

Christmas music flittered through the air
Bringing us peace, joy and sheer delight
Our hearts beating to the rhythm of a snare
Was that a twinkle I saw, a shimmering light

You led me through the many winding trees
A forest full of garland, angels and reindeer
I felt light and free, as if floating on a breeze
With you by my side, I would never know fear

We stopped at one magnificent, fragrant fir
You pointed to an ornament just within reach
A diamond so stunning it sent everything a blur
It was your gift to me, taking away my speech

My heart danced and soared to heights anew
You knelt down and asked me to be your wife
Without hesitation I said YES to you
Knowing we'll be together into eternal life.

Premium Member In Front of the Fireplace

Huddled in front of the fireplace
Snow blanketing the outside world
Enjoying the smile upon her face
Another memory we will build

Snow blanketing the outside world
The atmosphere providing heat
Another memory we will build
Our honeymoon night we repeat

The atmosphere providing heat
In shadows of the crackling fire
Our honeymoon night we repeat
Never having lost our burning desire

In shadows of the crackling fire
Even after these many years
Never having lost our burning desire
Love making brings new tears

Even after these many years
Enjoying the smile upon her face
Love making brings new tears
Huddled in front of the fireplace

Here, There and Everywhere

It happened on the beach
One afternoon in the sun
It happened in the shower
When the day was done
It happened in the car
Parked in the multistory
It happened on the sofa
Watching Toy Story
It happened on a bench
One night in the park
It happened at the pictures
On the back row in the dark
It happened on an airplane
I’m sure it will again
It happened in a bus shelter
One night in the rain
It happened in a taxi
On the way to waterloo
I got that empty feeling
Because I’m missing you

" Ode To My Love "

Who is this rare gem thus my eyes behold?;
with one quick sweeping glance you cast your love spell upon me.
Like the magestic river Nile your love flows thru me filling the resevoirs of my heart.

Your eyes are like diamonds sparkling ,set in the night sky on a fair night in June.
Your hair is like the finest silk flowing through my hands as I caress you ever so tenderly.
Your lips are like strawberries tender and sweet to the taste;oh how I love them.
Your hands are like velvet cushions soft and soothing to the touch.
Your body is likened to that of a young gazelle running in the forest.
Your smile illuminates the deepest, darkest depths of my soul, ushering in feelings of joy.

Come let us embrace with passion under the moonlight and cast shadows upon the rocks
until the breaking of day.
Some women are fair but you surpass them all. Our love shall go on even after we are both
resting in eternity......my love.

Moments In Time

How it felt... Amazing.
Kisses down my collerbone.
Shivers from my eye lids to my toes.
Each moment I was savoring.
The littles passion marks you left
to be remembered when made your exit.
The way my lips felt against yours.
So much desire, passion, chemistry, and want.
The way you admired me, everybody part
as if I was a magnificent painting.
The lights off, the lights on. It didn't matter.
The things you said, the way you put in end
to my fantasies and brought them to life.
We simply didn't care, bed, floor, unpumped air bed.
Anything would do. That night our hearts collided
even though you said it shouldn't, it couldn't.
Thankfully we landed safely and there was no bloodshed.
We could have gone all night but of course time ran out.
How many times I replayed that image in my mind
I've lost count. Life isn't a game, its simply a mystery to be found out.
And it's these moments in time that are what life are really about...
