Haven

I felt home
In its presence I felt warm & home
With no contact, I feel touched by just staring
Distance meant nothing for if I could see I could feel
Its light made our nights as we lay calm watching the moon's revolves
While mama tells a story of its uniqueness till we fall asleep

My Haven
Ransacking the celestial bodies
None could be a match
The geoid shaped always have my attention
Its an art entailing artist
It was awe inspiring
 @AmazingPen

I felt home
Patience & commitment is a needed mama advice
You can't see what it entails clearly without paying attention
So, we would lay quietly listening to mama stories as it leaves us in amusement
For what we saw was far more than our imaginations; it was a gift
Sometimes it was a woman carrying her child while cooking, other times it was children playing

 *TheWriter'sWriting*

My Haven
Beautiful sunlight
The breeze of clapping seas
 Dancing around in wavy form
Swaying of trees in unison
Never did I know of the sadness its bringing to my feet

While driving on that tedious long road,
he feels forlorn. The road goes on and on.
He hates this job. All hope seems to erode.
The old life he enjoyed is all but gone.

He feels forlorn; the road goes on and on.
At times he meets with traffic jams, a mess!
The old life he enjoyed is all but gone.
He faces thanklessness, fatigue and stress.

At times he meets with traffic jams, a mess!
His life is harder than it’s ever been.
He faces thanklessness, fatigue and stress.
The job he lost he dreams to have again.

His life is harder than it’s ever been.
He hates his job; all hope seems to erode.
The job he lost he dreams to have again
while driving on that tedious long road.

We Are Victims

We are victims
Tied with common fetters
Loosed in thoughts of varied choices and desires
Loosely searching to make ends meet:
The meeting at this spot,
Either to go or stay, is a choice.

We are victims
Of the policies of pain
Emitted to drive us crazy,
We are on the street , though not crazy.
Destroying our common patrimony.
In futility, our sweat squeezed and
Mixed with our hot blood,
Spilled on the street’
The rampage against the policies that police our lives.

We are victims
Caught in the web
Of a cruel nation
Piloted by scoundrels
The apostles of destruction
Who roused our emotions,
Taking the only broken cup
Left for us to scoop
The dirty water in the pond:
The beggar’s choice!
Out of pain, we have heaped mud
To cover the pond.

Yes, we are victims.
Our pain boldly inscribed on our skin
Our thick skin, the archive of servitude .
And every effort to initiate freedom,
The beginning of futility.

We are pushed to the wall,
The dog must bark.
While it barks,
Its kennel is sacred.
Let us not destroy each other, our lots and more.
Let us not engage the street to loot,
Though we remonstrate ,
Let’s not pull down our commonwealth,
The acreages of government,
They belong to us.
We are victims of a beautiful nation stressed with stench politicking.

Lost Hope

On the plight of this garden till when to grieve
Will this nest its glory retrieve

The companion birds have all flown away
O cypress trees and roses! Permit me to leave

-Mohammad Yamin
(Theme borrowed from a Ruba'yee of Josh Malihabadi)

Lost Hope

On the plight of this garden till when to grieve
Will this nest ever its glory retrieve

The companion birds are all flown away
O cyprus trees and roses! Permit me to leave

Lost and Lonely a Message To My Souper Friends

Last year was a hard year with
alot of bumps in the road.I have
             missed all my souper friends.
             Last April my father,uncle,were
             diagnosed with cancer.They are
brothers and they found out on
the same day.I didn't take it well
and got mad and punched a steel
beam.I have paid for it ever since.
My father lost his fight and passed
away July 30,11.I had to have 3
surgeries in august on my hand.It
got a staph infection and was in the
hospital for 2 weeks and a nursing
facility for 48 days on IV antibiotics.
After my dad passed I felt like my
life was no longer worth living.
Now I feel I should end my life.
The date I have chosen is near. I
hope you all do well on your poetry
writing. There are a few people on this
site, you know who you are,I want to
thank you for everything you have
             done to help.
Now I am lost and lonely and ready
for peace.I hope my poetry legend
             will live on.

Truth

Is not the noise that I wanted to shut out
Is not the little things I wanted to erase
Is not how it lacked
Is was never the inability of things
Nor the idea of impossibilities

Is not the walk arounds
Nor the sittings
Nor the tiny faces made
Nor the hidden emotions
Nor the never appointments made

It was a decision of the heart
Maybe a little lack of belief
It was the fear of commitment
Maybe the inclusiveness of loved ones
It was a step on the wrong path

The traditional language of sorrys
Was never invented in your honour
Nor any other emotionally involving language
The hurts of the past has blinded the true eyes of love
Hence the let go prematurely

It is now to walk in regret
And fear of changing the history
Today is a chance
Tomorrow is goodbye

Stop the Violence!- and Let Me Join In

Boom!
Here I am
I'm not letting you guys have the fun
you really think you can keep me out of this?
All right then...it's my turn! and I'm burning this to the ground!

