Premium Member Thanks Katherine Stella

Katherine Stella likes to play
And gives GODS HEAVENLY ANGEL
CHOCOLATE COVERED KISSES each day.

Off she goes to CRIPPLE CREEK to ESCAPE
And enjoy some COUNTRY BLISS
While she tries to get over THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS

WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING
She served a TATER TOT HOT DISH
Over by THAT OLD WOODEN FENCE

The FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND
Were MY LITTLE GUMMY BEAR
With BOMBS BURSTING IN THE AIR

GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE
I tagged Lynn Marie
Late last night WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING

Thanks Katherine Stella
Now I can say
Lynn Marie you've been tagged today.

Thanks Katherine for the loan of your poem titles.

Katherine Moore Haiku

Katherine Moore Haiku

what happened to us
we may never know when or why
or how to translate

so what should we do
to relieve all of our pain
and suffer no more

seems so pure and plain
our answer just did appear
we wish you were here

when you leave again
better be sure to prepare
us so can survive

Premium Member My Katherine My Spencer

A conversation between Katherine Hepburn
              and Spencer Tracy

My Katherine My Spencer

Oh, my Spencer, you're much shorter than I
I know, my Katherine, but for you I’d die
Would you really, how that does please
Oh my Katherine, you are such a tease

You are the queen of the cutting remark
Yes my Spencer, you’ll jump when I bark
Oh my Katherine, please purr like a cat
Spencer, you know, I don’t do things like that

Your such a tough guy with heart so soft
And you're so engaging yet stay so aloft
My Katherine, what’s with, this haughtiness
To keep you at bay, with your naughtiness

My Spencer, it’s just, the way I am made
My Katherine, no way, will you persuade
This soft heart of mine, to leave you alone
Spencer, you know, that I’m made of stone

You’re up on the screen, all elegant, cold
But Katherine to me you’re a sight to behold
So true, my Spencer, but I’ve seen enough
In your best suit, you still look a scruff

My Katherine I wonder in our film career
Which one do think, our fans most endear
My Spencer, of that, there’s one thing I’m sure
You can count yourself lucky I think it’s a draw

We’ve been so successful, both you and I
Yes, my Spencer, could want for no more
Except I was more so, which you can’t deny
They gave you two Oscars but I received four

Oh, my Katherine, I love you so
Maybe Spencer, but no-one must know
We’ll leave this Earth, one day it seems
And make reality our hopes and dreams

For Katherine Jenkins

My soul was ruptured by crystal soprano
As I walk from door to door
Try to outpace my welling tears

Noble silver - perfect jewel
Reduce a man to burning fuel
Untill I spellbound dont exist

Your voice a bell , my disbelief
That could summon men to wander off
To dwell in wanton pergatory

and kneel in wonder of a eucharist
A radiant flame of holiness - an arum lily
The palor of thy countenance

Taste of Russian Ural honey
Lift me to the stratosphere
Never was heard a sweeter sound

I was born for hearing this
Surpassing every ounce of elegance
Surrender meekly to thy song of godliness

Katherine Jenkins

Her voice reaches a higher plain
It quivers through my evey vain
Picks me up when i am low
Just a poem to let you know

When you sung Nessum Dorma
It brought a smile to my face
When you sung amour et let u
you were bathed in the light of grace

So pretty so sweet
With a voice so strong and true
On that night in bastion
I fell in love with you

We were blessed that you sung for us
Even though you didnt have too
Thank you from all the soldiers
And a personal thanks from me too you

She has a voice of the angels
She has a heart that touches my soul
She may seem heavenly to you
In solitude, she paints visions of beauty

She falls to the ground
A wounded angel
We weep together in the rain
She is the wind of my hopes

Her words, so soft, bring stories to life,
Rainbows of my desires
She caresses my being
Her voice beats as my heart

We dance as one
We sing at two
We take tea at three
Rum tumbles in at four

We stumble to the floor
In Laughter, oh I adore
She has become my other
There is no more

Kiss me sweet
Of all the angels
She is my treat

She is!

Kiss of Katherine

Just like lines of spiderweb
It's so tender, implicated,
Kiss of Katherine is like jab
Her eyes tempt. All's complicated.
And she makes on heart her mark
Blood ferments in veins. Excitement!
There's no time for our luck
Moment's gone and she is silent.

She is hiding in the mist
Crying Kate's in hardest breathing
Kiss has slid on red lips
She's in dreaming. Dreams are seizing.
She has notion to repeat
Our kiss so soon in practice
Strong and sensitive! We need
Careless kiss as kiss of justice.
To create for us delight
Feel it through the lips in glory
For embrace for wanted sight
Just for little moment. Sorry!

Katherine the Great

Katherine the Great
Was fashionably late
In the parlor were chairs to recline

Each year she got greater
So of course she got later
And now all her “good friends” decline

Katherine Jenkins

In angelic voice, enthral, rejoice

Of peace be s-t-i-l-l, for one fine day

A garden of dreams, over the rainbow, a daydream behold

In a graceful realm, of grace to amaze, a dawn of promising rays

Blissful skies, sunlight arise, a peaceful picture

Soul silhouette, lest we forget, royal remembrance

Together we stand, to thee, across the land

A musical language, all-embracing, casted carousel

Performance premier, shining sensational, inspirational

Hail – music of the night, dance with the stars

Tap and glide, a guiding star, something in the way……….

