Best Lose Your Mind Poems
I saw a tree crying in the rain
A woman hurting with no pain
The wind blowing but I couldn't
prove it
The earth spinning but I could
not move it
The song itself could not sing
The thought it travelled with no
wings
The words alone could not
speak
The gauge could measure but
could not heat
The ocean roared but could not
rain
The valley moves not yet isn't
lame, and a deck of cards can't
play a game
A knife can cut but can't taste
the meat
And a drum can never hear a
beat
yet a broken heart can keep on
beating
Fall leafs can fall without
leaving
But can you cry without your
tears?
Can time go by and not make
years?
Can you lose your mind and
still be sane?
Can she hurt . . . and not feel
pain?
And a tree can't cry in pouring
rain
But looks can be deceiving and
memories can fail
Perhaps it was the woman
crying in the rain, and the tree
that could not feel
For who's to say what's really
real?
At times I've filled in a 200 page pad in a day
Yet I still had more to say
I've always liked rhyming I just find it fun
My mind is always thinking so there isn't a time when my rhymes are done
Even when I'm writing simple rhymes
You'd lose your mind by some of the things my pencil finds
I like being lyrical so sometimes I'm Bending words
I won't always rhyme with the ending word
You couldn't keep count of the pieces of paper that my pen gets through
I make a beautiful story out of the ugliness that men step through
Sometimes I like to switch it up and use rhymes that are multi syllable
I've still not yet gone fully lyrical
I grew up listening to the thoughts of Nas and the rhymes of Rakim
So you can't compete with the lines I'm jotting
Blasting Wu Tang and Big Pun to sound out the screams and sadness
Constantly trying to come up with new ideas, rhyme schemes and patterns
Loving Hip-Hop got me to start writing double rhymes
I picked up a pen and rhyming saved my troubled mind
I've always liked rhyming I just find it fun
Time to start my next poem so my rhymes aren't done
At the top of the mountain, is a beautiful fountain
You can see beauty for miles, brings forth actual smiles
As far as the eye can see, many a mountain and tree
The water so clear and cold, turns the young from old
So the legend has been told, somewhere there is a city of gold
With so much treasure, impossible to measure
An unfindable find, with pursuit you could lose your mind
Or could it be found, rewards abound
The real treasure is inside you, that my friend is the first clue
You must look deep within, that's how you begin
Try to see how others see, move towards how you really want to be
It's not easy at all, but you have the ball
Go ahead wait till tomorrow, bet on sorrow
That's not a guarantee, but wait and see
Don't believe me, your thoughts are free
Just trying to lend a hand, nowhere near a demand
Well I guess I'm done, have fun
Silky smooth with taste sublime,
a creamy dream, you’ll lose your mind.
As twilight comes, her beauty shines...
This brew is sure to satisfy.
It quenches all of man’s desires,
fierce thirst induced by inner fires,
spent bodies aching to conspire
with all that leads them ever higher.
A dream, yet such a simple notion;
one sip, gears primed are set in motion
transporting bliss, fervent emotion;
nature’s elixir ~ love’s finest potion.

At the door to my trembling heart He cried:
‘Go in search of the lost souls one can find,
and you are charged to forever abide
by the tenet of Love for all Mankind.’
To obey was not easy, but I tried;
lesson as precious as a golden hind.
Navigating the seas from the blind side,
no one wished to come willingly and whined.
But as the world’s troubles tested one’s pride,
it’s understandable to lose your mind.
This was not the time to let morals slide,
or forget the agreements in blood signed.
‘Greatest blessings come to us through madness
when it is sent as a gift of the gods.’*
I remember when you were young
You and I had so much fun
You were funny you were kind
I never thought you'd lose your mind
But now I've seen you fade away
The shell of a man you are today
It started whith your memory lost
We knew that you would pay the cost
You forgot your own wife's name
Though you knew you loved her just the same
The doctors gave you the sad news
Everything you were you'd lose
Although you're not the friend I knew
I will still stand by you
I'll try to give you some support
I know you tried I know you fought
This awful disease has robbed your wife
Of the husband she swore to have for life
It's robbed your children of their dad
And robbed me of the friend I had
And you're just one and that's a fact
There are many who will not come back
This terrible disease must be ended
Though the broken lives will not be mended
And I pray they'll find a way
To stop dementia one day
And then this scurge will lose its power
And we will celebrate the very hour
Before the darkside of my fathers drinking began to loom in the corners of my life I remember being lifted onto a barstool at his favorite watering hole in Elmira N.Y. Suddenly a crowd of people had gathered around us Then without warning a woman behind the bar handed me a blond Labradore puppy My father cought the puppy and me in mind air as we fell backwards The entire crowd roared with laughter and that was one of the best days of my life Sometimes you forget memories like that when things get bad And the people you love begin to let you down one time to ofton Years later I Learned the woman in the bar and my father were more than friends And my mothers crazy out bursts were not so crazy after all Still you have to forgive or lose your mind asking yourself why Because most people will tell you"If I knew why I did it I probably wouldn't have done it I know it's little concliation but untile we move into a realm of perfection We need to save ourselves by forgiving everyone else