Listen
you may be forgiven
but not for long my love
Fight me
or invite me
to this love that never belonged
you've been slammed my friend
I hope you don't forget
all the horrible things I did
I broke your heart
and my excuses can't stop
me from telling the truth
'cause I never loved you
it was all a lie
the saytr inside
was the reason for you
at first it was hard to say it
but after a while I lied to myself
I said I love you
but inside I knew
it wasn't you
harsh? yes I know
I'm sick of your demons
and the stupid things you believe
Lilith is not even the Devils girl
so stop the lies
'cause inside
you and I
should have never been
Girl, I lost my greatest friend
and you reminded me so much of her
and I knew I lost her...so I pretended I loved you
But now I'm back and with Her now
and I tell you It's better than what we had
Oh, and the better thing
that we never had is LOVE
so I say goodbye
for the last time
I'm the angel not the demon
I'm the great
I'm the fate
I'm the poet
For I am
a great man
I hope that you burn in your lies
I hope you relize
the world your in
is a LIE
And it will die
you will cry
and for once It'll
be so mean
so you've been slammed
oh violently slammed
in my hands!

The Lost Hope

Flying from out of the eerie world of spirits
The Sphinx has come to crouch and pose :
'To close Pandora's Box solve the puzzle of Greed !'
Trust  not  Luck , nor  Fate  but  work  with  wits ;
The fire of greed and desire plays havoc ,
Crippling the ability to seek content even in bits
And  wipe   out   the  artefact  of  divine   replica ;
"Abracadabra " ,here  is  the  only  panacea  that  befits ;
Will Oedipus or Jason rescue the race , comatose
' Solve the puzzle of Greed to close Pandora's Box ! '
And find the new glow of hope that emits .

I Walk the Way

A snail's pace and diminished grace,
seeking escape from their embrace,
down with lost respect,
your foray,
keep me at bay,
erase dismay,
before I turn gray,
I hope for a better day,
I walk the way

You say I may have lost it finally,
say I am disturbed unusually,
does it scare you to see,
your warnings and ideas I disagree,
say I need to let free,
is it my nature to stand like a tree?
When You cut my branches and flee,
your ignorance and fray,
your cocaine my dismay,
coat me all you may,
before I turn gray,
I hope for a better day,
I walk the way

Upsets you that I don't follow,
take your beating and feel hollow,
why don't i belong?
To your valleys of poison and tag along,
can't miss my bus half-long,
haven't I waited too long?
Your virtues and display,
of your vices go astray,
I no more pay,
to your lust for foray,
your direction a cliche`,
mock me all you may,
before I turn gray,
I hope for a better day,
I walk the way

Do you cry,
when I defy?
Your limitations and prey,
on your brilliance you say,
cloud me all you may,
like a star I shine from far away,
blind me with your way,
like a tornado I blow you away,
ignore me you say?,
like the tides I wash you away,
ice me all you may,
like a volcano I will melt your bones away,
boot me all you may,
before I turn gray,
I hope for a better day,
I walk the way

What rising doubt does cast such fear
That wills I dare not sink to feel,
But take to heights above harms reach
From that first step to tempt my fate.
I cling to pain, this bond so real, that knows,
This is my next best chance to fail.

Lost Hope

Lost in thought, deep in despair
 Knowing loneliness has no bound
Eager to speak, quick to share
Ready to fool and to confound

Time moves memory remains still
Thoughts linger of what could be
Pain of lost hope does not heal
Nor can any faith part the sea

Love gives hope a new resting place
Questions of what will come to pass
Reason fights looking for any trace
Longing grows like the blades of grass

In the darkest hour, filled with solitude
Where can one be found in the multitude

I Look For the Words To Say

I know you don’t fully understand the words I say
Complication has always helped me hide meaning
Give me time, understanding will come in its day

Thoughts of you, are always in my mind streaming
I’ve gotten lost on a long road that leads nowhere
Complication has always helped me hide meaning

For a chance to look into your eyes, just one stare
I have been broken for some time, in this abyss
I’ve gotten lost on a long road that leads nowhere

Your presence is something that I crave and miss
I never comprehend how it is that I get far away
I have been broken for some time, in this abyss

The saying goes, where there’s a will there’s a way
My will almost destroyed, not much hope inside me
I never comprehend how it is that I can get far away

In a darkness, my soul lives, wondering what wil be
Many things I want to express, but can’t seem to say
My will almost destroyed, not much hope inside me
Give me time, the understanding will come in its day

So Many Men Who Take

So many men who take
And in doing so cause damage and Heart break
To women who must put the pieces back together
They rise up from the pain
They start looking once again
In the stormy weather
For this beautiful thing called love
They rise above
The pain
With new hope again

Only to meet the same or worse calibre as before
Not realizing the drama that's in store
Men want their needs to be met
So they will pressure for it until they get
A woman's chastity. They...
Spend a little but expect a lot in return. They
Keep women as back ups for when they get burned

Her parents never told her about the nature of men
And how to be smart in dealing with them
How to be assertive and when to walk away
And how to attract only the right one to stay

So after all that happened why did she stay?
When this was clearly not the only way?
She lost all hope and was tired of looking
They all cause pain
The efforts of looking once more will all be in vain
The routine of hurt will remain the same
What she seeks does not exist
Therefore it was futile to persist
