Premium Member Stormy Weather
Seaweed, fragmented shell as cannonballs
in maelstrom hurled upon the shore.
The bellowing wind cast all asunder
as Summer’s shoots from shifting sand were torn.
Such was Autumn’s storm.

The sleet was blown in horizontal sheets
as figures double-bent fought step by step
to make but little progress, homeward bound.
The sky...

Premium Member The Mind Lock
I’m locked inside a place so very small
I do not fit inside it physically.
And yet it somehow is consuming me.
At times, I feel I can’t break loose at all!

My arms and legs were not bound up by rope.
I’m not behind some door with heavy chain.
In...

The Interlude of Aphradere: Iridescent Turbulence
God, I am overwhelmed within me,
But you are merciful everlastingly
You release your sincere spirit of shameless serenity
And you wash me thoroughly with it wholeheartedly,
For I've been lost for many a year
I must grin in gladness ear to ear
Fill my bathtub with cheer,
Oh waters of Aphradere

I...

I Can'T Just Change Overnight Part 2
I am appalled by the acts of atrocity in this world of eccentricity
How can you handle the rebellious transgressions of all children, women and men?
I want to serve You, master, with all I got…
I don’t want to remain the disaster that left me to...

Phoneless Temporarily
In the past, I was phoneless
I showed my dissatisfaction and sadness
Just by my facial expressions and foolish actions
Thank you, oh Lord of Accord, for an iPhone –
Now, it’s fulfilling my satisfactions…
I was on my own, but not alone
Life’s a wild, wild roller coaster…
I got...

Red Paper Poppy - For Veterans/ Remembrance Day 11th November
Red paper poppy
Emblem of the fallen
Symbol of the fields wherein they lay

Made by those returning
From their living hell
With broken bodies and shattered minds

Colour of their comrades’ blood
Worn by the ever grateful
Determined that “ Lest we forget”
The memory of their sacrifice should ever fade

The poppy, living...

Waves of Emotions - Swim In Serenity's Safe and Sound Significance
I'm smart when I'm in my shell of solitude
Waiting till you're gone
So I can wear this attitude of gratitude
Bug off, bad attitude
I don't mean to act so rude
I feel ashamed and nude
The day is finally done

Thank the Lord of Accord
Screw you, satanic discord
Thank you,...

There Is Relief To Your Grief
I lost my train of thought
I'll give it my best shot,
Giving it the strength I got

These tears and frivolous fears
I've fought for a thousand years

I've dreamt these frightening nightmares
I've shattered many mirrors with splinters
Just to get to you
Cuz I need to
And I want to

And I...

The Poor and Puffed Up Pockets
Global girth seems to gain all the time,
Giants garnering world's every dime,
The rich grab all the pie--
Why the poor poorer die
In the world, piling wealth's when no crime.

Fine, lemon you find sweet is sweat lime,
Nor crime-- your thoughts of ‘I’,
Go savour your sweet pie,
Pay heed...

I Am Still Alive
I can't breathe normal,
Fighting for survival.
Fail to speak a word,
Although trying so hard.
Let me leave this place,
Heal my scar and its trace.
I don't want to survive,
But I am still alive.
My luck has gone upside down,
I...

Explanation - But Lisa Ricci Said Don'T Long Ago
I
The scripture I read
Rebukes lust and greed
My Lord will forgive
Change how we live
Love God, love people:
Not pastor, church, steeple

II
I have Hindu family
They offer their homily
On forgiveness too often
Basics of love, shun
So, I write poetry
To add to missionary
Tools, a biblical education
God offers ALL SALVATION

Young Heart
From my youth,
I knew no goodness
Teach me His truth
So that I will meet success

I hope I'm making little progress

From my youth,
I knew very little at first
Teach me Your truth
Or I'll remain in thirst

I thirst for His spirit - to renew my faithfulness

I have...

Nearing My End - We Hit a Dead End
Give me an excuse or a reason…I’m going through this depression, making
little progress
To overcome these waves of emotions…and I tried with all of my might to be so
bold
Friends come and go like season to season…I’m going through the grieving
process
Getting a hold of...

held hostage
Heartfelt honesty is what I need from you
Feeling held hostage in my own home too
It’s untrue what you say — I’m so-called genuine
Thanks for your kindness today, but where have you been?

I exist for a purpose…
I still feel hopeless…
I’m making little progress
I feel rather...

Premium Member How Many Phases
Confronted with this year's grim virus scare
our spring was lost to common joys we share-
new hope with summer rays?

But summer came, and much remained the same;
death numbers down, but normal, cannot claim-
perhaps by autumn's blaze?

Now heading there- though, little progress made;
most schools and other start-backs,...