I was playing with my favourite toy
One night as I lay in bed
Grandpa caught me and called me a naughty boy
and this is what he said .
Darren ,I don't mean to be unkind
if you don't stop. You'll go deaf and blind
then You're gonna stop growing
and you'll lose your mind .
Sorry grandpa , I must have misunderstood
I thought it was you who said I should
You said everything in moderation does us good
That's why I've been pulling my pud .
I confess mistakes have been made
I now wear jam jar bottom glasses
and a real strong hearing aid.
Breathe...
Breathe...
Breathe...
Breathe...
I cannot see
What could this be?
I cannot think
Where will this journey take me?
What will it make me?
Deep inside us all
There is a hell
Where we are caged,
imprisoned, trapped,
inside our own minds shell
Experience life
six feet beneath
U never know if you will ever leave
Inside a void where dimensions interact
Here is no such thing as fact
Lose your heart
Lose your mind
Every little thing, gets left behind
Experience yourself
Your deepest being
Every act based on hatred,
and selfish greed
U will suffer
U will try
U will grab everything you cannot
to stop yourself from dying
and when you oneday forgive yourself,
will u hear the angels flying
In this place,
No thing can be
You have left life
You are now free
This is DMT
I turned up the volume and was punched in the face.
A karate chop to the back of my neck put me in my place.
The words that I was hearing contained a pearl of wisdom.
The jam in which I entered was like a head on collision.
There's nothing like the feeling of being thrown thru the air.
I needed to get unhinged and I didn't really care.
You can take your safety plans and shove them up behind.
The noise I want to hear is meant to make you lose your mind.
These boys are wired from a different set of schemes.
The only sounds you'll want to make are electrified screams.
Hearing them from the box isn't the same as in the flesh.
I'd travel the world over even as far as Bangladesh.
There's nothing like it when Ed is telling one of his stories.
The words he pieces together comes straight from the laboratories.
I love to watch the gang blast away on their weapons.
Put it all together and it's noise straight from the heavens.
You can take your safety plans and shove them up behind.
The noise I want to hear is meant to make you lose your mind.
These boys are wired from a different set of schemes.
The only sounds you'll want to make are electrified screams.

Is your name written in the Lamb's Book of Life?
And do you possess the Golden Key unlocking everlasting life?
Have your sins been washed white as snow by the Blood of the Lamb?
Have you instead decided you want to perish in your sins?
Will you been satisfied to have Jesus Christ pay your sins debt in full?
By accepting his free pardoning gift of everlasting life?
Have you made your final decision to accept Jesus Christ
as both Lord and Savior of your life?
When the roll call is made up yonder will your name be written there? Will you decide to lose your mind and your everlasting destiny by being left behind? Have you decided to remain spiritually blind? The Lamb's Book of Life is your everlasting security. You are unable to buy the stairway to heaven by perishable silver and gold. There money is worthless when it comes to your everlasting soul's security. When Jesus Christ has already paid the ultimate price, by sacrificing his precious blood on Calvary's tree.
The everlasting price for your soul's destinies have all ready been paid in full. By grace you have been saved, not by works least any man (or woman) should boast. Good deeds and honorable deeds will not earn you admittance into the heavenly portals. God the Father gave you his most precious gift, his only begotten Son Jesus Christ!
Why not make certain your name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life? Do not wait until tomorrow, "It is appointed unto man (and woman) once to die and after that the judgement." You may not have another opportunity to ensure the safety of your eternal destiny!
Love in Christ Jesus!

Who will be there for you when you cry? Who will be there
for you when you get lonely? Will you die?
The ground falls beneath you, the sky falls upon you,
nature rumbles uncontrollably, will you die?
You get scared and lose your mind you become numb
to all the blind, can’t see time when it goes by, will you die?
The world is dark no pretty lights, walks until it shines
it’s a long distance, will you die?
Open mouth closed mind, speaks shiberish
words as sweet as Liquorice, nobody listen will you die?
Me and two old men
one black the other white
sitting on the front porch
along with Jesus
dippin and sippin wine
contemplating the seeds sewn
with Peter, James and John
and the coming day we'll see the great white throne...
Once there they will tell
the Good Lord all they troubles
when they get to kingdom come
all they lives
they walked a hundred miles of bad road
the world no friend to them
their day will come
after all God delivered Daniel
and Jonah knew how to swim...
One looked at the other and said
I told my woman last night
I was about to sleep so good
darling share those covers
with me if you could
You know I'm approaching sixty-nine
that's a long jumpy time
to be a rollin and not lose your mind...
Another eccentric façade flows decadence
Beside yourself with a quaint mockery
Counting blessings you sought after a hummingbird life
Do the scars that you cherish set you free?
Escaping your feeble yet cynical pestilence
For my exuberance is tainted by thee
Go drink from the lake and drown your horses with shame
Hallowed by harlots they're cursing your name
Insanity sane insane sanity
Justified in lost memory
knock down the wall
Lose your mind and go soar
Many years waiting to wait many more
No one will speak your name
Once you are showered in shame
Please know I have lost a dear friend
Queensberry rules or a fight to the end
Roam the depths of mind
Share with me what you find
Time is no fortress
Undo all the lies
Versatility does not make you kinder my life
Why don't you twist the blade in my back from your knife
X-rays for my cancerous self
You have dissuaded with presence and stealth
Zeal for you is an expression of hate.
