Pumpkin Patch Shenanigans
Puff white cotton candy, royal blue sky
Autumns breathe over a breadth of meadow lie
Tillage field vines pumpkins that catch a bird’s-eye
Grandpa and black bird grand-kids are back in a flyby
Causing havoc with their big pumpkin patch shenanigans
Fearless Scarecrow having an epic heyday and merry-go-round in the congregation
Stands terrifying and saying goodbye to all that flyby in jubilations

Sleep deprivation and anxious repetition,
Doubt implantation and stress intoxication,
Coffee-painted teeth and shaking fingers to the brim --
Throttled displeasure between her and him
I don't trust myself with the door closed
Don't depend on the music to make me composed
I don't ask for help from the nightingale;
My soul nor my heart are up for the Devil's sale
Pen ink running low and late nights sold to paper,
Heartbreak on top of food that's lost all of its flavor,
Forgetting how to laugh and rejecting invitations,
Planning for the end day when we can start the jubilations.
Nine AM sharp, the clock hands making a rattle --
Flash cards and no breakfast: now into battle
Oh dear, oh dear!
Smile, and see the world outside
Open your door and come to this side
Live and play with the jubilations you desrve
Don't cry! Laugh, smile and live the life with the world outside.
Oh dear, oh dear!
Cheer, and feel the brightness of the day
Wake up from your gloominess and absorb the ray
Bask and savor with the gleam you pour
Don't hide! Seek, reach and meet the life with the cosmos everyday.
Oh dear, oh dear!
Stand, and dance on the athirst field of the awaited monsoon
Spill over with the rainbow from your misted essence
Dance and drench with the mizzly ambiance
Don't Slip! Toe, walk and run - the life with all self-reliance.
Oh dear, oh dear!
Speak, and scream from the top of the mountain
Listen to your own voice and let go the frosted pain
Fly and swing with your colourful amity feathers
Don't cease! Roam, wonder and prosper the life with your own reveries.
Oh dear, oh dear!
Sing, and choir along with the twittering birds cuddling
Theme with the nature so scenic and let blossom your awaited moments
Verse and rime with the melody you charm
Don't faint! Listen, fancy and dream the life with your utmost pride.
Oh dear, oh dear!
Smile, cheer, stand ,speak and sing
See, feel, dance, scream and choir
Live and play, bask and savor, dance and drench, fly and swing, verse and rime
With the world outside...
Open your door - we are calling you and play your eternal life.
Thrown out like yesterday's debris,
Broken backwards and upside down,
You left me out to watch me suffer,
No longer wanting me around.
Yesterday's plans turned to today's remorse,
And old photo's remind me so clear,
I'll never forgive you for your choice,
To no longer want me near.
Forsaken and forgotten, new until old,
Please invite me back for dinner,
Uphold my regret and fill me up,
I already admitted that I am a sinner.
Underneath the stairs that creak so creepy,
While on top of your unwanted list,
You realized that I'm not very healthy,
Leaving our plot with an unwanted twist.
How does it feel to never being wanted?
How do I explain my desire to be lethal?
Guess word spreads and turn into lies,
What happened to us being equals?
Compared me to flowers but came up with rubble,
Unaware of my beauty within my psyche,
Broken and lost, left and alone,
Your internal light has always been my lightening.
You say that I am undesirable in reality of dreams,
I'm unloved and unwelcome your eyes do express,
What happen to all the sweet retentiveness we had,
As I lay unloading all my regret and feeling depressed.
I'm no longer needed for your fulfillment of romance,
I'm taken aback by your disagreeing mistrust,
You used to need me for tenderly touches,
Our love turned into a conduit of lies and lust.
Many years we had us and many to come we don't,
Upcoming jubilations with out you I'll be haunted,
You'll never actually feel the undesired experience,
Of feeling an undeniable force to be isolated and unwanted.