Just as you are

Journeying jewel, revel, jubilee

A walk through autumn leaves, in timeless reverie

Sounding soprano, crowds resonate, of joyfulness elate

Gracefulness of elegance, a time of prime

A gift given, of noble distinction

A symphony of sophistication

Due adulation, due applause, with charitable cause

Exceptional tours, over a great and mighty distance

Of services rendered, a splendour of release

Flowering duet, a radiant bloom, of times unknowing

We’ll meet again – soon

An Afternoon With Katherine

She said that this man, my grandfather,
held her head under the black pool water,
while up above, a German man leaned
out of his window, against the moss and brick
to scream violently: "Don't hurt that woman!
She is the most beautiful woman in the world!"
The tone of the man's voice, authoritative, cold
broke my grandfather's concentration and he
let her bob up to the surface, coughing, sputtering
in an almost drowned manner, while still maintaining a beauty uncommon to humans, as she stole a quick glance
to the heavens of heavens to acknowledge the saving
power of a stranger.
This is her story today, as she sits on three moth-eaten,
velvet pillows to make her tall enough to reach the kitchen table.
She has shrunk in her old age and is no longer "the most beautiful woman
in the world".
She sips her black coffee out of Russian demitasse cups with diamond emblems
until she reaches the grinds which have slept in warmth on the bottom,
to fool her, she thinks.
She nibbles her white toast with butter and honey and shivers in the air conditioning as royalty should.
When she has filled the remaining ten percent of her stomach (the other ninety percent was removed from the worry
of ulcers when technology was in it's infant stage), she continues her story.
It lasts all afternoon and twists and winds around the basic sub-plot that, somehow, her beauty and dignity was
acknowledged in the worst circumstances, and, with her infinite wisdom, the world was made a better place.
Her voice soaks into the wooden cabinets, and will remind me forever of strong, fresh-brewed coffee, and I think,
right at that moment as I look at my hands (which I know will resemble hers one day), that I miss my grandfather.
The most gentle man in the world, whose thoughts never amounted to more than wanting to garden well, or shape
the perfect pizza in his pizza shop.
This man, who set chairs on tables to clear the floor before he danced in pure Zorba the Greek manner, with a glint in
his innocent eyes.
This man, who looked at this woman, this fabricating, self-absorbed, once beautiful woman, with an adoration never
deserved.
I clean up the dishes, while still listening, and kiss her good bye on her forehead.
Jittery from stories caffeinated and old, I chose to walk the long way home, lightening my mood and shedding her
words along the way.

You Nor I

You nor I

Neither You nor I will live to see these wonderful times

When the world will live without any crimes

Neither you nor I will live to hear the victory cries

Of freedom before one of us dies

Neither you nor I will live to feel the keys to our chains

Before we reveal the world our pains

Neither you nor I will live to smell the air of our land

When we all march southward hand in hand

Neither you nor I will live to taste the cold bitter tears

Of those who mourned our pains and or fears

Lost Songs of Grandma Katherine

Songs belted out in a moment of sadness
while the sun stains the clouds in her colors chameleon
Facing the sea as the ashes kiss sand
letting the wind pull the songs off the land
Grieving continues that year in the open
Laughter seeps into the melody mourning
Tales from her youth in Crimea's rich forest
cast from our lips in the manner she taught us
The time she was starving and ate poison berries
then jumped down into tree limbs, waiting and merry
Unconscious and limp in the bed of a stream
That Turkish man came in a wood scented dream
A gypsy by nature, a friend of her fathers,
brought her back home to the village of his brothers.
Or what of the time, on a frozen park bench
she met the great Rachmaninov eating his lunch
He pulled out a chocolate from his wool, jacket pocket
and spoke of her beauty, like a good Russian mandate.

When did the songs stop for her in her life?

Was it when she was singing of a girl selling wares
and her father took his pitch fork with a furious glare
and pinned her, as he yelled without kindness hindsight
for the song was a tale of a woman of the night?

Or was it the war, the infamous war?

Not with cruel Hitler, but the war of Great Katherine.
The woman who held all her emotions within.
From the moment the sheep closed his eyes in her arms
She stoically built up her walls with alarms.
She refused to love any, for leave her they would
and she dug her feet into the earth where she stood
My grandfather smiled attempting to soften
the cold, vile stare which she shot him so often
and I in my youth thought that I would discover
this woman had love for me, like my own mother.
But, as her ashes joined the sea
she took with her, her chance to be
a wife, a mother, loving grand
and left her songs in her own homeland.
I wish to one day laugh with her
and sing aloud in mirth with her
I wish for her innocence to be restored
and one day to be, by her, adored.

Dear Katherine

Kiss me on my last breath,
After that let me lurk to death ,
The times when the stars start speaking,
Hollow hearts don't know what they are seeking
Eventually the love runs dry,
River of truth turns into a lie,
In all this cruelty , living is tough,
No, id rather die than to live a life of bluff,
Empty be my body not my love.