Beyond speech
Before the words
Even leave your lips
Thinking about thinking
Looking at your thoughts
I see the building blocks
Of your breaking down
It's noisy sound image
An abstract tree growing concepts
In a forest needing life
* Simeon wages its demise
Beyond the tip of your tongue
After supper, when the words
Have left your mouth
All your childhood questions
Still unanswered
It's branches are torn apart
Your tree positioned
Without arches pays a fee
To this living organism
For it's inorganic accretions
*Simeon wages it's demise
Beyond the after thought
Your prose has brought about
There's no going back
Past the Temple's entrance
No chugalugging in reverse
Like dead dogs guarding
White noise on a mountain
Jubilations and alleluias are
Revelations so gloriously bright
They hurt the eyes
*Simeon wages its demise
Beyond the pandemonium
Of your chitchat usage
On the far right of a good way off
Your thirty tongues
Those serpentine monsters
Are tangled in green homilies
No more conversations needed
Not listening but watching
Your gold watch a-tick tock ticking
It's running against time all-embracing
*Simeon wages its demise
Unsanctioned quiet
Never looks back
Too much said
Is always too late.
There are many words for frost
This is the house your words built
You might have lost your tongue altogether
Like blind passion without a mission
Not even your homing pigeon can
Any longer hear you out.
*Simeon wages its demise
Like an epic battle of warriors in the ancient times,
rhythms of defeat and success punctuate the line;
either one wins or loses the game doesn’t matter,
it’s sportsmanship, fairness and attitude of respect.
Super Bowl kick-off highlights Sunday’s program,
championship in historic match cheers everyone;
along with mammoth crowds like on Staten Island,
jubilant fans who emerge and show their smiles.
Giants fans elsewhere blare their cars’ horns
a triumphant meaning, a victorious experience;
truly, it’s a huge and festive moment to share
with others who admire those players like Manning.
New England’s Patriots acknowledge their defeat,
their strengths and weaknesses make them authentic;
how they react and show about their abysmal loss
echoes a challenge, an experience worth reflecting.
New Yorkers herald jubilations and their triumphs,
faithful followers of their respective teams combined;
begin to celebrat and make a toast of beer in bars,
getting the whole clan, along with peers and friends.
Such a boisterous scene that makes the difference,
with ordinary games shown on TV or big screen;
however, the Giants in their popular name here,
has got their favor and trust from people elsewhere.
Living through long winter of northern India with nostalgic feelings of grace, peace, and comfort; traveling around to places where one could breathe a sigh of relief - ‘God’s own country’, Churches, temples, grave-yards, crematoriums - all imparting feelings as silent as silence itself and thus putting strength and vigor into an energy-drained-out body and mind until the spring creeps in and one reaches and wakes to the jubilations of flowers, birds and the whole of the Mother-Nature.

The lucky word I said
was the password
That broke her mind open to me
from curses to jubilations
Colorful season for the saints; a simple sign for sinners;
Happy hearts hover; love and light unites the universe.
Righteousness received in a wicked world by winners;
Indemnity to the indebted, laugh alive oh longing losers,
Seeking the Savior still, following the faith of our fathers.
Terrific throng and tone, bells and balloons across borders,
Merry making, gift and gowns glow… no proud nor paupers;
Alluring alarms by kids and kings; choruses by choristers,
Men and women in joy and jubilations, caressing Christmas…

For Santa...
So much goodwill and dedication
Hard work through the ages
Unnoticed sweat drop jubilations
Dusted most on gathered pages
Rocking chair of velvet comfort
Snowy beard with wishful cheer
Hearty smiles of flavored butter
Candy striped in scent sincere
Elves and reindeer all assisting
Snowstorm nights in huge demand
Graceful lights go out in blisters
Twinkled trails of stars and wand
Braving the cold around the globe
Soaring balloon and bundle of joy
Red and black to hide the old
Yet meekly essenced little boy
Melting in the youthful hopes
While filling up on expectations
Golden slay bells, white trimmed coat
Sharing the peace of spirit elation
Spread to those who stay awake
Attached to sleepless hands up North
To polish dreams for children’s sake
Relentlessly they venture forth
Down soot filled chimneys old and new
With aches in back that’s past its prime
And this you always manage to do
Before the running out of time
But you’re rewarded now and then
You find the X on treasured map
On countless roofs from way back when
Cradled to sleep on angel’s lap
The Beach Boys are singing with the Royal Philharmonic
as I sit upon my balcony and sip my gin & tonic
The music plays, it draws me in, the sounds are getting louder
they transport me to sunny climes ~ the coast of California
I visualize the surfers as they race towards the sea
in their psychedelic shorts ~ to catch a wave ~ no guarantee
Full of great determination they seek the tallest wave
they catch their wave, they are so brave,
then cheer and shout, they soar so high
supreme and wild
they touch the sky
so full of excitations and joyous jubilations
they raise their arms in wondrous celebrations
The music deep inside my soul where is it taking me
I am setting sail upon a boat they named the ‘Sloop John B’
It sails from sunny Eastbourne to California by the sea
So ‘Wouldn’t it be Nice’ in ‘The Warmth of the Sun’
To ride in Daddy’s T-Bird having ‘Fun - Fun – Fun’
So will you ‘Help me Rhonda’ as my mind begins to wander
To experience ‘Good Vibrations’ and amazing excitations
Here in sunny Eastbourne paradise beneath my nose
I wonder how much time is left, of course ‘God only Knows’
So as I walk along the prom and hum a Beach Boys surfing song
I know for sure I’m meant to be beside the sea where I belong

HONORABLE MENTION
I should have been contented with squeezing out
neat verses from jumbled, random thoughts,
with fashioning stanzas pretending profundity,
and with dashing off lines of serious lyrical nonsense.
I should have been detached and insulated
from pedestrian dalliances with the raw jubilations
and searing sorrows of the all-too-familiar souls.
I should have taken to heart the art of being aloof
to the stirrings of the mind about what to you
are such artless triflings with good and evil,
with justice and inequity, with ethics in politics.
Then I would have been to you a true poet,
your cold comrade at the shrine of your stoic art
of the brain, not of the heart.. but I'm the unpoetic.

Years have long dashed and sprinted
Round and round our town's old oval
Now abandoned, gone under to grass
An eerie site even for the bravest local
Some say on drizzle-darkened nights
The racetrack does visibly tremble
With cheers and raucous jubilations
Races fought by the fast and the nimble
Screams surge from a non-existent crowd
Echo distant yet distinct in the mind
Of one who has long been absent
From a neighborhood left so far behind.
